We went about 2:30 on weekday afternoon so it was not busy at all. maybe 4-5 tables. No smile, no greeting from hostess, just asked how many in our party and led us to the table. after waiting between 5-10 minutes with no one coming to our table to even acknowledge us much less get drink order, i flagged down hostess to ask if she could find our server. hostess says "she is probably busy taking an order". server finally came so we had already had plenty of time to read menu and decide what to order. i can totally understand this when a restaurant is busy but there were very few customers at all, i waited tables for 8 years and am usually very understanding with service issues. Some time later, when i thought our food would be arriving any minute, i asked server if i was going to get my dinner salad first. she looked at her pad and said" well you didn't specifically request it to come out before your meal". i was quite shocked by her response. normally the dinner side salad does come out before entree. have never had to "specifically request" this at any restaurant. she could have simply said she would go check on it. no need for snotty reply. on a positive note: the food was good. i am not an idiot and know i can pay the bill via the kiosk on the table but i was paying with cash so when i asked server for check, she just tapped her finger on the kiosk. i told her i don't think it does cash transaction. poor service definitely out weighed the good food. read more

This location failed on all fronts. Once we got seated it took some time before our drink order was taken but not too long. But took us about 15 mins to get our drinks once we gave our order. When we received our drinks we got 5/7. When our waitress showed up 10 mins later to take our order we had to ask for our remaining drinks. We ordered an appetizer and were given no plates to share our appetizer, we asked for a dressing and were never given our dressing. And all of this was not great but what really put it over the top was the 30+ minutes it took to get our food. When we put in the order I said if the kid's food is done first please bring it out. But when we got our food we got all meals but two children's meals. Plus when I asked the server how much longer the food would take as we were ready to pay for our drinks and app and leave, she responded with, "They are traying it now but you know its Saturday." I do not think that is an acceptable way of thinking in this industry!!! When the food arrived the food was at best so-so. I hope for better! We will not be back! read more

Tried to dine in on 12/14. Checked the app and it reported no wait so online checkin was not available. Arrived at the restaurant less than 5 min later and there was a 45 min wait. I informed the hostess of what the app said and her response was "yeah the app typically doesn't work on Friday nights." It was upsetting we couldn't wait that long but more upsetting was the staff knows of this issue and basically doesn't care to fix it. read more

Decided to give the new restaurant a try. We waited about 15 minutes before someone came over to our table. My husband ordered a beer and I had a tea. He got his beer. We waited and waited. We finally had to go ask for the tea. It took a while to get our order taken. The food was mediocre. After our food was delivered, we never saw anyone again. Needless to say, we will not be returning. read more

This chili's is so amazing and delicious! As a local restaurant I find many friends and families here. The most wonderful thing about it is the serloin! The juices that come from it can be used to season the loaded mashed potatoes the can come with it! I give it five out of five for great service and food. read more

My friends and I frequent Chili's at least twice a week. However, we always go to a different location, the one in Custer and 121 to be exact. Today for some reason we decided to come to this location. We were greeted by a host that immediately told us that they were understaffed and that the food was going to take about an hour for our food to come out, we didn't care because we have all worked in the food industry before so we understand how the restaurant business work. The reason that I'm giving this location a one star is because they said that our ID's were fake and they weren't going to serve us which is not the case, we are all old enough. However, the disrespect that we received from the staff that threw the ID's in the table to the manager on duty that after we offered call the cops so they could verify our age she said, I don't care, you can call them but you are not getting served" and pretty much asked us out of the restaurant. I don't know what kind of business this is but in my years working as a server I would have never treated a guest like that. Totally disrespectful. We have already contacted Michael, the regional manager with our situation, regardless the service is this place is trash. Wouldn't recommend anyone choosing this location. read more

My husband and I had a fantastic lunch there today. Our server Shonda was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed our experience and the food was better than any chili's I have been to. We were greeted or waited on by at least 7 people and all of them were really personable. The bartender was definitely one of our favorites and the guy with the awesome mustache. We are thrilled to have such a great place to grab lunch in Prosper. Awesome staff!! read more

Decided to go out to eat on a Tuesday night. There was no wait, but they seemed busy. Food was mediocre at best, but took forever. 40+ minutes for a burger, chicken sandwich, a salad and a kids meal. Wait staff, while nice, didn't seem to care much. Half of order was cold probably waiting on other half. Best they could do was say "sorry". We decided to give it a try since it is so close to us. It was New Year's Eve and we went early and not many customers were there. Our server Lauren was terrific and desperately wanted to do good job. The experience wasn't horrible but I would put it in the mediocre category. For as empty as the restaurant was it was extremely slow in getting our food. The fries were lukewarm and the broccoli was lukewarm almost cold. I guess I would have expected everything to be hot considering the wait. I think they have some kinks to work out. read more

I was told 30 minutes when i called ahead. I got here 20 minutes later and waited 30 additional minutes, even though tables were available. I was told that putting a high chair at the end of this table was a fire hazard. I don't think I will ever come here again. read more

Still have not fixed the service and management problems. This Chili's is trying a new way to take care of customers. They have drink runners, food runners, and waitstaff only job is to take your order. It just doesn't work. Today 1st round of drinks were slow to get to us. Then just set on the corner of table for us to distribute.. refills were non existent unless waitress waived/flagged to our table. Food came out slow. Then only 21/2 of the 6 orders came. One of the 21/2 sandwich was room temperature...Not warm.....Room temperature. Returned the room temperature chicken sandwich when the rest of the tables food came out. Kids were billed for their drinks even when they ordered off kids menu. Waitstaff joshing around with service manager in corner of dining room entire visit. 0-4 attempts with this Chili's. Talked to manager again and only an apology from her. Love Chili's chain but going to have to drive further away to one with the traditional style of taking care of guest. read more

We 5 sat down. Some ordered drinks, others water. How do you mess up a water order? Too many arrived. No prob. It's just water. We waited and waited and waited. One ordered small salad ...came out early. Other small salad ordered did not. Waited, waited. Missing waitress. Finally, Food served. One sandwich/onion rings combo totally cold. Sent back. Others were HAPPY! Side touch of onions etc for Chile didn't arrive until one bite left in bowl even though they were re-requested twice. No offer for table catsup....didn't see waitress to request. 4 finished meals .... meal sent back still did not arrive. Cancelled it. IMG. Mgr apologized and adjusted bill. It was a Holiday family meal out .... and I am not happy that the dialogue involved beyond HORRIBLE Service and unacceptable cold food .... instead of fun holiday chat. What should have been fun... was not! No discount on the bill is worth HORRIBLE service. You can do better Chili's read more
