new wine bar in HB, and on the pier?!? Amazing wine selection and apps food menu. Bonus- they have wine tasting! will be back!!!

Complimentary prosecco

Loved this new wine bar! The inside is very classy and moody. I went a weekday night about 50-70% of the place was full. They had a few fire pits since it was a bit chilly but we were sat inside. The couch was quite comfortable. They offered a small complimentary prosecco that was delicious and sweet. The waiter was helpful and recommended a white blend. She allowed me to try a small sip prior to ordering. It was fresh and had good balance to it. She checked on us frequently and was pleasant. We got the chicken which was surprisingly juicy and the lavendar pita/hummus. The lavender taste was light on the pita but the hummus had great flavor. Will definitely be coming back!

Let me first start to say Woah!! At the present moment I'm speechless...Being in the restaurant business since I was 15 years old, working for my parents in our family restaurant in Washington State...I'm not only grateful when I'm fortunate enough to be invited to an amazing industry party Hosted by the "Tensley" Family wines in collaboration with The Malendrina family restaurant. The ambience, decor, squash blossom's followed by an extravagant 5 star meal, with a perfectly seared pork loin, an amazing marbled steak paired with a breathtaking sauce, with the perfectly amount of acid and heat from the peppers were mind blowing...please do yourself a favor and skip the other run of the mill restaurants and please frequent this establishment.

sesame hummus very palatable with the zataar bread and i wish i had a pic of the shrimp but i ate it all quick!

I was VERY impressed by the selection by glass wine varietals AND the shrimp and sesame hummus steak options, Im so used to wine bars and cheese and charcuterie meats, but they have more than that plus the view. They even made a rainy day so cozy for our table, much appreciated to Chance, Jeya, and Chuck! Its like being in a spa patio with a view

Such a good brunch spot in Hermosa. We started with a bottle of Heidsieck Champagne, which made the whole brunch feel a little more special. I got the watermelon salad and steak & eggs and would definitely order it again -- the bavette steak was really flavorful and came with crispy fingerling potatoes, Fresno chile, capers, lemon, and a fried egg. It was hearty without feeling like a super heavy brunch. Love the rocking chairs it's a vibe.

We came in to support this new local wine bar, but unfortunately left disappointed. A fly landed in my wine, and although I showed the bartender, the owner and his wife were sitting directly across from us and clearly saw what happened. Neither of them acknowledged it or checked in. Things happen, but a simple apology would have gone a long way. The lack of hospitality was disappointing.

What a treat! So great to have a new spot that provides an elevated experience in Hermosa. So much passion and love went into this place. Can't recommend this place enough!!

You can tell the chefs are dedicated to the craft. They're a 2025 bib gourmand restaurant and are hoping to aim for their first star, so their efforts into the decor, ambiance, and food shows (good luck!). The waitstaff/chefs were also very attentive. Mussels Tart - really delicious. Super unique and beautifully plated. No taste of fishiness or the ocean. Just overall a 5/5 dish that you must try. Beef tongue - I normally enjoy beef tongue thinly sliced at a Korean BBQ restaurant or coarsely chopped up in a street taco. They do it differently here. The beef tongue is one big cube. It's very flavorful and tender. Not as amazing as the mussels tart but still worth a try. Chili crab - this put them on the map. SUPER DELICIOUS. It's not what you'd expect from a creation called 'chili crab'. There's no shell to be seen and the crab meat is actually buried underneath. Scoop from the inside out. Tons of flavor and I wished the portion size was doubled. Lamb pappardelle - if you like lamb then you'll love this. Lots of different spices and flavors. It has a very deep flavor profile that makes you appreciate all the work and thought that went into designing this dish. I'd get this again also! Strawberry tiramisu - they brought this out for the birthday celebration. They prepared it in a gigantic bowl. Scooped out a generous portion and plated it right in front of us. I have a soft spot for tiramisu so I'd recommend this too. Best of luck on the Michelin star! I'd come back. 5/5

We gave Barsha a call and they were more than happy to accommodate us! Plus they were extra kind to set our pup up with a massive bowl of ice cold water. We were quite overwhelmed by the food menu because literally everything sounded delicious. Literally everything we ordered exceeded out expectations. - The Falafel sliders are the most ordered item for a reason. Absolutely incredible with the perfect amount of flavor; deliciously crispy falafel and amazing buns. We ordered this dish twice! It was that damn good. - The crispy bread sounds pretty straight forward but it was also a standout. High quality bread all nice and toasty paired with this incredible olive-infused butter. - The Tunisian bruschetta almost got ordered twice as well. The tuna was phenomenal and makes for a great shared plate. I'm a sucker for any dish with an egg on it so will 100% be ordered this next time we stop in. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to order the lamb meatballs nor the tounsi brik. But I'm very eager to stop back in and give those a try. Also, major shout out to the staff. The service was absolutely incredible. CJ was our main server but literally every staff member that we interacted with was kind to our son, kind to our dog and kind to us. Servers gave what felt like genuine recommendations and it seemed like the team members enjoyed working there. We admittedly came in with low expectations and walked away convinced that we've found a new local favorite. Please go give this place a try!

Tableware is pretty basic, but the food definitely isn't, customer service was excellent too. We wanted one of everything on the menu, including the specials that day, but went with: Crazy about Beets - beautiful magenta beet hummus with yellow roast beet sprinkled with pistachio and dukkah with charred tomatoes. The flavours, texture, and freshness was a stand out. Really loved this dish.10/10 Roasted Cauliflower - OMG died and gone to heaven! 100/10 Falafel Sliders - 2 in a serve so you can share, crunchy, spicy, oh so moreish, good flavour and texture 8/10 Quinoa Tabbouleh - lovely lemony mouthfuls with a mint hit Chicken Mosli - the turmeric broth was amazing, soaking the veg and chicken in such a flavourful broth made everything extra 10/10 De Soi Rose - a pre mixed drink which had a pleasant berry taste (rather like Ribena if you are from the UK), refreshing and easy to drink Baumgartner white wine - Austria, little of a wine gum taste akin to sav blanc, not as much of the pepper taste I was expecting, but still eminently drinkable We really enjoyed our dinner and will be back again soon, with the beets and cauliflower definitely our first choices followed by something different, as we work our way through the entire menu!

The dishes come out as the chef prepares them, so you can share, and enjoy everything as it arrives. Our friends recommended this place because they're regulars. One of the must get items is the focaccia bread. It was so good that I'd order it again! Some of our other favorites were the Caledonia Blue Prawn Tagliarini, Chanterelle Mushroom Toast, and Kanpachi Ceviche. The fried chicken was a little dry, but maybe we just caught them on an off day. For dessert, we tried both the Caramel dessert and the Mochi Cake. Between the two, I'd definitely order the Mochi Cake again. Service was friendly and prompt throughout our meal. Overall, we had a great time here with our friends. And now I'm VERY, VERY interested in their breakfast burrito menu. I heard you can only order it through IG, so I hope to checking that out soon!

My favorites are the focaccia bread, prawns (new), ceviche, maple apple salad, prawn pasta, and steak frites. The steak and fries are really something special! Jason and his Team are excellent! Good service. Friendly and warm. As a South Bay native, Jason captures the local vibe of being friendly, chill (80s slang), and polite. His Team is the same, and I like it! I also notice that if a couple wants more quiet time, they catch the pulse and give more space. That's called reading the room! After a meal here, I always walk away thinking "man, another hit. So good!" And, the wife loves it too!

The fact that they speak Italian adds to the feel of authenticity and the waitstaff was on point the whole night. The dim lighting with the real wax candles, adds a intimate touch. The food started with a simple Hamachi Crudo, which was simple and elegant. The warm bread that accompanied it is a nice and appreciated surprise at the beginning of the meal. Next up was the octopus, which was served warm, and was not rubbery or chewy at all. The eggplant Parmesan was a little bit on the colder side, but taste wise very sweet, tender, and you could tell each portion was made lovingly. The gnocchi was soft, creamy, rich, and decadent, and the sauce was equally rich and a great pairing. When you were only served five pieces of gnocchi, somehow you feel more appreciative of each bite and that was certainly the case here. You probably wouldn't want to eat a whole bowl of the stuff as it was extremely rich and luxuriously creamy. The last dish was the tiramisu which had a strong coffee flavor. Everything about the night was wonderful and I would highly recommend trying it out!
