I live Chili's - especially when I want to grab a casual, affordable snack with no pretentious surroundings. However, my most recent visit was definitely lacking in the customer service and satisfaction department! Had my server been double or triple-seated, I might have been understanding about the amount of time it took for her to take our orders. In this instance, they minutes from the time we were seated to the time we placed our drink order was just a dealbreaker. We actually considered leaving, but due to it being a long day, we decided to just hang in there. Another 20 minutes or so after receiving our drinks, we were actually able to place our order, which was a very simple one. Finally received our meal after approximately an hour and a half after we were seated. There was a manager on staff who was standing around in the doorway to the kitchen, just laughing and cutting up with random employees. Our server, Allison, was just as aloof and spent much more time socializing with her coworkers than actually doing her job. The only saving grace for this visit was that once the food finally came, it was good. Please do something to fix this before your reputation suffers. read more

They BLAST the TV I am deeply disappointed in this Chili's and will not be going back to this or any Chil's. There were two main problems (1) The atmosphere When I arrived, the atmosphere was the volume of a normal restaurant as one would expect. Loud conversations, maybe music playing in the background. But after half an hour, they started BLASTING the audio from a basketball game. It was so loud I could barely focus on my conversation. I asked the waiter if the volume could be lowered and he said no. I didn't leave because I'd already ordered my food. What I was NOT told, and did not figure out until I was ready to leave and went to use the restroom, was that there was a whole other section of the restaurant where the game was not blasting! This fact should have been shared with me by the waiter, rather than having my evening ruined by the loud echoing of basketballs and tv commercials! (2) The service After our food was brought out, the waiter never came by to check on us or refill water. He even came to the table next to us, and I did not try to get his attention because I assumed that we would be next, but then he walked off, ignoring us!! I waited probably 30-40 minutes for him to come by with the check. I finally tracked him down at another table. He said the check was on our table, which I was confused by because he hadn't brought it. Then he explained that there is a device on the table that you put your credit card in. I should have been informed of this at the start of the evening, or certainly when he visited the table for the last time before ghosting/ignoring us! I don't think it's fair to expect that patrons are regulars and know these things. I am giving this review 2 stars instead of one because some of the food was decent, although certainly not great. PS. This place is NOT gay-friendly. I (lesbian who looks like a lesbian) kept getting stares in the women's restroom. We ordered the Party Platters from this location. My only complaint is that they didn't not provide a ton of "silverware". The rice and beans were also only about 1/2 full so not everyone was able to get some. I don't think those sides are equal to the meat they provide. As far as the food, the large was enough to feed 14-16 people so we were pleased. The meat was pretty good, not super moist but hot terrible either. The sliders were a hit with everyone. The meat was good and so was the seasoning/toppings they apply. We will use them again for another event. read more

Waitstaff behind the bar is unattentive. It was 6+ minutes after I sat down before either acknowledged my presence. When my order arrived, I had to ask for napkins, and a knife which one of the waitstaff provided without drying his hands. It wasn't until I was half-way through my meal that I was able to get any ketchup. When I sat down, the dishes from some previous patrons had not been cleared, and they remained there almost for the entire time I had been there. The location in Prosper is even worse than the one in Frisco. Just one more experience that is abysmal, at best, post Chinese flu. How places where the service is this poor stay in business is beyond me. The manager ought to be ashamed. read more

The host was incredibly gracious to us. When our table was ready, we just had to wait for about 15 minutes. After we placed our order, our kind server vanished. Though the food was tasty, good luck getting your server to pay attention to you. Nothing in this place will astonish you. With more than 1,600 restaurants in 31 countries and two territories across five continents, Chili's was founded in Dallas in 1975! (In case you didn't know, now you know.) This specific location opened within the last few weeks. On today's visit we had their Honey Chipotle Crispers & Waffles, and they are delicious, but the waffles are TOO sweet, great deal for just $11.49 because the portions are very generous and the French fried were cooked to perfection! My husband and I split this dish and it was plenty for the two of us. I had to order a side of their delicious avocado ranch and some pickled jalapeños because the waffles were over powering the chicken. I highly recommend you try this dish bc it's different, but if you are like us and don't care for overly sweet stuff, then this is not for you. Next time we will just order something else, but this was a nice treat. They also have a similar dish but you get corn and you get to pick the type of dressing. Plus they give back to the community and they launched a unique program, called Women Take The Lead, which provides customized training, mentorships and assess to outside resources such as the Women's Food Service Forum. It is a chain similar to applebees and you get what you pay for. I do enjoy their all day happy hour on sundays but I found that the food has been extremely mediocre. Their boneless wings always come out soggy and I wasn't impressed with their burger either. When I do come in, it's to take advantage of some quiet time at the bar to unwind and have a couple of their yummy margaritas which are generously priced during hh.
