Came here to enjoy Texas fries and a cocktail for happy hour. The bar waitress was very nice and welcoming. The ambiance was chill it's Manhattan beach anyway. Fast casual chain with a Tex-AmEx theme located in the Manhattan Beach Mall. Came here with a group of 9 and we waited about 20 minutes on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm prior to getting a table. Indoor dining only. They have bar seating and that's where happy hour all day on the weekends is valid. Credit cards accepted. It's a family friendly spot. We only ordered drinks and apps here, and we had an order of the Texas fries, hand battered chicken crispers with honey mustard, and the triple dipper (where you choose any three). We chose the BBQ chicken crispers, the mozzarella sticks, and Southwestern egg rolls. It's standard American food and it's all quite salty, but the prices are cheap so it makes sense. We did need to ask for water/extra utensils and plates multiple times. They do have beer on tap and they have hard seltzers/cocktails too. read more

This Chili's was great, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our waiter, Steve was amazing. He had great options to order, was very accommodating with regard to allergies and was pleasant and warm. He made our dining experience very comfortable. He recommended the brisket quesadilla and then discovered that we could get that along with more options ordering the Ultimate Smokehouse Combo, and he was right; it was delicious and enough to share. We did a few alternatives and added a side salad. The staff was really friendly everyone that served our food and drinks greeted us with smiles and asked if we needed anything else. I actually enjoyed my plate. The deals start from 10.99 comes with an entry with side(s), appetizer and a drink. I have to admit its a hell of a deal. The chips and salsa alone may fill someone up. I went with the Sirloin plate 16.99. Have to admit it was decent. Caesar Salad for the appetizer, changed my sides to White Mac and Cheese and Fries. Ordered my steak rare, came out a little overcooked but as I expected. Mixed the Mac and Cheese with the fries and boom Mac and cheese fries. The Caesar salad did come in this tiny round bowl, which was hard to eat out of is the salad spills out the side when you try and toss the dressing in. Free refills on the soda. We come here often and the service has always been great but today was 1000000000x amazing! We unfortunately did not get our waiters name but to describe him a little, he had long hair and a facial piercing. Really sad we didn't catch his name but we really wanted to leave a review because he went above and beyond for us! His recommendations were on point and his hospitality was not unnoticed. As we were leaving our son dropped his toys and they went everywhere, even under someone else's table. He saw and came with a flash light to help us collect them. He deserves the five stars! Our group had a great meal and fun time! Our server JENNA is the best! She was so attentive,despite working the whole large area by herself. When I picked up my order another girl was there and she looked very annoyed with my presence When I got in the car I looked at the steak and it was super thin like a burger patty. We went to go eat on a Sunday, it didn't appear very busy. But yet our server only came to our table once and to get refills on our drinks we had to ask another server to get them. Additionally the food runner who delivered our food handed the food onto our hand instead of placing it on our table. As my mom grabbed the plate she burned herself. The manager came over and did apologize and left she just said she will take care of the plate which my mom burned herself. Definitely will not be coming back the service needs to be fixed and managers need to retrain their food runners in how to properly deliver the food. 0/10!!! read more

Chili's is a chain and there are quite a few of them. This one is located in Manhattan Beach in a cute strip mall. It is right off Sepulveda behind the Olive Garden. Parking is free in the lot and there is a lot of parking. Sometimes the wait can be long, so I would call ahead and get on their wait list. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and were lucky that there was no wait at all. The service is very nice, the kitchen is a bit slow and they need to work on that. Our server was very nice. He took our order right away, but it did take awhile to get our food. Another server helped me with their payment computer on our table. She was very kind. Other than the coffee our food was served hot and exactly as ordered. They have great burgers and I just loved the pickles that came on it. It was cook rare, as I asked and it was full of flavor. Their children's menu is pretty good as well. The quesadillas were great. They had cheddar cheese in them. Our server told us it would be mozzarella, so he needs to learn the menu, but it was great anyway. The mac and cheese is made from Kraft, the same stuff you buy in a box at the store. We knew this because the menu stated as much. It was good, but really, take a minute and make your own. As sides we had French fries which were great and mashed potatoes which were perfect. They have a full bar and an area to sit if you just want to drink and watch a game. The coffee was not even close to hot and I was never asked if I wanted more, I did, to try to heat it up, so they need to really work on that. Their deserts are great. We had a molten chocolate cake with ice cream which was wonderful and we will always order that now that we have tried it. There were a few issues, as noted above, but all of them are easily remedied and over all the food and service was very good. We will come back to the Chili's and if you are in the area give this one a try. It was worth it. Have fun. read more

I tried the double patty old-timer burger and it was okay but the rest of the meal had plenty of opportunities. We tried the smokehouse pick-two sampler with ribs, brisket quesadillas, and fries. The ribs were extremely dry and had a jerky toughness. Meanwhile, the quesadillas were really soggy--a disappointing dining experience. The service at the bar was a miss, the bartender seemed to be stretched thin ans needed help. We got help from someone help I g at the bar and she was pleasant and engaging, kudos.
