The staff here was very welcoming and our food came out very quickly. My wife ordered her usual Pad See ew with chicken and I ordered their Pad Khee Mao with beef. Both dishes tasted delicious. Not only am I giving them five stars for the quality of their food, but their service is incredible. I had received an order of green curry (one of my favorites in the city) and mango sticky rice, and when I went to eat the mango sticky rice, the container fell on the floor and spilled everywhere. I called to let them know and acknowledged that it was my fault, but they were kind enough to make me a new order and got a courier out quickly to bring me the new order free of charge even though they were very busy. The menu is nicely curated, not one of those endless scrolls that leave you questioning your life choices. We tried the curry and noodles, and both were excellent--flavorful and just the right portions. Service was on point, and the prices were totally fair for the quality. Our new favorite Thai restaurant we are so fortunate to have in our Logan Square neighborhood. We've had numerous dishes there and appetizers and everything is solid.! Their pad Thai is always on the mark. Pad See Ew delicious, and has no fishy flavor that I find sometimes in other restaurants, even if you ask for no fish sauce. The drunken noodle is tasty, as well as all their curries we've tried. The vegetable dumpling is very fresh and the fried tofu is done just right. This place feels like healthier Thai food than other places. Not overly salty, and fresh not overly cooked vegetables or overly fried foods. It truly feels like a family own business, and they're frequently cranking out food from their kitchen and serving with a smile on their face. They are super friendly and appreciative for our business. They are cute and sometimes offer complementary treats. We've only ever had takeout here, but we look forward to eating in the restaurant soon, as it's often very lively in the dining area. read more

Decided to order DoorDash for a weeknight dinner. The food is pretty good. Unfortunately on DoorDash they don't ask for special instructions or spice level, except for the noodles. Our order: -Crab Rangoon - These were so good! -Pineapple Fried Rice w/ Chicken - SO GOOD!! -Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken - We selected the hot spice level and it was hot for sure. However the flavor was really good. Next time I would probably do medium. -Panang Curry w/ Chicken - I was a bit disappointed with this dish because it was full of green and red bell peppers. I came in here and was met with the friendliest woman at the front! She was so kind and gave me so much patience as she helped me plan my first order here! The place is absolutely spotless and it's clear they care about their food and their restaurant! The ambiance is pretty relaxing and standard for a restaurant! Our first time having EaThai in close to a year, and all I can say is shame on us! As I said in my review a year ago, the freshness of the ingredients, coupled with the balance of flavors and resistance to overly-American the dishes, makes EaThai the premiere Thai spot in the area, and perhaps the city. The portions, as you can see, and great (for example, there were eight baby shrimp with my pad thai), and takeout containers are packaged perfectly. They look like top quality dishes right out of the bag, and they taste like it too. We live a little closer to at least one other Thai spot that is our usual go to, but if I'm honest, there's simply no comparison. Great menu options. Perfect execution. And lovely staff. Located squarely on the corner of N Kedzie and W George in Logan Square, this small Thai restaurant features a cutely decorated interior with very clean, organized, and well-coordinated vibes and decor. I went with a friend on Friday for lunch, and it was pretty empty. I usually don't order Pad Thai when I go to American Thai restaurants because they're usually a miss, but I was really craving it, so I ordered the Pad Thai with beef. It tasted amazing! It was even comparable to the tastes and textures of the Pad Thai I had in Thailand. While a lot of Pad Thai is usually either a sticky clump or way too watery, these noodles had a perfect texture-- sticky, while still retaining their individual shapes and textures. Something I love about Thai food is the mix of different flavors-- sweet, sour, and spicy-- and the flavors here similarly hit the spot. Although I ordered mild spice and it wasn't spicy at all (next time will definitely try the medium), the flavor still had an excellent, balanced mix of sweet and sour. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. Though the beef was kind of overcooked, the eggs were cooked perfectly and really enhanced the flavor of the dish. The portions were also well-sized especially for the price ($12.95), which is relatively cheap for Thai food in Chicago. I also ordered the vegetable egg rolls appetizer, and my god it was so perfectly crispy. Each bite gave a nice crunch and the inside vegetables were warm and flavored well. The service was also phenomenal-- super friendly, attentive, and quick. At one point, I accidentally dropped a chopstick on the floor and the server brought a new one for me within seconds. I ordered the beef basil stirfry which was fine (not bad but not great either) but I was mostly disappointed in the serving size. It came in a round plastic tupperware with the rice already in there so not only was the order was mostly rice (and I prefer no rice), the rice had absorbed all the sauce. At this rate of spend it surprises me that they do not spice their food but give you a side so that you can DIY. Don't send me messages about their workforce or limited work space argument and blah. Bummer we ordered and picked up on a Saturday night for 3 adults and 1 child. We ordered 4 egg rolls. Another appetizer and 4 entrees. First, they completely forgot one of our entrees and we were not about to go turn around and drive back and get it. They credited us for it. But this in turn was not enough food. While we were full enough the portions aren't huge and missing an entree I feel like we had no leftovers which we always like. We could have had more for sure with the portions. The food was fine, nothing we ate was amazing and nothing was bad. I felt like the veggies came out of a frozen package like the peas and carrots you get in the freezer section. I guess it's playing safe! Otherwise, flavors are good. We would highly recommend the Thai Wings (spicy)- super crispy and the flavor was unique, dry rub. Sum Tom (papaya salad) was light and refreshing, but I wish it had more flavor. Thai fried rice (medium spice) This tasted good. I'm always caution with ordering spice levels at Thai restaurants because sometimes medium is spicy. I would say the medium here is not. Great casual Thai place close to Logan Square. Really homey and cute decor. Our waitress was extremely friendly and suggested several options for dessert. The pineapple fried rice with chicken I got was large in serving and had ample amounts of pineapple and cashews. My partner got the season pumpkin coconut curry which was very flavorful and complimented the fried rice well when we shared. Long time customer, never again. Customer service is the WORST. I ordered takeout and there was missing food from the order. I called for a refund and they were very apologetic and kind at first. They acknowledged the missing items and agreed to refund my credit card for them. It took nearly a week, but they wound up only crediting half the amount of the missing food. I called back to talk to the manager and they refused to provide the full credit. I wound up filing a dispute with my credit card, and the restaurant lied that I never had any missing items. I will never order from this shady business again. I see they are active on Yelp and will likely try to spin this experience as my fault.
