    Orange and General Tso Chicken

3.5 stars . Ordered takeout because I didn't want to cook. This place was nearby and I need a local chinese joint. Ugh what was good: cost, fast delivery, correct order and amount of food. Dissatisfied with the hot wing. I almost want to throw them away. Don't buy these. I tried to add sweet chili, sauce but still no bueno. I ordered Orange Chicken & General Tso Chicken. Both of these good flavor. White rice was included but was kinda hard for steamed rice. All in all, probably would try a different spot before ordering here again.

Makes me really sad because I love crab Rangoon's so much but these are the worst I have ever had in my life. They even stink they taste so bad. You just cannot simply eat it, it stinks. I also ordered 4 veggie egg rolls, they had meat in them so I could not eat them. Let's just say my stomach is TORE up. Also this is not the first time I've had an issue with the crab Rangoon's. It's nearby so I though I'd give them a second chance. Bad batch right? Yeah no. Even the egg roles stink, do they change the oil? Sorry to go in so hard but I just wanted to warn everyone. // I'm from St.Louis so maybe I'm spoiled with my Chinese food because these other reviews just don't make sense. Can I get a refund?

Cheng Chopsticks in Logan Square has pretty good food at pretty good prices. Some items are a bit better than others so let's break it down. Crab Rangoon ($3.45 for 4 pcs) - Pretty darn good. None of that half filled dough encasement here. They have a lot of cream cheese and are ooey, gooey, goodness as far as I'm concerned. Orange Chicken - Most flavorless of the dishes I tried. It wasn't spicy in terms of heat or any sort of real taste. I'd skip ever getting this again because I want a little heat with my orange chicken! Sesame Chicken - This dish was average to me. Liked it, didn't love it, not the best sesame chicken I've had, but not the worst...so...very middle of the road. Sweet & Sour Pork - The best of the meat dishes but the lunch special didn't include a lot of meat. Mostly veggies. Great flavor in this one though and would order it again, just may ask for less veggies. Vegetable Eggrolls ($3.75 for 2) - Loved these. Pretty standard in taste and size, exactly what I was looking for when I ordered them. Shrimp Fried Rice - Standard and solid. Their lunch specials come with an eggroll & a drink for $7 which is a great deal. All the chicken dishes use white meat which is lovely. They pack a good amount of sweet & sour sauce, napkins, silverware, pretty much everything you need and they aren't stingy about it. I wouldn't rush to order from Cheng Chopsticks again and would probably try a new spot in the future. However for cheap eats that are decent, it's a good option.

Pretty standard but staple neighborhood Chinese take out joint. They do Lunch specials - around $6.75 before 3 pm and later $8 but comes with a choice of rice/shrimp fried rice, 1 egg roll, an entree and a pop. It served me for 2 meals and I still had leftovers which I think was too generous. General Tso's chicken was better than Orange chicken which lacked flavor in my opinion. Egg rolls were not great. Shrimp rice was the typical take out rice. Service was super fast. Overall decent! I will return

Really great general tso's chicken and potstickers! The food was both high quality and flavorful, and tasty, greasy comfort food you want from take out. We also LOVED the crab rangoon. More savory than sweet, which is what we prefer.

Haven't ordered from here since 2020 but knew when that biennial craving for some takeout kicked in today that Cheng chopsticks was always my go-to for great portions and consistent quality. If you're nearby, I recommend calling them to order as my subtotal rang up to 9.15 for their lunch special (look at the size of this thing, a little less than half the order filled up my separate plate!)

MingHin was packed, loud, and a little chaotic. Worth it. Dim sum is an experience as much as a meal and MingHin delivers on both fronts. We ordered more than we could keep track of. Soup dumplings that immediately became the kids' personal obsession. Shu mai that hit every time. BBQ pork buns in every form they offered because obviously. Chinese broccoli to balance out the indulgence. Everything was solid, fresh, and exactly what you want from a dim sum spread. The room was packed and buzzing but the service kept up impressively. Servers were constantly circling, clearing empty plates and dishes without missing a beat. Clean and attentive even at full capacity, which is no small thing. Fair warning if you are bringing little ones: this environment is a lot. The noise, the crowd, the overwhelming parade of food arriving at the table. Our kids loved what they ate but the sensory experience was a bit much for them. This is a place better suited for a group of adventurous adults or older kids who thrive in high energy environments. Prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. A Chinatown institution for good reason. Just know what you are walking into and embrace it fully.

The portions are huge, so I highly recommend sharing dishes, especially if you're dining with a group. Some of my favorites are the dumplings, various rice dishes, chicken, lemongrass dishes, Mongolian beef, and other traditional offerings. This is a fantastic place for larger groups, and they're very accommodating when it comes to splitting checks. The food comes out quickly, the atmosphere is lively, and there's plenty of variety for everyone. If you're in the area near Joy Yee, MingHin is definitely worth a visit!

The vibes were chill with pop music playing in the background. Service was solid. Our server was knowledgeable, explained the menu well, and answered questions without rushing us. The Pork & Chive Dumplings tasted like something my mom would make at home. The broth they sit in adds a lot of flavor and makes the dish even better. My only nitpick is that I personally prefer a thicker, chewier dumpling wrapper. The Dan Dan Noodles were the standout. Creamy, nutty, crunchy from the peanuts, packed with flavor, and not overly spicy. It was my first time trying dan dan noodles and now I totally understand the hype. 8/10. The Xian Bing took about 25 minutes to come out, which makes sense since they're made fresh. The lamb filling was flavorful and the outside was super crispy, almost like a scallion pancake. The bread itself was softer and thicker than I expected and could've used a little more flavor. Overall, this felt like authentic, comforting food that leaves you completely satisfied when you walk out. Next time I'd absolutely order the Dan Dan Noodles again and try the beef noodles, scallion pancakes, and beef dumplings.

We started with house beer, then worked through chicken potstickers, tofu skin salad, the xian bing (freshly baked crispy bread stuffed with cumin lamb), and dan dan noodles. A solid meal in a no-frills room.

It's crazy it's completely died down by the time we were finished with our meal. The service was great, the interior decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The dim sum offered for brunch was good as well but pricey. Especially since some dishes were only offered with two pieces. If you have a party of three then you're kind of forced into buying two of the same dishes. Which is strange. Traditionally most dim sum dishes have three pieces. Rarely see 2 pieces being offered especially for double the price. We ordered their Jiaozi, Char Sui Bao, crab Rangoon, chilly chilli noodles, and their Xiang long Bao. All were great. The chilly chilli noodles is served cold and was very flavorful. The Xiang Kong Bao was amazing. The potstickers was probably my favorite dish and it's mess up char Sui Bao. We were going to order wings but they had ran out I guess by 12pm on a Sunday. I was also going to order fried rice but it wasn't offered for brunch. Overall despite the priciness of the menu, we still enjoyed our food and the service. I obviously knew what I was getting myself into by visiting this place, and can definitely see myself returning in the future.
