    Spinach and Artichoke Dip Appetizer
    Steven H.

I had Rigatoni and Sausage with Filet Mignon Skewers in Teriyaki Glaze with Coronas to wash it down. This is a five star food establishment with three star service. The rigatoni was al dente perfect and the light cream sauce was amazing. Very delicate seasoning by an obviously skilled hand. The sausage was full of flavor. The side skewers were delicious. Beefy, tender, nice Asian flavors and I could eat 10 orders without taking a breather. Also on the table was classic Spinach and Artichoke Dip--creamy, flavorful and delicious. I wanted to comment on the Corona beers with limes. They were delicious. Up in hinterlands of NoAZ we don't always get fresh items. The Coronas reminded me of Mexican beaches with fresh full-flavored Mexican beers and limes. Really good! ¡Arriba, Abajo, en Centro, en Dentro--Saluuud! As to the service, it was friendly, accurate but not fast. Very long waits for items that should be served immediately, like drinks, like ordering, like food courses arriving in a reasonable time. Not bad service, simply slower service than I'm used to getting.

It's fuzzy, but hey a view from inside those famed stained glass windows!

The staff were friendly without being in-your-face-I-want-your-tips, but attentive at the same time with menus arriving quickly and fresh drinks timed perfectly. Food was delivered so fast I suspect that they had a bunch of game day standards pre-prepared to better deal with the game crowd. Regardless, the food was delivered fast. I had the buffalo wings which were crisp and lip smacking spicy - just as I would expect. Plump and meaty wings, and despite being an appetiser it was enough for me as dinner. The pilsener was a good match with the wings, and was a refreshing brew. I had three or four of them for the sake of quality assurance. Well recommended.

Waited a good 15 minutes before someone attended to us. The person that attended to us was the bartender. Realizing he is playing host, bartender and waiter. I received my Michelob ultra which was like a cold slushy! I said perfect! Thats the way I like my drink. Super cold and icey. We ordered on the spot. Another 15 minutes goes by. Recieved our food. Wings, zucchini, hamburgers and tater tots. I have got to say.. the food here is exceptionally delicious! No complaints on the food. All was satisfying. The place has a ambiance like a tavern. Dark and cozy. Parking is a hit and miss. We came in a good time. Parking may be difficult on peak hours. If you use Google maps.. be aware, sometimes Google maps is retarded. As a first timer, Google maps got us driving around and around. Just remember that the bar is on Sepulveda and parking is in the back. Alittle frustrated. Lol Overall it was a good experience. They can work on their staffing for lunch hour. Maybe add one waitress to cover lunch time.

Our server was very attentive, kind, patient, and accommodating. For example, when my sister in law asked if there was a kid's menu for her children, the server politely stated that they didn't have one. However, he immediately picked up on the fact that these kids were highly fussy and picky eaters, and offered up buttered noodles, something that was not on the menu. The kids ended up loving this. I, on the other hand, was disappointed with most of the food I had. If I had to rate the food, it would be 3 stars. I ordered the MB Post Burger, which comes with a 1/2 pound grilled patty, American Cheese, applewood bacon, and honey chipotle aioli, between English muffin buns. I added a sunny side up egg to it for an extra few bucks. The burger was messy, and difficult to eat. Ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. I expected the egg to be a bit runny, but it was cooked all the way through. All in all, it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The crispy fries were not any better. To me, they tasted overly fried. The only thing I thought was exceptional was the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit with the whipped honey butter. It was buttery and crispy goodness. This item alone is worth coming back to this restaurant. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star restaurant. If you're planning on visiting this place, I have to warn you that parking may be a real pain to find since the area is very popular with beach goers. Things were exacerbated over the weekend due to a volleyball tournament. Had to drive around for like 30 minutes to find parking.
