I came back! Once again, huge DELICIOUS portions at a GREAT price. I love supporting a local business that takes such pride in their work! And the staff there are always happy and so pleasant!

Been on my radar to try for months, and very intrigued to see how this location would be remodeled from Rubio's which I routinely visited. Upon entering, it doesn't remotely resemble the same location! Loved the decor, and felt like this was a cute cafe to cozy up for some breakfast. We were immediately greeted by the host, and our server was very friendly as well. What we ordered: - Bacon Chicken and Waffles ($15): My boyfriend immediately remarked the chicken portion didn't align with the amount of waffles. Additionally, he was not a fan of the bacon with it. Overall, he wouldn't order again and was a little disappointed. - Hatch Chili Skillet ($17): I really enjoyed the hatch chili flavor, though I felt the dish was a little haphazardly put together. You could easily omit the lettuce, pico de gallo, and even the guacamole. Or serve in small containers, so it's not all in one skillet and served as accompaniments. Next time, I'd get the omelette version to see if that's a more cohesive dish. Overall, we both said we'd return though likely get different dishes.

I liked this place. It's a clean decorated look. Pleasant styling. I found the service to be prompt, friendly and attentive. I ordered a carne asada and my colleague the enchiladas. Both of us enjoyed our meal. I will come here again.

I tried something new this time. I had a lunch item. I tried the carne asada tacos with rice and beans. It was delicious. I was not a fan of the beans. I would recommend trying this dish! Mimosa flight does not disappoint.

Okay.. let's taco bout it... This place absolutely nails Mexican food, and the experience goes far beyond what's on the plate. Customer service is excellent--servers actually know the menu and are genuinely happy to guide you or make suggestions. You can tell they enjoy being there, and that energy carries through the entire visit. The ambience is perfect for brunch and breakfast, with a bright, welcoming vibe and even a back patio. Honestly, it would be amazing if they stayed open later for late lunch or early dinner because the food deserves a nighttime crowd. How are they not open at night?! This spot is ideal for brunch, breakfast, or early lunch. They offer both breakfast options and full entrées, which is perfect for someone like me who likes breakfast but doesn't necessarily love it. It's the best of both worlds. We ordered to-go this time (and it took less than 10 minutes during the morning rush), but I cannot wait to dine inside. Here's what we tried: Café de Olla with Concha - $5.00 Hands down, the best café de olla I've had. Unfortunately, they were out of conchas that day, but I could drink this coffee every single morning. I will be back specifically to try it with the concha. Enchiladas de Mole Mole poblano / mozzarella / crema / queso fresco (Add 2 eggs + $2 | Add protein + $5 - chicken or birria) We went with the chicken mole, and wow. The mole was outstanding--rich, flavorful. It could have been a little sweeter and balanced. I know my moles, This poblano mole will satisfy a craving. Rolled Taquitos - $14 Corn tortillas / shredded beet / lettuce / queso fresco / guacamole / crema / pico de gallo / Juarez sauce (Add rice and refried beans + $3-4) OMG--start with the taquitos. Seriously. These deserve to be an appetizer no matter what you order. The Juarez sauce is unreal. They should bottle it and sell it. 3 Quesabirria Tacos Served with consommé and a side of rice and refried beans (+ $3-4) Fantastic tacos with a rich, flavorful consommé. I would come back just for a bowl of it. Now I'm dying to try their breakfast ramen. Final thoughts: Everything we ordered was excellent. My only small complaint is that adding a side of rice and beans comes out to around $7, which feels a bit steep when paired with an entrée. That said, the quality and flavor across the board more than make up for it. Please open at night. Please!!! This place is a gem for brunch and breakfast lovers--and even for those of us who are picky about breakfast. I'll absolutely be back, and next time, I'm dining in.

Our first time here. The food from the appetizer to main courses were delicious. The server recommended the carne asada plate and it was very good. The music is perfect for the restaurant and it was very clean. The restroom too. We will definitely be back.

This place is POPPIN. Tons of people, definitely will have a line, but your party won't wait too long. The kitchen pumps the food out quickly, so you're not waiting long at all to eat after ordering. Food is delicious, the staff + management were so friendly. Management came to check on us, just to see how our experience was and if we were enjoying our food. LOVE the service & personal touch. We live nearby and will absolutely bring our family and friends back here. The restaurant is big, super cool, good food + portions, excellent service... 10/10!

They had so much to choose from. Need to come back 67 more times to try it all!

Ok. I hate even raving about this place because I know it's already busy, but......I can see why! They 100% deserve the accolades. This is hands down the greatest hang to come to our area since...EVER! First off, everything is sparkling clean - the staff was busy polishing windows and tables when we came in Friday morning. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly hostess immediately and chose to sit on the patio, which was super clean and had a chill vibe with dance music playing over the speakers. Perfect for my boozy brunch date with my hubby!! Karolina was our WONDERFUL server and she was literally the most patient person on the planet since we told her to come back in five minutes about 37 times as we scoured Instagram and Yelp to see what we wanted to select from the vast (I do mean vast) array of authentic, fresh offerings. I had three (maybe four?) mimosas while deciding. By the way....five bucks for a mimosa is a deal and they do NOT skimp on the bubbly!! Major points for that. My hubby got some insane concoction called an Arizona Sunset. It has a sugary soda sticking out of it. It was kind of like if an eight year old invented a tequila sunrise. But it was tasty- just suuuper sweet. The chips and salsa were fantastic- the salsa was def homemade and warm but not overly spicy, just spicy enough to keep us dipping. Ok I could have drank it. It was that good. But the showstoppers are the chilaquiles! I had the trio and hubby had the molcajete which we both agreed was the most unique and addictive although hear this- ALL of the sauces were freaking amazing. The fresh cilantro, onion, jalapeño and queso Fresca topped off our birria and carnita chilaquiles perfectly. They do meat right! It was so tender and juicy. Just ridiculous. The refried beans were delectable- I'm A bean snob and these were lovely. Creamy, a subtle hint of savory pork flavor, just perfect. We go to Puerto Vallarta frequently and these chilaquiles are on par with the ones we get on vacation. Now we can get them and save the plane fare!!! I ordered a side of the hatch chile and, not gonna lie, haven't been able to think of much else since. I keep Thinking of all the things I can smother with it. All in all, we decided we have to come back not only to try every other thing on the menu, but also to see the people who work here. Karolina was a delight, very efficient but super friendly. We also were visited by manager Jaime who we adored and might come back just to see how he's doing! He made sure all the tables were having the dining experience they were seeking, and talking to him was an absolute joy. We loved the food but really, really loved the way we were treated here. The people here haven't forgotten how to be kind. So, ok, crowds and hordes of people, come on...I guess!! Just save us a seat.

9/6/25 It's been six months since my grand opening week visit. Shout out to @April A. for her review which put Chilaquiles on my radar! Parking 4/5 We arrived for lunch and the shared lot was nuts as it always seems to be, so we circles a couple of times and caught someone pulling out near the restaurant. Ohhh happy happy! Check-in 4/5 We checked in to a full house and got on their Hostess texting list then made our way to Verizon a few doors down just because. We received our tables ready text in 5-10 minutes and were seated. This was the first time making it to a table because opening week it was sooo busy we ate at the bar. Atmosphere 5/5 Trendy modern something cool is happening here Vibe. Interesting lighting and fixtures, awesome logo signage. Good but Moderately loud Music plays pushing table conversations to a higher level to communicate at your table. As the Resturant fills you hears the roar of conversations reminiscent of active night clubs. Peeps here are having fun! Service 5/5 Our server Matt made it over quickly and got drinks started while I struggled to make up my mind. Too many choices which made me ask; why did we wait six months to return its in our backyard? Matt answered a couple of questions and we made our entree selections. Food 5/5 My wife ordered her favorite menudo which sold out during our last visit, and I had a difficult time deciding which skillet to pick. It went with a favorite, Carnitas with an over easy egg on top. Let me add, Chilaquiles is serving up atmosphere and great Latin Fusion dishes! My second choice was their Barria skillet. While we waited for our order to arrive it happened. As if the kitchen sent me a message I got bookmarked by two adjacent tables just an elbow away. They both had the Barria Ramen skillets and they looked delicious! And as the song goes, Barria to the left of me Ramen to the right; I'm stuck in the middle between you. Sorry that just happened.; ) Our food arrived and was excellent, my wife thought her Menudo was too spicy for her. Mine was delicious but .... I know what skillet I'm trying next visit. $50.09 for two and generous cash tip for Fast & Friendly Matt. Eat well my friends-SYOY!

I read the reviews and tried to go one time for Sunday brunch that had an hour wait (we skipped it). We decided that the earlier we arrive, the better experience we would have. We went on a Sunday arrives around 8:45. We were seated right away. Placed our drink order, along with a basket of conchas. The food was delicious. I decided that I like the green chilaquiles better than the red. The potatoes on my kids dishes were a little soggy, not great. But the fries with my husband's meal were crispy, hot & delicious. We look forward to returning and trying something different.

First time here and OMG when in Mesa, AZ must STOP in. Our waitress Naomi was so attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and very flavorful. Jamie, the Manager was a pleasant person meeting. Walked around restaurant introducing himself, asking if we were ok and needed anything. The restaurant decor was pretty. It was clean and well kept up. I definitely will be returning and recommend this place.

Mesa's authentic, family owned Mexican cuisine, they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They brunch tho! I got the Birria Omelette (Birria beef, eggs, cheese, cilantro) served with potatoes and corn tortillas. WOW, more please! It was very good. The tortillas, I could have ate those all day. Oh yeah, this place is poppin! Get there, get on the waiting list pronto! The restaurant is clean and open.

Heard the chilaquiles were good here so wanted to give it a try! Sadly starting off the smell of the restaurant was not the best. It smelled like sewer. The chilaquiles trio was nice to be able to taste a variety of flavors, but overall the chilaquiles were okay. The rolled taquitos were good, but some of them were more dry. The tacos were good and they gave a good amount of protein in them. The birria torta was my favorite. Birria was so moist and flavorful! Service was great!

Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
