Heard good things, our group not impressed. Lacks quality and service, many better choices for tacos locally

I had the pleasure of trying out this place and I must say that it was a HIT! I ordered their steak burrito and it was absolutely delicious. The size of the burrito was good. All the ingredients inside bonded together. Their homemade salsa was so freaking good. I drank my leftover salsa. The chipotle sauce was amazing. Service was great. You place your order at the register and find yourself a seat. The decor inside was pretty cool. Fan of the Kobe images. read more

***** check in for 10% OFF**** I had bookmarked the spot so I ordered as Bubba steak burrito and a surf and turf burrito for my husband. I ordered it with no onions his was no tomato onion or cilantro. If you pay with cash, you get a slight discount so I'll keep that in mind. however, they do take the card here. They packed it to go. Have us a chipotle aoili type sauce and green salsa. Chipotle had a simmering kick. Meat was juicy, not dry at all. A little tough to chew, but not overly. Had really good flavor as well. Rice softball same beans weren't watery. I hate when that happens! Overall pretty good to me! Hubby enjoyed his food too! He works nearby so die he'll be back again soon! read more

It can be deceiving to find a taco place in a business complex, but it worked well. We arrived a bit before the lunch hour and found easy parking. You can see from my and others' interior pics, there isn't a whole bunch of seating - so plan accordingly. Also this is a very casual dining place. As you can see in my menu pic, that the menu is limited, but what you can't see are that the flavors aren't. While we waited for our lunch we munched away on the Chips and Salsa, see my pic. We liked their salsa, it was earthy and a bit of heat. You can see the chips were fresh and very crunchy. We started with the street tacos: chicken and steak. As you can see from my pic, both were fresh and had 2 tortillas each. The tortillas held up well and didn't crumble. Both meats were flavorful and the onions added a nice crunch without being too strong. Check out my pic of the Shooter's Special. It was full of flavor. It really was surf and turf (shrimp and beef) and all the fixings. In this case, messy was a good thing. We finished with Bubba's Steak Burrito, see my pic. As you can see it is big. The beef flavor was good and all the ingredients melted together just right. read more

Food was beyond excellent and the service was amazing!!! Bubba came around and asked everyone sitting if they needed anything and you can tell he takes pride in his restaurant! Food came out quickly and was so good. I come here starving after being at work and in traffic, and they do not disappoint! Very nice and spacious inside with murals on the walls. Dropped my wife off at the airport and wanted to try something new. Saw this place on IG and some top taco spot lists for the IE. I came in around 2pm, it was slow and there was one person in line ahead of me. The service was solid, she was fast and attentive. It's Tuesday and tacos were $2 so I decided to stick with them and try them all. I came away very impressed. My favorite was the steak, it was very tender and flavorful. Unlike other taco joints where the best item is much better than the rest of the menu, both the chicken and shrimp were very good as well. The shrimp portion was incredibly generous! They had two sauces included for my 6 tacos. I kicked myself for not asking for more, but it ended up being plenty. The is a Ball brother mural in the place with a Big Baller logo as well. I figured they might be investors. I saw the owner hamming it up with some customers. While the place was not packed, there were a steady stream of people coming in and out. The exterior is pretty spartan. I almost missed it. I will for sure be back to try some more indulgent items. read more

Food is good unfortunately, I tried calling to change a order placed on Uber Eats so they don't and onions and they just said there is nothing they can do about it. The food was already made. It was just a burrito can't believe they wouldn't accommodate now I have to pay another 25 dollars for a new burrito. read more

Thank you to Bubba and his team for putting together such an amazing delivery order at the last minute for our office end of month meeting. The food prepared for our 30+ staff was fantastic. The compliments flowed all day and not a drop of food was left and extras were ordered and provided by Bubba. The food was so FLAVORFUL and the salsa was fire. Highly recommend! See you again soon! read more

This place was cool and the owner was chill, but the burritos were not it. Bubba's burrito- I gave this burrito a 5/10 because it seriously needed sour cream inside of it. The salsa on the side was delicious but I would enjoyed the addition of sour cream inside the burrito. Also the chicken was strange and a bit chewy. Cheesesteak burrito- 5/10 this burrito was way too heavy for me. Super greasy and just not meant to be within a burrito. I also feel like the meat overwhelmed the other flavors in this burrito. read more

Came here looking for something different and I definitely was impressed. The nachos were loaded with meat. So often there's filler with beans and other miscellaneous junk. The chipotle sauce on top was a nice twist. My son got the quesadilla combo and he said it was delicious, too. Lots of meat. Everything was really fresh and tasty. A little on the expensive side but the food was worth it. read more

I've gone to both Tacos Los Cholos locations to fulfill my keto requirements, but it's nice to know that I have a much closer option now thanks to Bubbas Tacos. I had the Surf and Turf taco keto style and a regular chicken taco, and both were really tasty. I enjoyed the flavor immensely, and the quality of the meats and shrimp was great. It's a pretty small place, and I came in at just the right time. It was completely full and fits maybe 30-ish people. I appreciate that the gentleman taking orders let everyone know that it was a 25-30 minute wait with how busy it was. There was a small ordering issue with a patron in front of me, but cashier was completely cool with fixing the order and making sure everything was correct. I did crack up at one of the ladies who was cooking and needed to clarify something with said patron, and she yelled "Hey!" a couple times before walking up to him. They did a great job of wiping down the tables after people left, and cashier guy asked us how we were doing and if we enjoyed the food once it died down. I also find it interesting that BBB is all over this spot. Does the Ball family own this spot? That aside, great food and really good service for a first time. I heard a couple other customers order and enjoy the surf and turf burrito. Might be worth a try for me one day. I'll definitely get my keto taco again next time. Enjoy if you go! read more

Bubba's Tacos in Ontario is tucked away in an industrial office neighborhood--definitely not where you'd expect to find some of the best tacos around. We were just looking for a quick bite before heading back to Orange County, tired of scrolling through Yelp, and decided to take a chance. Destiny answered the call. This place is outstanding. Every taco looked meticulously put together--super flavorful, Halal, and packed with care. Went for the surf and turf and two of each taco they had. The surf and turf burrito? Absolute perfection. Everything was balanced--the soft rice, the rich flavors, and I opted to have the beans on the side, which were so good I ended up just devouring everything. Bubba himself was in the house, and the guy is as welcoming as it gets. Super friendly, laid-back, and generous. The spot had this smoky umami aroma in the air, the walls were decked out with sports memorabilia, a big Kobe mural, and early 2000s R&B playing--the whole thing was a vibe. We got lucky with prime seating because the place filled up fast. Bubba mentioned he might be looking to open a location in Orange County--if that happens, it's game over. Will 100% be back, and next time, I'm bringing people with me. Don't sleep on Bubba's Tacos. read more

Visited this place on a recommendation of some of my local employees and it was a good choice. The food had good flavor and cooked well with good seasoning. The rice and beans had good flavor as well and overall were very tasty. As far the portion size, it was a little small for me. I come from Texas and even at other taquerias here in California, they typically serve 5 street tacos to an order. So for this to only have 3 tacos, left me a little hungry and wanting to have more. Overall the ambiance is a little small Starter restaurant with limited seating but good overall food and overall good customer service. This is a good place for food and would definitely come back. However wish they had bigger taco combos for those with bigger appetites. Pretty good place that is a good choice if you are in the area. read more

It's another "Take Your Wife to Work Day" Summer Edition 2023. Today I headed out with hubby to the UPS Hub Ontario. He was craving tacos so I found Bubbas Tacos and another taco place nearby. He chose Bubbas tacos when I read down the menu. We were just having a convo about chili cheese fries last night so when I said "loaded fries" he said we're eating here. This small hole in the wall place was inside a small plaza in an industrial area. Easy and open park I g right out front. When we arrived about 11:40 am, the place was already busy with some locals but there was no line to order your food. The female employee that took our order was friendly. The place had a cozy sports atmosphere with some sports pictures/murals on the walls. The soda machine was not working today but the female employee offered us a cup of ice and there were cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. We ordered the loaded fries with steak and chipotle sauce on the side (because hubby isn't too keen on mayo-based sauces). I was hoping to try the chipotle sauce on the side but they didn't give us any at all. No worries! I guess we'll have to come back another time. Our order came out fast, definitely less than 10 minutes. The meat was tender and cooked well with chopped onions. The roasted salsa was not hot or spicy but it had great flavor! I squeezed a little bit of lime on the loaded fries before stuffing our faces. Definitely a place to bookmark and come back for more good food. BTW... There are two all-gender bathrooms, which were very clean! read more

Had to come pick up parts at Subaru of Ontario, since it was already lunch time, I Yelped for some grubs before heading back to Arcadia. Bubbas Tacos came up and browsed the food pics, service and ambiance. With all the great reviews, I had to give it a try. And so glad I did. Got the surf and turf burrito, a bit pricey but since it looked so delicious, nothing could have stopped me. The girl who gave me my order was so friendly and cute. Had a 40-minute drive back, but all I think of was to tear into the burrito. Finally got back to our shop, opened up the box and had my first bite, man was that satisfying! I never had Halal food before, but it won't be my last time. So good, steak/beef was seasoned perfectly, shrimps were fresh and snappy. Everything was blended so nicely, I finished that bad boy in no time! Looking forward to getting more food next time I'm in the area! read more

By far the best place in county for shrimp and asada tacos. Although, small they are fresh, moist and very tasty and a lot of meat and shrimp to fill your tummy. Love Bubba's Place, the interior has a beautiful basketball mural as well as basketball memorabila. The unique flavors are unique to Bubba's style of cooking. My husband and I came here based on a recommendation. My husband ended up ordering their Surf n Turf burrito with a side of fries and I got the 3 taco combo with rice and beans and a drink. We called few minutes after they opened to place our order over the phone. The woman who took our order was friendly and patient with us as it was our first time ordering. The restaurant is located in more of an industrial area. They're in the west side of Milliken just south of Airport Rd. There's plenty of parking and they have indoor seating. As soon as I looked at my tacos, I knew I was going to be in a treat. I got the surf n turf tacos and they looked so flavorful. The fries my husband had were just made and super hot. All I can say is wow, just amazing and super flavorful. I'd definitely recommend their surf n turf tacos and burritos. The rice and beans were a little on the cold side though. We are already planning on coming back to try more menu items. The TA sandwich or even cheese steak may be next on our list . read more
