It's one of the only major chain resturants in the area (Prosper). I placed a to go order. I ordered the ribeye medium well, but they cooked it well. Which is okay, all the butter they put on top didn't allow for it to be dry. I also had the southwest eggrolls which could have been a little crisper (cooked more), but that was ok too. We had to heat up the queso and cheese fries in the microwave because it was cold and we threw away the salad completely because it looked gross. I love chili's. Usually. Went with my son around 1:45pm on a Saturday. It took 55 min from when we ordered to get our food, pasta and quesadillas (is there an easier order). By then we had to go so I asked to get it to go. Once we got home and I opened my food, the chicken on my chicken pasta was badly scorched and burned. Amazingly disappointing considering we went after our workout and I actually ordered extra chicken and was charged an extra 6.00 for a that. My sons food was fine so I gave two stars instead of one. Hopefully this new place corrects these new location growing pains soon. read more

We called. Couldn't get the to-go team to pick up. Called the "all other" line which picked up immediately. The person said the to-go order would be adjusted to our arrival. OH MY LORD the place was crazy with high school kids with no adults and acting like idiots. A LARGE table screaming at the top of the voices, celebrating something, but no manager came over to tell them to quiet down even after i asked 2 different employees if the manager was going to say anything. one said, no, she is just standing over there watching. They were stacking cups on the table, tossing food to others, We were almost seated right near but ia asked to be far away, so then 2 tables of kids sat next to us. Not seated, just started coming in and sitting waiting on others and it ended being 2 tables of boys, not adults, boys, 16-18 ish. I told them to calm down a couple of times. SAD to see how many families that were being subjected to this kind of behavior and treatment from the management. Went to dinner on New Year with hubby and I was fortunate to have Summer as our server. She mentioned that she was in training but I think she is very ready for the job. Very professional and stayed cool under pressure, honestly the reason why i gave this place a 5 star review. The place was packed and yet Summer greeted us with a warm smile even though I'm sure she is very worn out from everything. We had to find our servers in order to get help, they forgot to make my husbands meal, so we told them.... it took them 20 minutes to bring it out. The rest of us were all finished our meals by then and ready to leave. They didn't even apologize! The food is decent. Stopped by this location on a Friday night with the family as a alternative to waiting an hour at the Texas Roadhouse a few doors down. When we arrived, the host was not friendly at all - no greeting, no smile. Okay, off to a poor start. . . We were seated and given our menus. I was surprised to see that Chili's menu selection has been reduced so much. Before they used to have a good selection of items, but now, just salads, burgers, some barbecue items, steak and somethings that are supposed to be tacos(?). I know this is a national chain, but the menu seems odd considering you can get a better steak at Roadhouse for the same price better BBQ in several places close by. Waitress came by to take our drink and food order. Again, no smile and not friendly. All together, we ordered three burgers ( 2 mushroom Swiss and one chili burger) and a kids meal with pizza. All of us thought the burgers were bland and pink inside. We weren't asked how we wanted them cooked so expect them to be well done not medium! This was just a bad experience so I'm glad you can just check out and pay through the tablet on the table. Did so and got out as fast as we could. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things and the steaks and BBQ are fantastic, but I honestly don't see that being the case here in TX. Nope, this place has gone down hill fast! We stopped in here thinking we would get the same consistent flavors and food from some of the other better Chili's but were sadly disappointed and sent along a disaster route with multiple ruts along the way. We were seated rather quickly and it seemed like the evening was going to be enjoyable. Deception masters level 5. We already had an idea on what we wanted and thought we were lucky because we had a free guacamole coupon. We ordered the chips and salsa and the free guacamole to start off with. Then we ordered some Chili's 1975 soft tacos and the Trio Fajitas. We heard Chili's had made some improvements on there fajita plates making them bigger and the burgers making them tastier. Well our chips arrived...cold..and stale. Hmm, not a good start and the free guacamole I guess was scooped out of the "free" guacamole side because they tried to disguise the "going bad" brown section of our guacamole side with some chips sticking out of it hoping we wouldn't notice or think its the same as the green healthy looking side. We stopped our server and made the necessary comments, received an apology and some explanation regarding the cooks and it being late or slow. Round 2 on our chips and guacamole turned out better and started to satiate our cavernous hunger growing by the minute. Our Chili's 1975 soft tacos arrived and weren't really impressive being scoops of chili on room temperature tortillas. Just average and enough to get us to the next rut. Thump thump thump...that's my stomach at the current moment in this story. The Trio Fajitas arrived and they had the recognizable sizzle that we were used too but something about the bleached white chicken started to throw us off. Chicken is supposed to have some color especially if it's grilled and tossed with other fajita items. This chicken had this sort of "I'm slightly radioactive" glow to it and it was way to easy to bite into. The shrimps lacked in flavor and size, might as well have given me some popcorn shrimp from that other place, at least I would have recognized it as something with flavor. The main event of the plate, the skirt steak looked a little better then the glowing chicken but the flavors were bland and dull. We again waived our server over and she looked at the plate, even tasted one of the skirt steak slices and again apologized and mentioned the good cooks had gone home already or something like that. So again, thump thump thump. My stomach has hit some more ruts along this perilous road to a disappointing dinner. We discussed our options with our server and ended up ordering something we hoped the B-team cooks could accomplish : Honey chipotle chicken crispers. This is usually our go to order as it has all of the textures we are looking for and it's an easy to make and easy to eat meal. Well it arrived in a decent amount of time and cutting into one of the crispers I noticed a texture I was oddly familiar with. It happened about 3 years ago at a pizza place, I made the mistake of ordering their chicken wings. This same texture in the supposed to be well done crispers was the same as the chicken wings that had me hugging the toilet for 2 days because of the under-doneness of the chicken. So at this point we decided to cut our losses, settled our check and made a quick escape before we were somehow poisoned or cut by the napkins..not even sure that's possible but from the disappointing experience we just had, I wouldn't put anything past this night. Let me start by saying that the food was nothing to write home about, but it wasn't inedible. It was typical Chili's food. This review gets 1 star for the horrible service. Last night, we got together with my sister and her family and ordered Chili's takeout for the 7 of us. My sister placed the order over the phone, and when she ordered my black bean fajitas (an item off the menu), the woman on the phone got an argumentative tone with her and said, "We don't have that." My sister, thinking perhaps they had run out of the item, said, "It was on the menu. Do you not have that tonight?" The woman answered, "No, it's not on the menu. We only have vegetable fajitas." My sister replied, "I'm looking at the menu right now, and it says, 'Black Bean Vegetable Fajitas.'" The woman retorted, "That's what I said. Vegetable Fajitas." Are you kidding me?! What's the point in arguing with your customer like that? Pretty rude, if you ask me. We were promised it would be ready at 7:10, so my sister went to pick it up. She got home at 7: 53. It's about a 5-minute drive to her house from Chili's. When she got home, she was pretty upset. Apparently, one customer told her he had been waiting for his to-go order for over an hour, while another customer got so upset that she just left without her food. When my sister and the other customer told a young man working there how long they had been waiting, he simply replied, "Oh." Oh?! Really? Do these people have zero customer training??? When they handed my sister the order, my black bean vegetable fajitas were not in there. My sister told the woman working the counter, "We didn't get the black bean fajitas," to which the woman retorted, "I told you on the phone we don't have those," then turned around to retrieve a bag behind her and handed it to my sister without another word. Inside the bag? Vegetable fajitas with a black bean patty on top. Just like on the menu. My husband had ordered a black bean burger with pepper jack cheese on top and no other toppings and a side of broccoli. When my sister checked it, there was no cheese on the patty. She told the person working the counter, who replied, "We don't have pepper jack cheese." That would have been nice to know when we ordered it on the phone! So my sister said, "Well, then, any kind of white cheese will work." The burger got sent back. When we got home, my husband found that he had a black bean burger with YELLOW cheese, mustard, and pickles (they added stuff when the burger got sent back???) and a side of French fries. Unreal. There were other things wrong with the order (no ranch dressing, etc.), but the main point is that we are far beyond new-store hiccups. This is a customer service issue, and it doesn't seem isolated with one bad apple. Train your employees or show them the door. We don't deserve to be treated like crap. read more

My experience at the chilies in prosper was absolutely phenomenal! The food and staff specifically Brook were amazing. She was very attentive and met every request! She showed exemplary skills in managing not only her tables but also the bar! Any question we had she answer throughly. her service was quick yet personal! She made sure our food was hot and made to perfection! Not once did we feel rushed! Her kindness truly showed. Brooke is an exceptional server! Not only was Brooke and other staff amazing so was management! John remembered my family after not coming to this restaurant in months! John ensured my family felt welcomed. Not only did he remember my family but also the NGO my aunt had started! John went above and beyond to ensure the experience was amazing. This care was shown not only to us but the other patrons! He is an amazing manager who knows how to work with his staff and customer. This experience was wonderful, quality and fast service for an amazing price! I absolutely love the steak Fajitas. I get them a few times a month. I am a big fajita fan and yours are about, if not THE best fajitas I've had. That being said, the Chili's in Prosper, TX needs some work. My wife is on crutches and we requested a booth as it's easier for her to sit in a booth. So the two at the front seated us as far away from the door as possible making her walk (just barely) instead of a booth close to the door. After we walked all that way to the table asking for a closer booth along the way, the young lady only then asked if we wanted a table closer to the door. So was sat where we were, we were already there. Then when we opened the silverware bag, both knives and a fork were really disgusting, like the went through the dish washer without water. I have to say the waiter did a standup job getting us our drinks and food and answering a question about a menu item. I hope this restaurant does a better job thinking about the customers and sanitation. I would hate to miss out on my fajitas. read more

We go once a week to this location and I always get the fajitas for $10.99. They aren't the best but a decent value for that price. Tonight they were not very good at all... and were $16.49!!!! That is OUTRAGEOUS for that quality! They don't even come out sizzling! I asked the waitress and she said the promotion ended last week. Well that would have been good to know. She said there's a little sticker indicator on the back of the menu. I can get a steak nextdoor at the Texas Roadhouse for only $12.49 and it's a lot more food and the quality is better. I think most reviewers are way too harsh. This restaurant is brand new as is the majority of the staff. EVERYONE in town descends on them at the same time and the staff is deluged. We tend to go early, sit in the bar and are not in a rush. We have found the servers to be delightful and go out of their way to be helpful. I've seen the mad rush of crowds at dinner time and most seem annoyed from the gitgo that the place is so crowded. Until there are more choices in Prosper everyone should take a chill pill and be more understanding. read more
