Second and last time visiting this place. If you're on a tight lunch break, don't waste your time here. I ordered 4 tacos and fries, thinking I beat the rush. Shortly after, a group of about 8 people walked in and placed their orders. I was relieved I got in before them--but it didn't matter. Somehow, they received their food before I did. I asked the cashier why their orders came out first, and she claimed they arrived before me. I told her I watched them walk in and place their orders after mine. She turned to the cook and asked about my food, only to find my tacos still sitting on the grill, untouched. I asked for a refund. Hidden little gem inside an industrial park. It was really good! I'm always on the hunt for a good crunchy taco and this place has them. I come to order food for my co-workers and being that this is a taco spot they all asked for different carne asada type of plates. I order & paid then I was told that they did not have any carne asada .. I changed my order after calling my coworkers then I'm told they have to cancel my order and charge me again because they owned me $4 which I would have just taken the cash. But whatever. After paying for my new order I'm told "hey if you still want carne asada we can cook it for you. Great little spot! Came here at about 12 on a Wednesday with my boss. We got an al pastor California burrito, 3 street tacos, and a fish taco. Everything was 5 star worthy!!! My burrito was HUGE. I mean like the size of my head (see pictures attached). The al pastor was tender, flavorful, and delicious as well as just the whole burrito. The fish taco was easily one of the best fish tacos my boss said he's ever had and the street tacos were great too. The restaurant is nice and the staff were kind and helpful. Jose took our order and he was amazing! Definitely an employee I'd want at my restaurant. He took time to answer my questions and made sure my food was done correctly to fit my dietary restrictions. We wanted some Taco Tuesday and ordered takeout, $1.50 each and they had carne asada, birria, carnitas, al pastor, pollo etc. The restaurant is at a corporate looking business center. The food came out real quick and it was still excellent after driving back home in 20 minutes. It looked like they had indoor and outdoor dining. We ordered 12 tacos for 2 people and we ordered 4 carne asada, 4 al pastor, and 4 birria. It was so good to eat with beer. I love that they have so much variety and combos compared to other restaurants. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos because they definitely stand out compared to the other tacos. The al pastor was good and the birria tacos were my least favorite out of what we ordered. Their red salsa is spicy and I always prefer salsa verde for the taste. Overall, great taco place with many other options. I look forward to ordering other items like their chile rellenos, burritos, wings, taquitos, and many more. Had the fish burrito, it was pretty good with fried lightly battered fish, chipotle sauce rice beans and green/red cabbage mix. I tried this place for the first time today and I was NOT disappointed! I was in the mood for a torta and the one I ordered with pastor scratched the itch! I also ordered a sope with asada - it was good, but I feel it could've been better. Not sure how, but with the quality of the ingredients... it was just missing that "something." Speaking of the quality of the ingredients, the meat at this place is delicious! The asada tastes like it came off the grill in the back yard, and the pastor had an amazing flavor! Decided to check this spot out because we visited the urgent care just a few units down for my husband's physical required for work. I actually tried ordering the California Burrito to split with my husband, but for some reason the guy misheard me. I didn't realize it until I bit into my burrito and found no fries in sight. I looked at my receipt and it just had the plain Burrito. Darn. So the plain Burrito was $7.95 (beans, rice, cilantro, onions) with your choice of meat, I had Carne Asada. A bit overpriced. To my surprise, as plain as it was, it was good. Nothing outstanding or special, but good. Easy to eat. The whole thing did not seem greasy at all. Carne asada was nice and tasty. I liked the ratio of the beans/rice/carne asada, and how the cilantro/onions were in the middle. It was wrapped nicely in foil and just the right width to enjoy eating on the go. No fuss. It's a regular-sized burrito for one person, NOT enough to share with someone. So my husband went back to order his own California Burrito for almost $10. It was a little bigger/heavier than the plain Burrito, having some fries in it. He agrees that it's good for what it is but nothing special. We tried both the green and red salsas, nice flavor but no kick at all, super mild. Thankfully on this beautiful day, we had good regular-sized burrito (a bit overpriced) at a random place we've never heard of before. Not complaining. read more
