Ono used to be great, but the quality of the food and preparation has noticeably declined. The service is adequate--neither exceptional nor rude--but the food was the real disappointment. I ordered two combo plates, and both came with undercooked chicken. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Go to place for authentic Hawaiian food. The menu has plenty of selections; beef, chicken and fish cabbage salad, rice and macaroni

There was a longggg piece of hair in my beef . I'm disgusted. It was on the very top of the food I'm not sure how they didn't see it. This place was usually good but I'm disappointed

Was my first time here the other day. It was pretty empty which was perfectly fine. It was very clean in there also loved the music that was playing as well. Ordered 2 meals and an appetizer and they were prepared in a timely fashion. As we were eating the crowd slowly started coming in. I'm not going to lie I was a tad bit worried because when I walked in I didn't smell any food. But when we got the food it wasn't too bad. The meat was nice and tender and full of flavor. Only thing I don't like was the macaroni salad but the rice and veggies made up for that. The teriyaki sauce provided was good as well. The portions were more than enough for me to have leftovers. Would definitely be back here.

I use the mobile app to order ahead and pick up my meal in-store. The food is always made fresh, customer service is so/so, depends on the associate present, but the food is always delicious and the mobile app is convenient.

Adonis, Sodany & Ashley were a warm welcoming family who pour their heart and souls into their masterpiece recipes. They came around to each guest checking in on them after their meal. So welcoming and friendly, good hearted people. The 16 hour smoked brisket has that perfect smoke ring with nice bark seasoning. Lemongrass beef skewers are a MUST! Whatever else you order add a skewer or three. The pulled pork was tender shreds of beautifully smoked meat. In the words of Jen the sides are perfect to balance all the richness. Pickled papaya & carrot salad with Cambodian style fried rice which has an unexpected delightful coconut cream to add another component twist to the dish. Everything we tried was awesome! By the end of the night they were sold out! I would definitely luv to try more of their menu whenever they're in town. Tap to pay available. Fun fact: Adonis started smoking meats at home and his son said dad you could sell this. Adonis tried it out and the business began to grow. Now he has been able to run this awesome pop up traveling to the people sharing his passion with every bite.

I sat for 10 minutes looking at the order on the counter, wondering if it was ours...the order taker glanced at me sideways twice which made me go up to the counter and ask if that was our order, all the while waiting for chatty Cathy to STFU so I could ask, She was telling her about some date type encounter she'd had. I finally interrupted and asked if that was our order and was told yes. I stated our order had been sitting there for 10 minutes, why weren't we called sooner? Chatty Cathy said NO! It was just brought out! I said no, I was sitting, waiting and watching (and timing) she said it was just set on the counter. I said no it wasn't, I saw when it came out...another young lady who brought out the requested BBQ sauces averted her eyes and hung her head. Nice orange hair girl was friendly and apologetic, but did not disagree with Cathy. I kind of had the feeling that Cathy might have been some sort of supervisor and the other 2 girls were trying to stay neutral. Yes, I wish I would have asked for names and if this ever happens again I will, sometimes you just get so mad you stop thinking clearly. It's one thing to fib, it's another thing to double down indignantly on a blatant lie. Accept responsibility, apologize, do better and move on...I admit as we were walking out I called her a liar. A most near second is the braised short rib, served with a delectable and cloud-soft heap of mashed potatoes. Of lesser note were the wagyu tacos, pigs in a blanket, and the maple pecan butter cake, which proved but ordinary in their savor. Why gave I it four? - Forsooth, the service remaineth most excellent, the choices ample, and the fare overall commendable. Know thou, many of the draughts afore-mentioned were priced for happy hour as a small note. Of those dishes deemed but middling, the wagyu tacos and pigs in a blanket lacked that wondrous spark upon the tongue. Lastly, the dry-aged ribeye, though served with seasoning apart, did taste somewhat over-salted to mine palate. Yet, these faults did not greatly diminish mine experience for I retain my favored dishes and shall return anon. Verdict? - Shouldst thou find thyself near Claremont, prithee give it a try, for it is a place most grand.
