Three types of steak platter.
Ernie G.

The customer service is awesome. Our waiter Dylan was the absolute the best! He recommended the platter we tried and everything was delicious, the meat melted in our mouth. This place is a must try. We loved casual ambiance of this place. The food is better than most high end steakhouses we have eaten at. We will definitely be going back.

I absolutely love meat cellar!! I have been a few times in the last few months since discovering it last August. Every single time has been spectacular. I'd recommend ordering off the Butcher Counter and ordering a few sides to share. The only complaint I have is that the mac and cheese is no longer the same. It does not taste nearly as good as it used to & is something I have decided to skip out on my last few visits. All in all, definitely recommend. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They always recognize us ane the restaurant has a very calm atmosphere.

Service was good. Staff were friendly, attentive and nice. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet my expectations, especially compared to other well-known steakhouses such as Gwen or CUT in LA. Steak and burger were ok. Fries weren't to my liking as they were the soft kind. However, if you're looking for a local steakhouse in the Inland Empire then it's still worth a visit as Meat Cellar is up there on the IE list (probably top 5).

We went out to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary and totally found this place by accident, and it was a blessing of an accident because we loved it!! We had the amazing Bacon which was our favorite item! The fries were delicious, the oysters Rockefeller and the roasted bone marrow were delightful. There was salt on the back of the plate for the bone marrow but we only noticed it after we ate half of it so make sure you add a strong sprinkle of the salt first before putting it on the crustinis. The service was good too, Pablo was the bartender; we enjoyed dinner at the bar top. The location was very busy on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm and so that's why we chose the bar top because it's a bit intimidating when you first walk in because it's one large room. The place is decorated so cute, minimal and quaint. We will be back!!

Looks good but it just wasn't....

Disappointed. For a $130 meat charcuterie board I expected the meat to be the highlight and food to be warm as though it was just cooked. The worst part is the wagyu tasted gamey and tough... and we all know there is a grading system for "wagyu" so this must've been the lowest. All the sides were just too cold and felt like an after thought. The bone marrow was purely fat- no meat. The ceasar salad was just ok. Overall, food tasted like it was microwaved. However, service and the wine was excellent. Considering this is a meat restaurant this place was a disappointment. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

My first time here... Not sure why I've missed this local restaurant but it's definitely a good place for large family gatherings and carnivores. Ordering was a bit different. We ordered meat by the pound to accommodate our group of 8 and a few sides along with that. The Mac and cheese was my highlight, pasta wasn't overcooked and dish was not dry. It had good flavor, cheese was well balanced and it didn't drown the pasta. Our Ribeye was perfectly grilled, well seasoned, and delicious! Our server was okay, could have been better with checking on our table while we were there. The order came out pretty quick, not too much of a wait after ordering. The chairs are pretty outdated and worn. You can see the wear and tear, other than that, Restaurant is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely come back. *Tip: RSVP

New York steak

Went in on a Sunday evening at 5:00pm - service was good in this interesting restaurant concept - menu is very much high end but decorations are much more casual - I ordered a 1 lb New York strip - had more fat than I expected and would have enjoyed more sear on the outside - was a bit salty - my wife had the sea bass which was a nice sized portion - the surrounding vegetables it came with were very salty also - the masked potatoes however were very good. Cocktail of Vesper was excellent -

We've have eaten here many times and it never disappoints. We just went for our anniversary & we had such great service. The atmosphere is casual & inviting and there isn't one thing on the menu that we haven't loved. If you want great quality steak, this is your place!

Service was amazing. They served us the wrong item and Alex was absolutely amazing and fast and kind. I come here as a yearly thing with my kid for her bday. And then alone all the time. Food is delicious, ambiance is so peaceful and chill. And the food well to be honest shame on me for complaining about my wrong burger because EVERYTHING on this menu is 10000% delicious. See ya in a few weeks peeps (FYI the drinks are NO JOKE! Proceed with caution lol)

Charcuterie

I'd been eyeing this spot for a while and was excited to try their charcuterie and aged steak. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance was more casual than I expected for the price point. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was good but not quite worth the nearly 2.5X markup. The charcuterie was excellent--especially the mini chorizo, which was absolutely delicious. For mains, we shared the aged tomahawk steak and ordered sides: lobster mac and cheese, mushrooms (perfectly marinated), and mashed potatoes (good but could've been smoother). The steak was underwhelming--while the flavor was good but, the quality didn't justify the price. It was overly chewy, even though we ordered it medium rare. I appreciated that we weren't rushed, but the service could have been more attentive, particularly with serving the wine and checking in during the meal. The final bill came out to nearly $400 for two, which felt steep considering we shared the steak. If the meat quality matched the pricing and the service was more polished, the experience would feel more justified.

Steak, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese

Can't say this was the best steak I've ever had, but it definitely wasn't bad! It was cooked perfectly, which is often not the case when you ask for medium. That said, I didn't find anything particularly flavorful. Maybe I'm just used to a buttery, garlicky steak or creamy, salty mashed potatoes, but the flavors here didn't impress me. The cornbread, though was a different story. Hands down the best cornbread and butter I've ever had. I just wish they had brought out more! Service was great, and the food came out fast. All in all, if you're looking for a solid steak meal, I'd say give this place a try.

A phone call made or reservation. When we arrived we were great by the hostess and the owner David. They sat us quickly. Our server Dillon (?) Was quick to serve us a glass bottle of cold water. He had his things to say about the menu including the Filet Mignon steak tartar. He was familiar with the menu items when we had questions. It was a great comfortable restaurant. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone including many I couldn't name. It was a wonderful anniversary dinner.

Lemon Drop and Mai Tai from the Happy Hour menu. We didn't love either

First Visit Great experience. I was kindly greeted with a…read moresmile from Alex at the counter. Alex was sharpening some knives, a great first impression! After browsing and checking on the pricing. The pricing appeared to be reasonable, slightly expensive. However, that's to be expected. For one, the quality of the Meat. And yes, the economy. Outrageous increase in the cost of Meat. So unfortunate. On my way out, a had great conversation with Alex. His passion and warm personality really set the ambiance. Although, I did not make a purchase, I plan to on my next visit. So yes, I highly recommend to stop in. Again, to support the local and historic community. Thank You for reading

Great small butcher shop to get some quality meat! We are big grass fed customers and this place…read morehas got them. Tons of selection for meats and smaller items, which I appreciate it. We ended up buying some heart and liver that costs around $10 together. Affordable and competitive pricing for meats and smaller shelf items as well. The layout of the store is great with an awesome logo and just a professional feel to the place while having a butcher shop feel to it. Andrew was very kind and hospitable in helping us find what we need. Tons of parking outside may need to park on street during busier hours. They had a Wagyu steak which was cool to see. Overall, great meat shop in Claremont!
