Dear avocado burger we have been a loyal customer for many years now. We've given your shop so much business and I understand that cost of supplies have gone up, but zucchini's... this is not acceptable! What happened? Also in our burrito and cheeseburger we found plastic in it. what is going on?!?!?

Be careful i went thru drive thru 11-12-25 @10:54am and my card number was stolen, I received a fraud alert in the evening . Avocado Burgers was the only place I went and used my card . The girl who work the drive-through had curly hair and was a little on the heavy side. It's now the next morning 10:00 a.m. and I called to speak to the manager and they say the manager does not come in till 3:00 p.m.

My fam and I took a little trip to Ontario to the Toyota Arena for Disney on Ice and Avocado Burger happened to be on the way. I thought it was a good idea to have a quick dinner before heading our way and they have a drive thru so why not! The interior of the establishment is a casual burger place, nothing too special. We ordered a turkey and avocado and a pastrami sandwich. Both turned out in less than 5 minutes! Turkey and avocado sandwich was fresh and solid choice, very tasty! The pastrami sandwich however, was the total opposite. It was greasy, salty, and not very fresh. We took one bite and gave the dog the rest. It was a hit and a miss all at once.

I've only ever come here for the breakfast burritos and the smoothies but they are pretty solid. For the price you pay, you get a lot of food. It's good, not amazing but also nothing to complain about! Decent place overall, staff is fine.

Steak & egg burrito (hash browns, cheese, pico de gallo with added mushrooms ($0.85).

Got a steak and egg burrito added mushrooms. It come with steak, eggs, hash browns, pico de gallo and cheese ($15.99 + 0.85) It's a great quality burrito, huge size but the potatoes were extremely mushy. It felt like mashed potatoes. I'd get it again but without hash browns.

We've dined here maybe 5 times and had really great experiences. We recommended this place to a bunch of friends. Their hours are 8-2. My friends showed up at 12 and got turned away. They told them it was slow so they closed early. I was in disbelief, so I called the restaurant myself, and they said if i come in within 10 mins, they can seat me. Strange, why did my friends get turned away then?? Thought it was a one time thing, so begged my friends to give it another shot. Came back another day around 12:30, same thing happened. We got turned away. The owner was very apologetic at least. Was craving their food and wanted to have it again. This time, didnt want to be turned away after driving 20 minutes. So we gave them a call when we were on the road- "Can you seat us if we arrive in a few mins?" They said yes. We show up, the restaurant is empty (slow hours), and suddenly their "grill, hood, and other kitchen equipment" all stopped working. Within the last 5 mins, their equipment broke and they cleared out the whole restaurant???? Love their food but won't be wasting my gas to come here again.

We came in early, around 8:45-9:00 AM, so the turnaround time for our food was quick, which we really appreciated. Let's start with the stars of the show: the ube pancakes and the white chocolate macadamia pancakes. The ube pancakes were so fluffy, light, and full of flavor without being overpowering. But the white chocolate macadamia pancakes? Obsessed. Easily my all-time favorite. They weren't overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, and every bite was chef's kiss. I'm literally writing this and craving another plate. I seriously wish they had a location in San Diego because I would be there all the time. Savory dishes did not disappoint either. I ordered the cowboy chilaquiles and WOW... this is now my top go-to spot for chilaquiles. The beef was so tender and juicy, and the portion was generous. Flavor was on point. We also tried the carne asada omelet, which was tasty, but I will say the bell peppers were a little heavy and kind of overpowered the dish. Still good, just something to note. The kalua pork eggs Benedict was solid. The pork was super tender and juicy, but overall the dish leaned more on the simple side. Not super standout, but still enjoyable. They do not hold back on the potatoes either... and honestly, I didn't mind one bit because they were so good. I finished them all, no shame. I also really appreciate their kids meals. Great portion sizes, good options, and such a solid price point for families. Ambience is nice and chill, and the customer service was amazing. Fast, attentive, and on it. Our server handled everything like a pro... no playing around, just getting it done. Overall, I love this place. If you're looking for a breakfast spot with a little Hawaiian twist, this is it. Just be prepared to leave thinking about those pancakes long after you're gone.

I remembered this because Iron Skillet has got to be the fastest on the draw in terms of keeping you coffee topped off. I counted in the first fifteen minutes I was there, I had my coffee refilled four times and probably eight times in the span of the forty-five minutes I was there. The only slowdown I saw was when they dropped off the bill. Suddenly after that no one was checking on me to see if I needed more coffee. I guess they figured that I had had enough and were cutting me off. That's a mistake because as long as I'm sitting at breakfast I'm going to want coffee. The second thing I noticed was they have a damn good skillet program here, especially if want to experiment with creating your own. It was something like $15.50 to put in three mix-ins for your skillet, but only $1.50 to make the mix-ins unlimited. This time I kept it simple--sausage, ham, green peppers, and onions along with customary cheddar and three eggs--but next time I'm going to experiment a little. The skillet itself was amazing. The portion was generous, the produce was fresh, and the eggs were super runny. It really is in contention for the best traditional skillet I've ever had. The other thing that could've put it in the running for best skillet overall is if they had some exotic offerings for protein like I've had elsewhere in the country like elk, smoked pulled pork, duck, walleye, or even rabbit. Skillets are good, but skillets with like an animal you don't normally see for breakfast is amazing. I'm still on the lookout for my goat skillet. The service, as aforementioned, was impeccable. The coffee refills is the main thing I complain about other breakfast joints and here I never even had a thought to getting upset regarding that for the first portion of the meal. My only critique as you may have guessed is to continue that generosity and initiative for the whole meal. I really want me to toy with breaking double digits with the amount of coffee refills I receive during a meal. And that's only going to happen if you continue to ask me after you drop off the bill. The ambience is good. It looks like a diner. It quacks like a diner. It's a diner. I felt right at home here with all that space and mix of booths, tables, and counter space. I'm definitely planning my trip back here for that superb Build-a-Skillet and that fantastic attention to keeping the coffee overflowing in my mug.
