This is a small restaurant in the neighborhood. The look of the restaurant is very ordinary but the favor is great. I tried the beef fried fun. It is flavorful with tender and fresh beef. The portion is big. As a family-run business, the service is warm and quick.

been passing by this place for almost a year and decided it was time to go try it. It's your typical Chinese take out with the classic menu items. Today we ordered a beef chow fun spicy and an orange chicken entree with it. The spiciness of the beef chow fun was spicy and Smokey. It did need a bit more soy sauce to have a bit more saltiness. The orange chicken was lacking in crunch due to it probably being soggy from the closed container. Other than that, the sauce of the orange chicken is very light and I personally liked how it was not drenched in straight up sauce. If there was a party, I would definitely come back and order the party trays.

Chinese takeout that hits the spot! I usually order via doordash and the food comes deliciously hot which is a great. My favorite meal here is their combination #5 which comes with beef broccoli, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. The beef broccoli is scrumptious and the fried rice is well seasoned too. Their egg roll is alright. I tried their combination#3, sweet & sour pork, chicken chow mein, and an eggroll which was pretty good too.

Honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, chow mein and shrimp fried rice

I think we all underestimate these little restaurants but I can honestly say this is the most authentic mom and pops hold in the wall chinese food restaurant. The food is very flavorful. We will definitely be regulars here!

They're okay. A little bit on the oily side but this our go-to Chinese place since it's close to our apartment.

They're pretty much very average. Their orange chicken in my opinion has too much breading, but the flavor is nice.

The salted egg yolk fried chicken wings were awesome. They come out looking super red, but they are not spicy. Great flavor, super good, and very yummy. The cumin lamb was excellent too. It had a little spice, but not too bad, and the lamb was really soft. The mapo tofu with pork was good, but very spicy. The tofu itself was good. The Sichuan high wok was tasty, but it got spicier and spicier the more I ate it, so just be ready for that. Honey walnut shrimp came out very crispy and the sauce was light. The flavor was not too bad, but the shrimp flavor did not come through as much. The Yunnan rice noodle soup with pork and pickled cabbage was good, and the soup itself had nice flavor, but I wish it had more meat. Beef and scallion dumplings were average. Sauteed greens were solid and definitely necessary to balance out the meal. Service was relatively quick, which was nice since we ordered a good amount of food. Everything came out at a good pace, and the meal felt easy overall. Nothing too fancy on the service side, but it got the job done. The inside feels like a big cafeteria. It is fine, but not really a place you go for ambiance. It was also a little hot inside, which made the spicy dishes feel even spicier. Overall, Home Eat is a good spot for flavorful Chinese food, especially if you like spicy dishes and salted egg yolk fried chicken wings.

Flavor profile was good esp the garlic noodles and garlic steing beans, they were not too salty. Sadly the loco moco beef patty was a bit too firm and dry. Not enough gravy. Service was good. Someone made sure we put on name on the list when we were waiting at the door. A server check on us every once in a while. Took a while to get more chopsticks and the paper check. Ambiance was great. Other than a few items coming out less than warm, (and yes I'm not talking about the items that come out cold already) all of us really enjoyed everything! Big problem though, the service. Waiter is very much not attentive to anyone. Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. He never checked in on us, and we were charged 20% gratuity since we were 12 people. I don't mind auto-gratuity, but when the service is nonexistent, it really doesn't sit well. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. Another addition: charged us twice for sea salt cream that we didn't order, and tried to say that we did order it.

The food is delicious! Definitely recommend the bbq chicken fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Seating area is more so just for waiting for pickup. No sit down and eat since tables are stacked up. This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
