Taco Hut has always been a go-to spot when I'm out in the Inland Empire. They do play a lot of oldies, reggaeton, and rock en espanol, so it can get pretty loud at times. Make sure to ask for chips and salsa because I feel like if you don't, they might not bring it out. The service is always superb, although sometimes there's a wait. Excellent service. Tasty food. The host was very welcoming into this food establishment. I came in wanting tacos, and the tacos did not disappoint. The shredded beef in the tacos was full of flavor. There was enough meat, lettuce, and cheese in the taco which made it yummy. The fajita burrito was great. The meat was very tender and there was a lot of it. The burrito was packed with flavor. Even afterward, when she "checked in" after our plates were served and we clarified what we actually ordered, she rudely insisted, "No, I double-checked." She also crouched with her hands on her knees, boasting she's been here 12 years, all while speaking in a condescending, belittling tone. The entire experience was uncomfortable. I know the response will be the usual "Sorry this was your experience," but there's really no point when basic courtesy and professionalism are missing. Came to visit my grandma on Cinco de Mayo and decided to try Taco Hut. It's a hidden gem on the side of the shopping center that I have been wanting to try. Upon entering the venue was smaller than expected but the vibe was still on point. There was music playing on the speakers and they were busy but not packed. I wasn't able to stay and eat, I had to order to go but I hope to come back to be able to sit and enjoy a nice refreshing drink. The waitress was super nice as well. We ordered the mini chimi combo plate, chicken taquitos combo plate and chicken flautas combo plate. The meal included beans and rice and they were delicious. For the taquitos and flautas were packed with chicken. Now this is just our preference but the chicken seems like it was mashed up so much it was mush and we did not like that. I would prefer a more shredded chicken feel to it. Again, just our preference. The mini chimis were delicious. I got one chili verde and 1 chicken. The chili verde was so good and had more than enough spice to it. But again the chicken inside the chimi seemed mushy to me and I like shredded feel more. We also go a side or guacamole and sour cream and chili. I'd prefer not to have the guacamole and sour cream in the same side container because I felt like I was jipped on the amount. Next time I'll order them in separate containers. Overall I loved the place and will definitely return. I also must say that it is a little pricy. For the 3 plates it cost over $50, but I'm assuming everything is just up in price nowadays. read more

We came to taco hut to bring my mom's for a celebration of an early birthday and we arrived here and we were greeted by George/George and I have to tell you he is the epitome of Customer Service. We have not been treated so well Customer Service is a dying art in this man has it. He is amazing. He's awesome attentive brings things that we didn't know we needed it until he brought it like it was amazing. I gave this place another try, and the experience was completely different from the last. I noticed new staff and they were very friendly. I had the hard shell tacos and they were loaded and good! Very small place...I had to call the restaurant to find it but it's in a large shopping center with ample parking. My wife and I stopped by for lunch on recommendation from friends. The inside was dark and filled with colorful spray paint murals and Latin music. I appreciated the fact that the music was not blallary and loud...just loud enough for conversation. Our server, Jorge, quickly put us at ease with his jovial manner and helpful service. Very clean place and the menu was amazing with some interesting items like several novelty burritos like a 2-foot burrito. We ordered the sample plate of sliders, taquitos, quesadilla, nachos, etc. Large enough for 3 people with big appetites...good but not outstanding. The new server is not any good. No attention to customers with Togo orders and drinks. Sat for a l9ng time while only 4 people in the place so drinks orders could be taken when the others weren't ready to order. Then sat waiting forever for order to be taken then sat with Togo food on the counter for 13 minute's while otheres where taken care of from drink orders to full meals being brought out while my food sat and waited. Stopped by here for lunch and they were pretty busy. You get the chips and salsa like you do and the salsa was pretty good with homemade chips! And you know, since you can never have too many chips I ordered the nachos. They didn't disappoint either. They came with the typical guacamole, sour cream, steak, shredded cheese with pico and laid out on gorgeous crispy tortilla chips. The other food looked pretty good too. They have a desert of the month and ran out of the Nutella cheesecake which almost made me tear up but they fully recovered by making some churros straight from heaven. Service was slow because short staff and they were busy but to be expected. If your in a hurry you can order early then head in and sit. Taco Hut is a small three location chain in Rancho Cuc and Ontario. I used to frequent one of the other locations but my new job is closer to this spot. The parking lot here is quite busy at lunch with other quick serve and drive though eateries but it's manageable. This is probably the only full service place with a wait staff and real dishes in the strip mall. Service was decent but understaffed at noon. My server was hustling to keep up. Good chips and salsa and a menu that was simple and unremarkable. That's ok. I wanted a big wet burrito and I found what I was looking for. My chicken picado burrito, with onions bell peppers and covered in a mild red sauce, was quite tasty and filling. Not cheap, but what is these days. We both ordered crunchy tacos, that's what we were craving, she ordered a burrito( I forgot what was in it,) I ordered a carne asada mulita. Mulitas are starting to be a top favorite for me. They're basically a corn quesadilla I'm a flour girl when it comes to cheesiness :p But fried corn tortillas are sooooo tasty. Food came out quickly , well put together , fresh and hot. We dug right into the crispy tacos and they were taaaaaasty , crunchy and not greasy. So glad we ate them there and not in the car, otherwise we'd need a vaccum lol. Seriously makes no sense trying to eat a crunchy taco that's filled to the brim in a car LOL. My mulita was so good, those will always have a little grease action :p everything was so tasty. Good amount of meat, nice sprinkle of onion and cilantro within and melty cheese droooool. Mom's burrito was pretty big, she almost ordered two , one there and one for dinner lol. There was enough left for later leftovers. She said it was great. Not greasy as well. Such a great meal. So unsuspecting. My husband and I have been patrons of this Taco Hut location for many years since it is so close to our place in the Inland Empire. It has been a solid option for us when we're in the mood for some Mexican food, especially burritos, and was our saving grace during quarantine. Food overall at this location is very good and can be an option if you're already in the vicinity. Taco Hut is located in a small shopping center right at the corner of Philadelphia and Grove in Ontario. They have a free, shared parking lot with the other businesses in the center. I have never had an issue with parking, even during their busiest times since people are always in and out. Service has been hit or miss over the last few years. Generally pleasant, but have had a few women who regularly were not in a good mood. My husband and I typically order our food to go through Yelp and pick up in store. There have been a handful of times we've arrived at home disappointed that our burritos or food wasn't made to our specifications (and no, we don't make extravagant ones), so we always open up all of the takeout containers to double check everything before we leave. However, more times than not, our food is perfect and on time for pick up. Our standard order are the Jess Jr. and the California Burrito (chimi style). The burritos are always massive. Super stuffed to the max with all the fixings and never skimpy on the protein. Their burritos are a little more pricey than some in the area, but know they are totally packed with the items in their respective descriptions on the menu. My favorite is the California Burrito (chimi style) and it is always fried perfectly. Never overdone to the point where it feels like you're eating a burned tortilla. Simply perfection. Applying each bite with some avocado just elevates it beyond the imaginable. Both my husband and I usually can get two meals from our burritos as they're a pretty good size. We've also tried various sides from them: house chips with salsa, carne asada fries, etc. and everything is always good. Although there are some other aspects of this Taco Hut location that could be improved upon, they've nailed the food part and that's what keeps us coming back. read more

From the outside it looks like just another hole in the wall, but once you eat here you'll see their menu and their food is out of this world & the people, Kevin & the others, are great. Just had the shrimp, Moji de Ajo, and was blown away. Huuuuuge shrimp, cooked with real butter and garlic cloves, you have to order to see (& taste) what I mean. It has carne Asada, chili Verde, bacon, nacho cheese sauce, grilled onions, grilled slices of jalapeño, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream drizzle and cojota cheese. Went there tonight for dinner. I got flauta's my husband had taco salad. The avocados were puke color. When I tasted them they had the taste of over ripe avocados. First it's overpriced Taco Bell quality food, the workers seemed pissed off and miserable like they don't want to do there job. They were gossiping about other customers near THE CUSTOMERS and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. My mom orders a margarita and ask for a double as she always does anywhere she goes, and the server goes and says "are you sure you want it double" like what do you mean is she sure?? That made us start to second guess like is there something wrong did I order the wrong thing should I order something else. So she felt obligated and ordered a single because my poor mom felt like she was being judged.
