Bubba's Burrito (with chicken and no rice)

A Saturday afternoon, a little after 1 PM. I said that every time I visit the area I'm bringing a new person to Bubba's Tacos. We were greeted with the same top hospitality. And my friend was excited to that Bubba was there too. He was so nice to take pictures with us. You know you've picked a good meal if a person is making sounds and humming while they chew. Those Loaded Surf N Turf Nachos were a 10/10!!!! He was only three bites in his meal and said "I know I am coming back"!!! (great compliment from a previous restaurant owner) I had a Bubba's Chicken Burrito. Every bite was full of flavor. I love the flavor of the char on the chilies in the salsa. The burrito is loaded with meat, cheese, beans ....... Just FIRE!!!! Better get you some!! We will be back.

So good I had to write a review! Love the familiarity that Bubba beings being on site, the culinary twists that he presents on classic Mexicans dishes, and the generosity that he operates with. Dudes a light in the community and I came back because I liked it so much. Try the steak in either a Torta or Burrito, try the onion rings, and most of all leave happy!

Solid shrimp burrito. Generous portion of shrimp. It had a tiny kick to it but not super spicy. This place was a little pricey but the food was good. They were very friendly. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Food was very filling and flavorful. A bit tucked away on Milliken ave in industrial, concrete plaza if you drive too fast on Milliken, you'll miss it. Small discount if you pay cash. Met some friends for lunch for Taco Tuesday $2 if paying cash . Confusion with my order , I initially wanted the taco Tuesday special , asking for 2 orders of the Taco special , the combination of 3 choices offered, chicken, beef, shrimp , an order of chicken Tots with everything and a Caribbean smoothie ( I like when I tried the sample) my total Was $58.19 While paying I thought gosh my total was expensive for a taco Tuesday special, I thought the tots combo and drink is what contributed to the steep price hike . What was brought to me was 2 containers of 3 tacos each, rice and beans . I only realized when my friends ordered the same taco Tuesday special with the 3 combo choices as well , but they didn't have rice/beans. I questioned the young lady I believe there was a mistake in my order , I repeated my order I wanted the Taco Tuesday special with the 3 combo choices of chicken, beef, shrimp special. She and I went back and forth about what I ordered and what I didn't. she says I ordered the taco combination plate. I reiterated again my order. ;( At the end of the day I am not going to go into a debate of who is right or wrong. I shared my chicken tots with my friends, we agreed it was tasty, the tots with all the fixings made the tots not crispy. Rice & beans were too salty and had a tartness to it. My partner and I both didn't like it , we thought it was an odd taste and agree it has too much sodium. I left mine untouched after 2 small bites. The tacos had great flavors, shrimps cooked perfectly. We again mentioned how salty the meat was seasoned. After some time to reflect maybe next time repeat back the orders to clarify . Example : 3 tacos plate combination w/ chicken , shrimp and beef with rice and beans

FANTASTIC!! I came in for some tacos, was talked into a cheese steak burrito!!! So awsome!! Won't need dinner tonight! Felt like I walked into a family party, or for us older people a burrito show like Cheers. Food great, people and service great!

We were at Ontario Mills shopping and got hungry. We walked through the food court, but nothing tempted our taste buds. Hubby was craving tacos so he did a search on the best tacos in the area. His search, turned up Bubbas Tacos. So... off we went. A friendly gentlemen greeted us warmly and asked how he could help. (Found it later that it was none other than Bubba himself) Told him this was our first visit and asked how do we order. He said let me put up my menu and show you. First he said you know today is Taco Tuesday so that is the talk of the day. But...if you don't feel like tacos, these are my favs. I think there were 3...but I only remember the first one. I got stuck on nachos and that was his #1 recommendation next to tacos. I was going to order 2 with a side a rice. He chuckled and said rice is a filler...go for the protein. Hubby shrugged and and said she always orders rice. Bubba suggested I get 3 tacos instead since they are small. They may be small, but they are filled with a generous portion of meat. I do have to warn you.. they are messy to eat... but oh so good! I decided on the 3 steak tacos. Hubby chose 2 steak and 2 shrimp. You have a choice of steak, chicken or shrimp. The steak was tender and seasoned well. Hubby enjoyed his shrimp tacos too. Said the shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. Once again, very generous on the portions. He is looking forward to trying their surf and turf burrito. He said it might even be worth taking me shopping again. Think I'll hold him to that! Thanks Bubba! Can't wait to come back and try your nachos.

Bubbas offers some of the best halal Mexican American food I've had in SoCal in some time. They're located in a very unassuming business park, with ample parking spaces. I ordered their 3 taco combo, with your choice of chicken, beef, or shrimp. It normally comes with beans and rice but I opted for fries instead. The beef was beautifully seasoned, with the perfect hint of spiciness. Thought the tacos were small, they were overloaded with beef (so I'm not complaining), onions, and cilantro. The fries were also freshly fried and soft inside. My friend ordered the beef burrito which was also loaded with the seasoned beef, rice, onions, and cilantro. Both dishes were perfect, and I will be returning soon!

All the tacos come with cotija, which some people may not like. The tortillas are single wrappers and tasty. They add a good amount of meat. Shrimp Tacos - Plump small/medium sized shrimp that are nicely seasoned. Beef Tacos - Too salty for my taste, but I can see other people liking them. If you're the type that adds salt to their street tacos, the seasoning is for you. Chicken Tacos - Good seasoning and my favorite overall. What gave this place a 4 star review is the onion rings. The onion rings took a long time and I think they forgot about it in the fryer. The waitress apologized for how long it took. It was over fried and horrible.

I must say this place is a Gem. I found the best torta in the IE. I had the torta de steak and chicken and it was delicious. Their ceviche felt fresh. To top it off,the service was on point. Let me start with the cashier Taylor is very nice and welcoming (keep it up) Bubba the owner thumps up for bubba, Asking us about the food about the experience here. My coworkers and agree that this was delicious. I'm very happy I came here. Definitely 5 stars. I will be coming back for sure.

10/10 EXPERIENCE!! Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by Taylor with a kind welcome, she educated me on the menu and suggested the Surf Turf Burrito (BOMB). She also let me know that they don't use pork only beef ! While I was eating the best burrito I've ever had, Taylor was wiping the tables and sweeping keeping the overall environment super clean! I got to meet bubba, and man knows how to make everyone feel welcomed, he's super down to earth and professional. He shared his passion for food and community.. overall was not expecting this great experience but 10000% worth the visit. Will be back soon!! read more

Wonderful spot in a non-descript business center. I think one of the best surprises is that, I was attracted to the IG page for this business; I was looking for a taco tuesday and the over the top energy of the owner was the draw. But when I got there, I got unreal politeness and hospitality from the very same man! Highly recommend; especially the shrimp tacos; shrimp were perfectly cooked and tender. Don't sleep on the salsa it's fire; delicious and spicy! read more

Today was my first time having Bubbas Tacos. First off, we walked in to order and were greeted by Bubba himself and the cashier who helped take our order. It was a big order and they were so cool and welcoming. Bubba actually told us to grab a couple sodas and kick back and he didn't charge us for the drinks. Most importantly, the food is amazing. I hardly leave yelp reviews, but it was delicious and I want to support small businesses. I got the Bubbas Burrito with grilled chicken and it was loaded with chicken. So bomb. Will 100% be back read more

The BEST halal tacos in the IE hands-down!!!!!!Discovered this gem of a place from a friend who had catered from Bubbas....the food had been such a hit that when I hosted my own party, I knew I had to cater from Bubbas. Bubba is truly an amazing human being - he genuinely cares both about his business and his customers. All of the employees of the restaurant go above and beyond to ensure that you are taken care of while dining as well, checking in frequently and asking if you need anything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is located in one of those industrial business places, but the inside and overall ambience is very chill, it's a vibe for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is phenomenal. I don't think I've ordered anything here that I did not enjoy. My family and I frequent this place weekly - one of us comes because we just love it that much. We were next door seeing the chiropractor and mentioned we were hungry and he suggested we try Bubba's. We were not disappointed. We got steak and chicken tacos. They were bomb. We will come back. The place got packed for lunch. Apparently everyone loves Bubba's. :) read more

Get this one on the bookmarks! What an awesome hidden gem! Among an unassuming row of businesses is this sporty chill hang out spot to enjoy tasty steak, chicken and shrimp tacos, onion rings, tots and one of the best tres leche cakes. Thank you friend. Greeted by bubba himself with a warm welcome, friendly and courteous as we snapped our pics. Awesome murals and decor. Leah took good care of us during our stay. Comfy booths with seating for large groups. Great to see a lunch rush non stop walking through these doors. Salsa & chipotle sauce is a must. Give that saucy kick. Bottled beverages only. Looked up this taco shop on google and we were not disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside the restaurant is very clean and decor is really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The front staff is very friendly young lady. The food itself was excellent so tasty and presentation you know Bubba put lots of pride in the presentation as soon as we opened up our to go order it was so well put together. I ate a taco before taking a pic lol I could not resist ! We will definitely come back again. We even came back to order another 6 tacos for my husbands lunch for work. I highly recommend! read more

The breakfast burrito appears a little pricey at first, but it's massive. It's filled with steak and the quality is excellent. The service was friendly and I really also enjoyed their roasted salsa. This is truly a hidden gem... from the service to the food. The owner Bubba and his daughter Aliah were such a pleasure. But the food.... Bubba's Tacos absolutely deserves all five stars. Bubba himself is an amazing caterer, and the quality of both the food and the service was outstanding. We had an unexpected issue at our venue and weren't able to have the food prepared onsite as planned. Without hesitation, Bubba stepped in, went back to his restaurant just 10 minutes away, prepared everything fresh, and returned within 30 minutes. Despite the chaos, all of the food was still served right on time. The tacos were excellent, the presentation was great, and the professionalism and kindness Bubba showed throughout the entire situation went far above and beyond. This place definitely blew my mind! 1st time having it, I ordered 3 tacos, Pollo, steak, and Alpastor! Alpastor, IMO, was.... ight, tender, juicy, but just really didn't catch my attention. The POLLO, oofff, where to begin??!?!?!?!!!!! The grilled Pollo had an encredible smoky notes to it, every bite (which was 3... or 2 bites) were juicy, not even the slightest potential to be dry!! Bubba's Tacos stays undefeated. I've been coming here for a while now and somehow it hits every single time. The food is always fresh, loaded, and super flavorful especially the shrimp and steak. Portions are solid too, so you definitely get your money's worth. Big bonus: it's halal. That honestly makes Bubba's even more elite because good halal taco spots are hard to find. Was googling Mexican Restaurants in the area and saw this place called Bubba's Tacos, and decided to give it a try. Talked to one of the employees there, told him it was my first time, and what do you recommend? He told the best seller was the surf & turf burrito, so I went with that. Let me tell ya I was not disappointed. This burrito was stuffed with asada, shrimp, rice, beans, all the fixings. I definitely recommend this place. Bubba's has just added a new customer. read more

Have been searching for a close by taco place ever since we moved here, and man am i glad i came across bubbas tacos! The food is great and service is exceptional, and the pricing is pretty fair too. We did have to wait a little bit because there were a lot of people on the day we went , but it's great to have a new favorite taco place read more
