Seriously I was excited to get a restaurant that wasn't Mexican food. This is probably my 4th trip to this Chili's and every time it has been horrible! I keep trying to give it a chance but after tonight I'm done! Stay away... they are out of food... no customer service...and on top of it all a server nailed me in the back of the head with her tray. After having twins a few weeks ago we have been doing a lot of curbside pickup. Every time there are small issues but tonight was horrible. We ordered at 6pm for pickup at 6:25. Husband arrives at 6:15ish and there is no curbside to go parking available and it appears that the cars parked there were dining in. Anyways, walk in and for 20 minutes they tell me they can't find my order and then they find it where it apparently had been sitting the entire time. We asked them to remake it and we finally get home at 730 and our food is burnt, not hot and appeared to have just warmed up the original order that had been sitting there. I ordered curbside Togo online and not only was my order NOT ready when I arrived but I had to go inside to pick it up after waiting for almost 15mins in my car watching a couple other people walk in & out. Don't be fooled by a couple early bad reviews here people. This is a new restaurant in Prosper, we don't have many here yet so yes it might be crowded, you might have to wait and the staff is new as well. My wife and I have been here now four times and prior to that we haven't been to a chili's in about two years. The menu has changed and the food is really good! The bar is great! I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give 0. We were told 10-15 minutes and at 30 minutes, we left . There were tables that could have been bused but no one was cleaning the tables. Then at 25 minutes waiting, we saw an employee trying to bus a large table (we're a family of 5) in one trip and he didn't wipe the table. Then he came to us and asked if we were the family of 5. All of this happened after we asked to speak to a manager and no manager ever came up. Even the hostess was shaking her head after she went back for the second time to try and get a manager. We left because after all of this , we look at the people who were at a tables and they all looked frustrated without drinks and food. We ended up going to Salsa Tex Mex and got served right away with chips and salsa and drinks. read more

The atmosphere is nice, although a bit loud. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. My wife has a milk allergy and the system at the table made it easy to determine what was safe. Appetizer was quickly delivered and hot. Food was slow to come out. Mine was Luke warm at best and had the wrong side. My daughter's pasta was slightly warmer. There was last minute confusion over the safety of the meal my wife received, both on the main course and side. Waitress took it back to be remade, although it was actually ok. Took so long that we hade finished the other plates a good 10 or 15 minutes before my wife's meal arrived. Ultimately, she could not eat - Chicken was under cooked, broccoli undercooked, corn undercooked. Manager did pay for the meal. We're unsure if it's worth a second try. read more

I have not liked Chili's for a long time and then this one opened in our small town and I am so impressed with the food and the service. So if you have the same experience as I have in the past do not let it keep you from trying the new place out. The food is really good here, The wings are amazing we've actually had many things on the menu not one of them was bad. If you sit in the bar area the bartenders have great personalities, and the happy hour menu is awesome. It's a bonus that you can order a refill on your kiosk or anything you want for that matter and not having to wait if they were busy. read more

Worst experience ever at Chili's. First, our chips & queso came out before our water. Salad was delivered with no dressing. (Couldn't ask waitress for it because she never came by) Then, both of our entrees were delivered wrong. When the entrees were brought back fries were cold. We continually had empty water glasses. Our waitress, Vanessa, was somewhat rude and never apologized for any of the issues. Not to mention, the people at the table next to us waited at least 15 minutes before they were even greeted at their table by the same waitress. Bad experience!!!! This Chili's is an absolute dumpster fire disaster. It doesn't matter what day you go, what time of day you go, etc. They are always incredibly unorganized, terrible service, rude and just generally downright unbearable. I would drive to a Chili's as far down as Waco before I would ever frequent this dumpster fire again. I've tried 3 times now since it's close to my house and each time is as inadequate as the time before. Management, please for the love of god do everyone a favor and close this mess of an establishment. This place is absolutely horrible. Long waits with tons of open tables (and yes, I saw the sign saying dining room only seating to 50% capacity, but they seat much less), you wait a minimum of 20 minutes after seating for a waiter to take your drink order, and then another 20 minutes to see your waiter again to take your food order. Then half an hour to get your food which is always prepared wrong. Please do everyone a favor and close down!! read more

Went to a different chili's location from this one tonight. I was astounded at how much the locations differ. This locations food is below average compared to the one I experienced tonight! Their steaks are wimpy for the price you pay, the garlic pasta I get never comes with bread, and I never even knew it came with cheese until the better location had it! Called and they legitimately messed up the order and had no care in the world that it was incorrect. When we don't have a lot of options available yet in Prosper, first impressions matter. Brand new location! As we pulled up I noticed there was plenty parking and very busy as we walked in at 6:30pm on a Friday night. They told us it would be a 20-25 minute wait but we waited less than 10 minutes. Staff was super friendly and food was great. Worst experience in casual dining. Arrive around 6:30 to a resturant maybe 1/3 occupied. Four of us walk in and hostess said it would be a minute while she wiped the table down. We got to the table and saw many booths empty and asked we if could have one, of which we were told she would have to wipe it down and we said okay. She had us come back to front of the store took our name and said we would have to wait outside (it was quite cold out) while she wiped the table down and took our number to text us when ready. No one else was waiting to eat. We went to car andI wanted to leave but my friends said lets stay. One minute later I get text for our table. The exact amount of time it took to wipe first table when we first arrived. I questioned it and was told it was company policy due to COVID and they wanted everything clean. We ordered, severs were nice, food mediocre, I went to men's restroom to wash my hand only to find dirty bathroom floor and over flowing waste basket of dirty paper towels. Walking back to table I noticed food, paper and wrappers all around the floor, about a 20 step walk. The final straw was the informal stupid way you pay through a dumb black box at the end of the table that didn't work and when we asked waitress she just took the one from the table across (where people had just left and that table hadn't been cleaned yet). She re-programed it to our table and we paid. If Chili's was really worried about us and others the restrooms and floors and informal stupid pay machine would be clean. Visited this location today and had poor service and order was incorrect. Service was due to understaffing and was told repeatedly how they were too busy. But never had our drinks refilled or bottomless chips and salsa, despite requests. Steak was chewy and overcooked and sides were missing, had to ask. Never saw a manager or I would have complained more. Obviously, management is the main problem. read more

Put our name on the list to wait for a table, was told 20 minutes, their live waitlist showed us next in line for over 20 minutes, while in the process they sat FIVE tables, parties the same size or just below ours. We have been at least a dozen time since this location has opened. It is always clean, and the service is always great! We rarely have to wait for a table, even though you would expect it to be packed by the number of cars in the parking lot. Food is better than many other locations in the area, I would recommend the Prosper chili's over the Frisco (Hwy 121) location, and say it's comparable to the Mckinney (Custer Rd.) location read more

I do not recommend this chili's. We sat there and waited an hour for our food and some other people came and got there food about 20 minutes before ours. When we ordered, my dad asked for melted cheese on it and then when we got it, it was shredded cheese. My mom ordered Ribs and they weren't even fresh, they were reheated! My mom and dad addressed it and they tried to offer them 5 free kids meals. It was really sad since it was my dads birthday and they kind of ruined it. This place is hit or miss. We have been 4 or 5 times and sometimes great, other times absolutely terrible. Service has been great, the staff is very friendly, and responsive. Our main issue is the consistency of the food, need better processes in the back of the house for sure. Avoid Chili's. Been stopping at this particular location almost weekly since it opened. Drop into the bar and watch some sports. Not anymore. Told today that Chili's has a company policy to not show violent sports on the bar TVs. No UFC. Even though I've sat in this same spot and watched many a fight. Hockey is cool. Just no boxing or UFC. You have got to be kidding. This is our last meal at any chili's. read more

We went about 2:30 on weekday afternoon so it was not busy at all. maybe 4-5 tables. No smile, no greeting from hostess, just asked how many in our party and led us to the table. after waiting between 5-10 minutes with no one coming to our table to even acknowledge us much less get drink order, i flagged down hostess to ask if she could find our server. hostess says "she is probably busy taking an order". server finally came so we had already had plenty of time to read menu and decide what to order. i can totally understand this when a restaurant is busy but there were very few customers at all, i waited tables for 8 years and am usually very understanding with service issues. Some time later, when i thought our food would be arriving any minute, i asked server if i was going to get my dinner salad first. she looked at her pad and said" well you didn't specifically request it to come out before your meal". i was quite shocked by her response. normally the dinner side salad does come out before entree. have never had to "specifically request" this at any restaurant. she could have simply said she would go check on it. no need for snotty reply. on a positive note: the food was good. i am not an idiot and know i can pay the bill via the kiosk on the table but i was paying with cash so when i asked server for check, she just tapped her finger on the kiosk. i told her i don't think it does cash transaction. poor service definitely out weighed the good food. read more
