There is a new hot pot place opening at this shopping center which may make parking a bit challenging later. Eggrollls are $1.99 each for vegetarian, pork, or chicken. I'm pretty stuffed after eating just a few. They also serve a large variety of Chinese food including the popular broccoli beef, orange chicken, string beans, chow mein, fried rice, to name a few. Their portions are huge and the food is often spilling out of the togo box! There can be a short line during the lunch rush but the employees are efficient and keep it moving quickly. I never visited because it doesn't look appealing on the outside next to Target, but inside is wonderful. You can dine in. Seapot hot pot restaurant will eventually open in the plaza, so maybe it will attract more attention in future. All the foods are good tasting and decent. A bit costly for dim sum items, but entrees and party trays are convenient. I like it. Today, I ordered 6 pieces pork eggrolls, 6 pieces chicken eggrolls, and 6 pieces fried chicken. Eggrolls $1.90 per piece and fried chicken $1.70 per piece. Yummy! It tasted like what my grandmother and aunties would make. Not too droppy oily and not too salty either. They gave me lots of sweet sour sauce. Love it. Foods taste good in this little shop! Parking lot is not too bad since Target store has its own area for parking. This review is for their service. It is Very frustrating and inconsistent service. Some days King Eggroll Express accepts phone orders, and other days they don't, even though they answer the phone. There is no clear policy, leaving customers guessing. What's most frustrating is that employees spend time explaining why they can't take a phone order and directing customers to order online. They could have taken the order in less time than it took to explain why they wouldn't. This is especially inconvenient for customers who are driving, as a quick phone order is often safer and easier than navigating an online ordering system, and stating to come to the store, that it takes only 5 mins to make their bahn mi sandwich but some days they say it takes 15 mins. I am beyond annoyed at this time. And to top it off, i tried the online orders showing pickup times of around 45 minutes. Note allowing phone orders creates an unnecessary inconvenience. Some days the chow mein is great and other days it tastes like dishwater. I work down the street and come here 2 to 3 times a week. Most of the time I love the chow mein but 3 times it has tasted like dish water. Does the chef clean the pan and forget to rinse the soap out? I spend $20 to throw the food in the trash because I can't eat it and good luck getting a refund. Business needs to do better on checking the quality of the food. If I get sick I'm coming back with the health inspector and an attorney. The 2 stars are for how good the food is when it's no tasting like DISHWATER! I love the sesame balls and the little banana triangle things are really good too. Never had any issue with the sesame balls except a couple times they were just a little tough, didn't bother me though because I like the texture. I'm giving them one more chance. Been coming in here for to-go snacks every other week for the past 2 months. I'm typically in and out within less than 5 minutes which is awesome. My go to is the Shiu Mai, Har Gow and pot stickers. The chicken on a stick and the fried rice isn't bad either. So far, the food has been good. I usually get 2 dim sum dishes and 2 other items when I come in here and it's usually a bit under $30 (which is kinda steep for me but right in line with these inflationary times). If the pricing was lower or if they had any Bo-Go deals then I'd definitely give it 5 stars but it's all good. Customers are trying to be cost consious while businesses are trying to stay afloat during these times. The thing I like about this place is that it's fast, convenient, the workers are young adults that speak perfect english (so there is no language barrier when american customers come in), and the menu's on their digital monitors are big and easy to read and have the english translation next to the name of the item. I normally don't order food from King Eggroll but the staff that was working that day was super helpful with trying to figure out food portioning and pricing for us. The food we ordered was quite a bit and I didn't know the minimum for large Eggroll orders would be a count of 24, so keep that in mind if you're ordering for a big group. The food we ended up going with was more than enough which is what I was hoping for. Pricing was a bit steep but hey, if you're ordering a LOT it'll add up.
