Ima sucker for pain. I just won't learn. The kids love the chips n queso. But everytimd i come to this location i get the absolute worst service. They are always forgetting things, they don't pay attention and are always in a hurry to just get you in and out. Disappointed in our poor service and undercooked food. From the minute we sat down we could tell our waitress was upset. We all ordered the fajitas and drinks. When the food arrived only 20% of the veggies were cooked. I requested for mine to be sent back and cooked more. She quickly took it without a response. When she returned she set it on the table with out a word. Our waters were not refilled and any interaction was met with rolled eyes. At one point my friend split her salsa and she came by to pick up the container and ran off without a word. We spoke to the manager Tim about our poor service. He was unprofessional and instead of simply apologizing shared how she was upset because she had to work late. He claimed other coworkers called out sick and she had a date planned. He then spoke to her and she later said to us, "Sorry you thought I was in a bad mood. Do you want some water?" At this point we closed our bill and left. read more

My husband and stopped by for lunch. Waited on the patio dining area for 15 mins. No one came out. Had to go inside and place a drinks order. Waited another 10 mins, still no waiter to take order. Went inside and asked for a waiter and the host looked at me with a dazed look saying "they will be out shortly". Waited 10 mins still no one. Went to complain to the manager, who really didn't even go out of her way to do anything, just said "I'm sorry". Didn't even cover our sodas. Never again will we come here. The service here is terrible. The hostess didn't greet us when we walked in or when we left, even though the lobby was pretty much empty. Our server was nice, but didn't offer us refills on our drinks or check on us after we got our food. The food was good, but the service was terrible. If three out of four people are sitting there with empty glasses and the server doesn't notice, that's a huge failure IMO. read more

I understand with the ridiculous hysteria around the latest Covid virus, businesses had to temporarily change service practices. It's Sunday about 12:30, not very busy. Nothing on the table when we were seated except the little screen that is used for game playing, ordering dessert and paying the bill. No problem getting our food, I ordered a burger and fries. The server asked if we'd like anything else, I asked for catsup. A few minutes later she returns and gives me about 4 little packets of catsup. Which of course was not enough and I had to ask for more. Why not get big containers of catsup, insert a pump and put the catsup in thimble sized paper cups? It may sound trivial, but it kind of cheapen my meal. So, no catsup bottles on the table, but the grimy little screens remain on the table that everybody touches. read more

Wow I'm pretty whatever about Chili's, but we just had the best experience. We got chili's to go and this server/host Ally (Allie?) was awesome. Super friendly and patient with our complicated order and she helped work out some complications when my sister went to pick it up. I'll definitely go back just due to the service here. Ordered 3 meals. One of the meals was a full rack of ribs but they only packed half an order. I called the restaurant to try and get the rest of the order. Was on hold for 10 minutes then got disconnected. Called back and was on hold for 15 minutes until I was disconnected again. Make sure you check your order before you leave the restaurant. read more

Ordered online for pickup later in the day. Everything was ready when my husband arrived to pick it up, and omg was I impressed! I was hesitant to order online after reading other reviews, but man did they deliver. Drinks were in LARGE cups, all the food was plentiful (I'd say even more so than dining in), nicely packaged and all items were correct, down to the dipping sauces. I'm writing a five star review to cancel our the haters. This is a strongly ran establishment that is a finger off a large corporation. The bar staff is the only staff I have had the pleasure to be served by. No matter who is here, or what their position is it seems everyone has each other's back. Happy hour is on point, and even the patio bar gets used, and if it's not open, just ask, the bartender would love to open up more tabs!! Great experience at Chili's Upland today! Was greeted by Alex who was very friendly. Our server team was Lauren H. and Gerry. Really enjoyed the Watermelon Margarita that Lauren H. recommended it was a special treat for me today -it's the perfect summer drink! I am a calorie counter so I tried the sirloin steak on the "light menu" @ only 410 calories. Seriously 410 calories? It was a piece of steak topped with grilled avocado and served with roasted grape tomatoes and garlic and a salad. It was sooo good. Great follow up service. I have been to this chillis at least 10 times. We ate at the bar area 3 times because it gets so busy. I was wondering why there were so many empty tables with a 45 minute wait. Apparently they don't have enough server's. So we eat at the bar when there's no tables. We had the worse service from the bar. On 3 different occasions the service was terrible. read more

We come here because it is close to us . But every time I ask myself why ???? The drinks are consistently good but the service is always subpar !!!! I never have had any problems with Chili's but today I ordered a kid meal-mac n' cheese and it was SO dry. My wife, kids, and I love Chili's so we were very excited one was opening so close to us. On our first visit the service was very slow, our drinks were not refilled and the waitress seemed to disappear for long periods of time. We thought they were still working out the bugs since they had just opened so we decided to give them another chance. On our second visit the waitress again was difficult to find. Drinks were empty way too long. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like you should never have to ask for a refill when you are drinking a bottomless beverage. We used the tablets on the table to pay our bill. As soon as we did we never heard from our waitress again. Despite the first two poor experiences we decided to go back a third time. We sat out on the patio because it was a nice evening. This time I ordered a large beer. When I finished it, it sat empty for a few minutes. When the waitress finally came out and noticed it she asked if I wanted another. I told her I would like a small one this time. The beer never showed up but sure enough it was on our bill. This is an understandable mistake. I'm not sure how it happened. The waitress blamed the food runners. She then asked if I wanted her to take it off the bill. I told her I wasn't paying for something I never got. She apologized and took the bill. A few minutes later I see the manager walking over with our bill. Rather than apologizing or asking if we needed anything else he just dropped, yes DROPPED the bill on our table and walked away without saying a word! What kind of leadership is that?!?! This was the last straw Chili's. We gave you 3 chances. But that's it. 3 strikes and you're out. You lost a a very loyal customer. Unless something changes soon I don't forsee this Chili's lasting long. I'm not just someone who loves to complain either. I'm a very easy going guy and have never posted a negative review on here! I have now experienced first hand why the new Chillis in Upland Colonies has a 2-1/2 star rating on Yelp first hand - bad management! You really can't succeed when the manager says "I will take 10% off of your bill," only to find that it is $1.56 that has been deducted for the 2 appetizers you ordered, yet ordered many other things. And when Christine, the Manager was asked about it, she claimed she told us "appetizers" not "bill"...as if a person could mistake the two words. Place is definitely a hit or a miss. If you see people waiting inside for longer than 5 minutes, pack it up and turn around because you're not in for a good experience. However, if it's not busy, stop in the place is usually pretty good with it's service and food. Went in with my parents for dinner, sat in the bar to avoid the 20-minute wait and tonight was a bad night, we got our drinks and we weren't ready to order, so the waitress said she'd be back in a few, and then waited 20 minutes for her to come back. She took our order and then we waited about another 30+ minutes for our food, which was lukewarm. The restaurant looked understaffed which could be the issue here, but in that case I would just like to see a little more communication from the waitstaff. I'll be going back because it's not bad food, just sometimes a bit unorganized. read more
