    BBQ Rib(APP)-()

I've ordered from this place about three times in the past month, so I've really been enjoying it for Chinese food. My last order was good also, but the ribs were super dry and almost in edible. I also had the Japanese hibachi noodles with chicken, which are always great, and the biang biang noodles. The latter were very soggy. Will definitely not rule out this restaurant for future delivery orders, but didn't have the greatest experience this time around.

This is one of the few Chinese restaurants not in Chinatown that serves Biang Biang noodles! However, my favorite thing to get here is the Hand-pulled lamb noodle soup. It's the perfect winter dish and so comforting. I love the texture of the noodles as well. Decent amount of seating inside and an above average amount of TV's in the dining area as well. They were mainly playing kids movies which was fun entertainment. Overall, this is one of my go-to spots for authentic, comforting Chinese food.

I've been wanting to try X'ian Cuisine for a while and I'm glad I was finally able to get there. We just wanted a light lunch so we shared an order of tofu skins and got 2 flatbreads aka rou jia mo, a popular Shaanxi street food that isn't always easy to find here. The tofu skins were just okay. The hot oil really wasn't but there was a faint hint of Sichuan peppercorn. The flatbreads were much better. I got the marinated beef in a crunchy flatbread. The contrast between the hot bread and the cold filling was nice. The bread was crispy and flaky. On the whole, it was like a Chinese roast beef sandwich. The pork, on soft flatbread, was equally good. Service is fine and the decor is showing its age somewhat but nothing that distracts from the food. I'm looking forward to trying more of the X'ian menu.

Had a very pleasant lunch experience here! Super considerate servers took good care of us and our little toddler. We got lamb bbq skewers, biang biang noodles, hand stretched noodles w hot sauce, pork flatbread and beans stir-fry. Everything was delicious and we would recommend all of them for those first timers.

Really extensive menu! They have sushi, Chinese American dishes, Szechuan, and Xi'an food. We shared 2 pork rou jia mou's, a spicy fish soup, biang biang noodles, and a spicy chicken. Everything was flavorful, fresh and delicious! I highly recommend the spicy fish soup. There was a lot of pieces of fish and the soup was filled with bean sprouts and cabbage as well. Service was friendly and prompt. Parking is definitely a bit of a challenge. You'll need to find street parking which costs about $14 for 3 hours. The bathrooms are clean and there's plenty of seating inside the restaurant. Definitely a great place for Chinese without having to go into Chinatown.

Yum such a solid Asian spot. For the price, the portion sizes are huge! I could barely finish my dish. The hand pulled wide noodles were soft and chewy. I got the noodles with lamb soup and the broth was flavorful and not super salty. There was a decent amount of protein as well. The mapo tofu was also good, the numbing spice wasn't overpowering so it was just the right amount of spiciness. Overall a good Chinese restaurant. The service was good too. I would come again

They busy with a lot of takeout orders but servers are still attentive. Pretty easy to get a seat. The food comes quickly unless they warn you it may take longer (like our pork trotters). The portions here are hearty and I usually end up taking some home. The zhajang noodles were great. Love their in house wide noodles. Plenty of sauce to coat the noodles. Braised lamb flatbread soup I liked more than the plain lamb flatbread soup because it had some more flavor from the spices in the braised lamb. It was a bit on the salter end but the size of the dish is worth it. The flatbread soaked in the soup has a fun texture. They also include some thin vermicelli noodles and plenty of lamb meat. We also got lamb skewers. I love their dry seasoning on their skewers. The pork trotters were delicious. Chewy and gooey without being too rubbery with some crispy bits and a ton of dry seasoning and good balance of soft, boiled interior and a grilled, crispy outer.

Pork with pepper, Guo Bao pork, string beans (taken after we ate some so portions are larger than this)

Ordered Stir-Fried Pork Belly with Pepper (which turned out to not be spicy, to my relief) Guo Bao Pork, String Beans (without spicy), Hot & Sour Soup. All were good but liked the crispy Guo Bao better between the two pork dishes. Will try the Hong Sue Pork that was recommended to us next time. The soup came out late because they were apparently making it from scratch because they ran out. Nice to see a diverse mix of people eating here.

    Roujiamo

After leaving China, I always have cravings for the street food, and Xi'an Cuisine hits the spot just right. The Roujiamo, sometimes called the "Chinese hamburger" is to die for. There's nothing I'd rather eat late at night. Everything is priced very fairly.

Unassuming from the outside, Xi'an Cuisine is a true hidden gem! The inside is much larger than you might expect, with a full bar and ample seating. The peking duck and soup dumplings were delicious and the sashimi was very fresh. But the true star of the show was the tomato & egg -- one of my favorite dishes that I rarely find on mainstream menus. It's a must try! Our server was very helpful, too, and made sure there were no miscommunications in what we ordered. We also returned later for takeout and can confirm everything holds up!

I used to come here quite often. Haven't been in a while and was feeling nostalgic. The service is nice as before, but the food quality definitely changed. I wonder if they switched chefs or owners? The lamb soup got more bland and the egg tomato noodle dish became pan fried egg and tomato noodles instead of the soupy runny way they used to be

    Sarah L.

Came in for a quick bite and was very impressed by the food and service. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Portion sizes were huge and you definitely get a bang for your buck with the dinner combo specials. For $15 you get a large entree and side (substitutions are available for an upcharge) , egg roll, and drink.

It was no wonder when we arrived that there was a line out the door. We waited around 45 minutes, and the bouncer was a really nice fellow who kept track of the numbers and people at the door. Upon entering, we were immersed in a dimly lit retro-style lounge. It was quite loud inside and packed as we walked to our seats. The server was great at taking our orders and offering suggestions. I opted for the French 75, which featured sparkling wine and mixed gin, brandies, and citrus. The drink was delicious, but STRONG. I don't know what they put in the cocktails in America, but I am always finished after one drink. Needless to say, we were all struggling to finish our own drinks. My favourite touch was the coasters, I ended up keeping all of them so that I can reuse them at my galentines event next year. The 'bisous' with the kiss on the other side is a perfect touch! I think the drinks are fairly priced for USD. I would love to return someday to try other drinks and bar bites, and also try their sister bar, Sparrow.

Imagine my shock when we didn't even make it past the bouncer because he was so rude, AS OTHER RECENT REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED AS WELL! We had dinner nearby and walked to Bisous after, and saw there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside. We expected this as we knew Bisous is a first come, first serve bar. We were curious what the wait time would look like, so we approached the front door to ask a host or employee inside (we assumed there'd be a desk with an employee working it who could give us a wait time). We had no problem waiting, just wanted to see how long they estimated it would be! Before we could even fully open the door, the bouncer swung the door open from the other side and hit me with the door. I stumbled back a few steps and he looked at us and said, and I quote, "What do you want?". I laughed at first because I thought he was joking and putting on a tough guy act. He was not. We quickly explained we just wanted to see what the wait time was, and he said "don't you see there's a line outside?" We said yes, and explained we just wanted to know a rough estimated wait time. He just blankly stared at us while ushering us out. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer-service roles for a very, very long time. This encounter was not only extremely rude and unprofessional, but he also hit me hard enough with the door to send me stumbling back, and then said nothing about it and continued to address us in a tone that was nothing less than annoyed and irritated. We didn't end up going inside because that encounter left such a bad taste in our mouths. I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that don't treat their customers with the bare minimum respect they deserve! Bummed we didn't get to experience it, as I'm sure it was lovely inside and I can only hope the rest of the employees were much more kind and accommodating, or at least able to answer a simple question. Fire your "bouncer" (??) and hire someone with some basic customer service and communication skills!!
