I had never been here before, but a colleague recommended the food, so I decided to give it a chance. I'm a huge nacho fan, so of course I ordered the chicken nachos. I didn't look at the menu beforehand, I just pulled up to the speaker and ordered them. When they told me the total at the window, I was shocked. $20 for nachos, wow! I definitely wasn't expecting that, especially for a drive-thru spot. That was my first turnoff, and the long wait for the food didn't help either. But once I got back to work, sat down, and actually ate them... I was pretty happy. They were really good, some of the best nachos I've had. The seasoning on the chicken was on point, and the beans they use were great. The guacamole wasn't my favorite, but everything else on the nachos was wonderful. Are they worth $20? Ehhh... debatable. The only good thing here is the workers performance. They did the best they could being short staffed and were very nice. The food was mediocre at best. Pastrami tastes like grocery store pastrami. Fries were soggy and yuck. This will be my last visit at an Archibald's. prices go up quality has slowly degraded. Too many other places with better food for the price. read more

I hadn't been here in a long while, but decided to drop by for good ol breakfast burrito and soda. Breakfast burrito is relatively the same, decent size for average price. But why am I updating my review to 1 star? $5.14 for a large soda. What in the world? I understand if food prices go up, but for a soda to reach 5 bucks? I've never been to any fast food or fast-casual restaurant where a drink was 5 bucks. Don't forget, they charge a credit card fee. As much as their burritos are good, I'm sorry, I just can't support a business that has ridiculous price for just a soda on top of a credit card fee. Just my two cents, but if you are charging your customers to pay for your credit card fee, then customers should take their business elsewhere. I was craving DUI fries and what I got wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It had the bare minimum of chili cheese and it was dry. The size of portion wasn't too bad but they don't over fill it like Tams. Service was good and I felt welcomed. read more

Just went in for a quick bite to eat. The burger tastes very bland... has no seasoning; then we also ordered a sausage and egg omelette with white toast. The toast tasted burnt and stale at the same time. We waited at the drive-thru window for over 25 minutes in order for us to get our food. As we waited, we finished one of the drinks that they gave us. We asked for a refill and they gave us another soda half empty. Needless to say, we will not go back after our first and only visit. The front of the house staff was good--great customer service. I don't know about the back of the house staff. Just know that we will not go back again. Thanks for the experience I guess. What a joke. Nobody in the restaurant and even asked if everything was there, nope get all the way home missing items and not made right. You woukd think driving all the way back and spending 67 dollars they would of given me a fresh order, Nope. This place used to be the best around. Now it has gone down bad. Nobody there cares. This would be this second time I've visited Archibalds the first time was Hella bad, I ordered tacos and when I got the order it was super oily, I took 2 bites and threw away the other. Fast forward many years later, I wanted to give them another try since the restaurant always seems busy. Got the big combo for like $17 after tax and was it worth it? Not really, the fries could've been hotter and chicken strips fried harder. I probably wouldn't give them another vist. Try Farmer Boys! I haven't been to this place in 4 years. Today I stopped by for a cheeseburger and fries. I have to admit the fries are really good. A small order was $5. They're very seasoned and crispy. However the cheeseburger was disgusting. It's literally a patty warmed up in a microwave. No grill marks no charcoal. Went in recently after having avoided this place since I first moved into the area six years ago, and was pleasantly surprised. I just ordered the half price zucchini on happy hour, and it was solid. The lady serving me was awesome. The specials they have throughout the week like taco Tuesday or the family pack are pretty solid values. They also have a chips and salsa bar that is self serve while you wait for your food. Massive plus. What turned me off initially was the pricing for the amount/quality of food that they served. Now, in 2024, it seems like everything and anything is grossly expensive when it comes to food, so this place doesn't stand out as being massively overpriced like it used to. I'll probably come back to try some more options like the taco Tuesday or the family pack and post an update. It seems like it's definitely improved a bit. read more

1st time here. Surprised they have a DUI on their menu, the only other place I know is Jim's off Telegraph in Pico that has that. Gotta say ...not too bad. Was hoping the fries will make the meal better, however, the fries look like they were fried in old oil, because the fries were dark brown and black. Lastly, the fries did not have any seasoning, nor did it have salt at a minimum to disguise the horrible taste. My girlfriend ordered the chicken salad and she said it was... Blah! Pulled into drive thru and was told to wait a moment....10 minutes later I was saying "hello" (must have said it 4 times within a span of a few minutes) and then she finally came on and said "Are You ready to order?" My reply "I've been waiting here for 10 minutes already waiting on You since you said to Hold on. She took My Order and I pulled up to the window, she range me up and again I waited another 10 minutes to get my order. I shouldn't Have to wait in a drive thru for 20 minutes to get food when the 3 previous cars in the drive thru were Long Gone by the time I pulled up to the window. I tried the Denver with Cheese Omelet at Archibald's Drive Thru in Ontario and was very pleased. I had a dine-in experience and I really liked the sports themed ambiance, the various jerseys hanging all over the numerous walls and other multi-sports memorabilia on display. My omelet was served quickly and the customer service was nice. There's a large parking lot and the place has two large dining areas. I ordered the Wet burrito all chicken and it came with green salsa, cheese, and chips.
