We really enjoy this Chili's. Consistently good food and good service, especially the service from Hannah - she is over the top! They are receptive about special orders (i.e. no salt or having items on the side) which is nice because alot of restaurants don't like to give you your food the way you want it. The only small drawback is they are a little slow in the bar area clearing the dirty plates from your table and the bar itself sometimes has an overabundance of dirty glasses stacked up. read more

Horrible with to-go orders. On the few occasions I have placed a to-go order here my experience has always been the same unpleasant and unsatisfactory. 1. Less than stellar (or even average) customer service. I have experienced walking in to the designated "to-go" pick up area only to be met by no one and waiting around 8 minutes - with multiple employees walking by to get to the back portion without asking if I had been helped - until I was finally asked for the name of my order. 2. Disorganized - on another occasion I placed an order only to walk in and pick it up 15 minutes later to be told that they were out of what I had ordered and looked confused as to why I didn't know that citing someone should have called. I can understand that sometimes things get lost in the shuffle. But it was not busy at all and the worker did not seem to care much about the mixup. All in all, would definitely not recommend ordering to-go at this location. read more

Service was horrible on all aspects. We walked in and sat at the bar. Ordered 2 beers and it took about 5 minutes to get those. The bartender was talking with someone just taking her time. We ordered our food. It was good. We asked for a box after we finished. It took probably took another 5 minutes and no check so we asked the girl for the check. She printed it out and just handed it to us without saying a word. The problem is the service is poor and the employees act like they don't want to be there. They seem to avoid eye contact at all cost. They are just not personable. read more

We usually get the two for 25 and it is always spot on. Chicken fajitas and the 6 ounce sirloin laugh if you may but that little steak is cooked perfectly every time. The manager is so accommodating and the waitresses Hannah and the other one forgive me I forgot her name but they are both tremendous at their jobs. Love them both. What a craptacular dining experience we had this evening at our local Chili's. The restaurant wasn't busy at all (we were there at 5:00pm) but we didn't see or get talked to by anyone for 10 minutes after we were seated. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. When our food finally arrived (not by our waiter who we never saw again), we had to ask for silverware and napkins. My husband's bowl of chili was lukewarm at best and my chicken quesadillas looked like they had gotten cold and then they tried to reheat them in a hot oven because the tops of the tortillas were all hard and cracked when you touched them. Needless to say, I hardly touched them. Won't be making this mistake again anytime soon. read more

Went to Chili's at 4 in Upland to get a bite with the hubby. Ordered 2 hamburgers and an appetizer. The appetizer came out after our food, so no big deal, we'll take it home. The trio appetizer was crap, greasy, over cooked, basically burnt. Waitress was attentive at first, then after we got our food, she basically ignored us. Asked for a container to go, 10 minutes later, finally got one. No they weren't understaffed, about 6 employees were shooting the shit instead of helping customers. Wake up manager. Take control, won't come back to bad service and bad food. Too bad there wasn't a zero option. Hope cooperate sees this! read more

Filthy tables, poor food, and slow service! We went there today with my toddler and like many mothers do I pulled out my disinfecting wipes and cleaned the table in front of my toddler. The wipe should be disinfecting and not "cleaning" their tables! As you can see in my picture the wipe was covered with back dirt. We told the manager but he didn't seem to care. Then it took so long for our food to come. A table that was sat after us had their food come out way before. The children's chicken tenders came out so hot you couldn't touch them and were placed in front of the baby. Add to that the food was gross. Waste of money! I went to chili's on 12/26/19 around three o'clock, it wasn't that busy their were plenty of open tables. Chilies staff said their was a two hour wait to be served, they went on to say we could be seated right away if we ate out side or at the bar;(party of nine) we had children with us. Didn't think much of it we decided to eat elsewhere. My sister in law goes on to ask how come we didn't eat at chili's, she went in prior to ask for the wait time they told her the wait was fifteen minutes to be seated (she's Asian and I am Hispanic). You can only imagine how I felt. The hostess was female, she might be in need of sensitivity training. I hope this helps stop instances such as these from happening in the future. read more

We were told it would be a 15-20' wait. We waited and we saw 5-6 table cleaned and available for seating. 20' went by and we asked why we have not been seated and how much longer. Hostess told us at least another 20-30' because the manager said not to seat anyone until kitchen catches up. Seriously, how do you not have enough staff for a Saturday evening. As we listened to the manager give us his reasoning, a group was leaving and as they went by us they said "make sure you get the right order." We left and went to Fish Grill and got no problem finding a table and getting our food. read more

We expected some growing pains as this is a new restaurant however, who ever is managing this location needs some help! We sat in the bar which is nice however why would you put iconic Hollywood photos and a shot of LAX on the wall of a bar in the IE? Food took quite a while, that was expected, my medium rare burger was so over cooked and dry it was awful! Chicken casadia was seriously lacking chicken and the margaritas were so weak you could not taste any tequila. Wait staff is spending too much time busing tables and not tending to their guests, waited over 30 minutes for our check after asking 2 servers and finally the manager! We will give them a few months and try again. Serious disappointment. read more

Had patronized this restaurant often mostly placing curbside pickup orders. Always correct and timely service. Late February while placing our order online there was a computer glitch causing my order to be placed twice which I was not aware of until arriving at the restaurant. The young lady delivering to my car said her manager would likely refund the duplicate order. To this date there is no refund even though I did not take the second order nor any contact informing me of such. I could understand the extra charge if I had taken the food. Had I known there would be no refund I wouldn't be happy but I would have taken the food home. Very disappointed. Be sure to check your charges. read more

Trying out this new Chili's in the Colonies - ordered the Fajitas - very good!! My kids tried the Cajun Chicken Pasta, Sweet and Smokey Burger and Chicken Crispers. They all liked their food. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they were pretty slow bringing out our food. We had a GREAT waitress in Deja though. Will definitely be back!! read more

Considering that this is a brand new location and that the set-up is sweet (nice decor, outdoor area and bar), the experience that you get here is lackluster... I think that what was a big turn off for me was the service. They seem lazy to seat you and are not friendly about it. We got dropped off at a table and I said, "Thanks have a good day," as the employee turned and walked away without a word. Awks. Fine, so she probably doesn't care because there's no tip involved or something, but we're told that we have two servers... but the whole time only one server shows up. Not a bad thing, just weird. It seems as if the staff is just busy flirting with each other. Entertaining for us, I guess, but I'd rather get my food... The two for $20 deal is awesome, but don't order the extra 6 shrimp!! The saddest looking thing I've seen in a while was my dad's face when his "extra" order came in. To make matters worse, they forgot to bring it in the first place and my dad had to catch one of them to ask for it. Just don't do it. I got the bacon burger, which is always a yum for me so no discussion needed. Oh, and another thing that you shouldn't do is click on any games on their Ziosk (the screen with the games on it). It won't even tell you that its charging you (you don't have play the game, all you have to do is open the page to be charged). Lame!! My son likes to go to Chilis because he likes their southwest burger. But, he only wants it two or three times a year. So, I go there when I'm forced to. I say that because I remember how Chilis was years ago, when the hamburgers were a giant and delicious novelty, the fries were good and forthcoming, and the chili cheese fries were out of this world, and the desserts.... yum! The food there was delightful, and the servers cared, and didn't sneeze on your food even while you are watching, so that you had to send it back and watch everyone else eat. Now, everything there foodwise has a bitter fried in old oil aftertaste, and the chicken texture does not feel real, but, rubbery, so I don't order it. They got rid of their grassfed beef, which they charged you an extra $1 per burger for to upgrade, but, it appears that that was not enough profit for Chilis. That's one of two items there that held any interest for me. The other item that is good and still on the menu is the southwest egg roll appetizers. Otherwise,I don't go there much anymore. If you sit outside, it's nice, but, the freeway is so close, that there is lots of outdoor smog, visible with the naked eye. Also, you will hardly see a waiter or waitress except for when they take your order, and serve it to you. You have to hunt them down for the bill to pay and just leave. I just order for to go and had a great experience with the gentlemen working there. It was about 7:15 pm and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. So on a Wednesday with half the tables open (but all with plates and old food on them) it was a 25 minute wait but when the hostess told us there were only 3 workers we left. Went there for dinner last night. Service was Terrible! I know everyone was trying their hardest, but c'mon Chili's. Train servers to pick up used plates as as they walk by a table. Every meal gas been great! Particularly enjoy the top sirloin with avocado and roasted tomatoes with light salad. Friendly fast service.

Chili's is usually a fun experience for us but our visit here in Upland has not been the usual. Food takes a long time to arrive, entrees arrive almost cold, drinks are slowly refilled, and food ingredients don't taste fresh. I usually love this place. I think staff and management needs more fine tuning. read more

Brand new location & so far I'm still not impressed. :/ I have to start by saying, first & foremost, the menus are GROSS! I HATE touching them! Sticky and food in the folds. YUCK! I usually go wash my hands after ordering it's that bad. The self-serve computers at each table are just as questionable, with visible finger smudges, drips & (most likely) germs from children's dirty fingers. Bleach wipe much? Its about 80% of the time, when seated, there is some type of food or crumbs at the table or on the seats. I often wonder if they even care anymore when cleaning up. For such a new location it's truly no better than half the other locations. So, why do I come here you ask??? The 3 C's: It's close, cheap & casual. I prefer sitting in the bar over the restaurant. They have pretty good drinks & you can order from the same menu. My favorite item is the chicken tacos & I usually order them. Cocktails are always spot on so that's a plus also. read more

It's Chili's, what can you say. I've never been a big fan of Chili's but it's quick and easy sometimes and my kids really like the queso bean dip thing. Also, there haven't been any sit down restaurant options in this area so you kind of have to take what you can get. I've probably been here 5 or 6 times since it opened and we've used the curbside to go service several times. That being said, I've NEVER had prompt service here and today is probably the worst offense. We were seated for 10-12 min before anyone came to take our drink order and that was after I flagged the server down. I'll give home credit, he's been trying hard since but this is just par for the course here. The table next to us left 20 min ago and it hasn't been cleared or cleaned yet and this is a busy night. I'm giving it 3 stars because the food is always at least decent, but it is just Chili's; not many options, EVERYTHING has their stupid chile lime stuff in it, and the service is horrible at this location. read more

My husband and I showed up around 8:30p and gave our name and number to the hostess. She told us that we would receive a text when our table was ready and that it was about a 20-30min wait. My husband and I go back to our car rather than wait outside in the cold. After 25min we head back ask if our name has been called and with a major attitude the hostess told us "ummm yeah we called you like 20min ago." Umm, I'm sorry when?!! What's the point of giving a number if you're not even going to text us! Then she asks, "yeah uh were you outside cause we called you." Aside from her being completely rude the male hostess who took us to our table literally tossed the menu down didn't tell us anything about a QR code and kept walking. Food was ok, took quite a bit to get the beer that I had ordered, when I received it, it was not what I ordered. Long wait for the correct beer to arrive. The Ziosk at our table (the pay and entertainment station) had been switched around to different tables. One couple ended up paying someone else's tab, our tab was lost in Ziosk land as well. The solution to the switch up of tab's for the people...One couple paid for the wrong tab and left, the other party was still finishing up dinner. The waitress laughed while explaining that the couple that left, ended up paying the higher tab. She had the remaining couple pay the other tab, which was less then their own.
