    Palabok 5/5

After being out on a cold night, I wanted some comforting Filipino food. I'm so happy I came upon this place because it was exactly what I was looking for. I tend to be picky when it comes to Filipino food because I'm Filipino and I'm used to home style cooking, for fast food this place did not disappoint. I ordered mostly a la carte and the portions were generous. I ordered the rellenong bangus, pork sisig, palabok and 1 combo of dinuguan with rice. Everything was warm, fresh and delicious. Flavoring was on point and not too salty. The meats were unctuous and the fish had a nice bite. The service was quick and to the point, I definitely appreciate then taking my order 30 minutes before closing because it looked like most things were put away for the night. It's a small spot best for takeout but they do have a tidy little nook if you choose to dine in. I would love to come back and try their breakfast combinations, they had a nice variety to choose from.

IMHO My husband wanted Crispy Pata for his birthday lunch, after we'd eaten it in Maui. Happily, he found Tindahan while researching, and bonus that it was on our side of town! We ordered online and we picked up 30 minutes later. The Crispy Pata was $26.50 and the Pinoy Pansit Bihon was $17.99. Portions were generous! Definitely bang-for-your-buck here! The pata was crispy crunchy, and gooey fatty. The meat was tender and yummy dipped in the vinegar soy sauce. We'll be eating leftovers for days! I think it has mainly take-out customers, but I did see two tables in the corner for dine-in. You can also find some Filipino food staples and snacks to purchase. Check it out for friendly service and delicious Pinoy comfort food!

We had a catering lunch with them and we were all pleasantly surprised! We ordered individual boxed lunches of 4 varieties: chicken adobo, pork adobo, sweet sausage, and vegetarian which is Filipino style noodle. All bento came with boiled mixed frozen veggie, scrabbled egg and a fried egg, a sticky rice flour cake and lots of white rice. The sweet sausage tasted good and juicy! There are also 2 kinds of fried rolls, a vegetarian spring roll and the lumpia meat roll. We like them both, can't complain! I hope we cater from them again!

Came here with some friends this morning for breakfast. We got all 5 of the different ones and some lumpia. Milk fish was a bit dry. Lechon was also a bit dry. The Filipino sausage was probably my favorite. Also liked the sisig. That was delicious. Good flavor. The lumpias were so cute and yummy (seemed a bit over priced though for these. $13.99 for 15 pieces and the pieces are very small) Garlic rice was yummy! They give you decent portion. Service was nice. The worker was very pleasant. This is more of a take out place. There isn't much seating. One round table with two chairs and then We had to ask them if we could use this other table that had their stuff on it and they were nice enough to let us. No tables outside either.

Had to come back! I enjoy that their food is freshly made. The food tastes good!!! That's why we came back. Service is always with a smile. The tables were clean. They had some Halloween decorations.

Tindahan Pinoy is located in a strip mall that has Pho Dao, Đại-Thành Supermarket, Popeye's Louisiana Chicken, T4, etc. The parking isn't too bad. Small place with a couple of shelves full of merchandise for sale. They have a steam table for some food and a kitchen in the back to quickly cook other foods. I came in here to try their breakfast meal of two scoops of garlic rice, a fried egg, tomato & cucumber slices and one meat (Tocino) (3.5/5). It was prepared in about 5-6 minutes. It's usually crowded but not at the time I visited.

Low quality pork with lots of fat and skin used to stir fry with the pancit...$18 not worth for the portion of noodles and fat...will not order again

Don't eat here if you're on a budget. The food is not that great. Halo-halo ingredients taste stale, ice cream is not even sweet, must be home made. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Had to edit this review, He'a right price of the lumpia is not $23 my apology to the owner. But still not going back.

Stopped by Tindahan Pinoy since I was in the area grabbing dinner for my toddler. Located in the plaza with Dai Thanh Supermarket, on N. Capital Ave, you can navigate this eatery by its happy emoji logo. Tindahan Pinoy offers an array of authentic Filipino dishes such as: corned beef, milkfish, roasted pork, sausages, spam [IYKYK], noodle dishes, & traditional desserts. Being an obsessed lover of Filipino longanisa, I jump on the rare opportunities I get to enjoy this dish and with it being a best seller, I had to stop by. I placed the order for a longsilog plate which included 4pc of sweet longanesa, garlic fried rice, & a fried egg. Unfortunately, this dish and its sausages didn't do it for me. Factoring in these sausages being considered "sweet" the level of sweetness was not sweet enough for me. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment but maybe I'm just really picky when it comes to my Longanesa... The garlic fried was good- nice level of garlicky flavor and rice was cooked well. The slices of tomatoes and cubed were fresh. 3 stars for this experience. I may not want to return for PT's sausage but there are a few Filipino favorites I'd love to sample. Hopefully those will tickle my fancy.

I mean this really really really ( i can't stress enough) really really is great filipino food. man. second time that i've been here and holy moly i wish it was closer. somehow, someway ive never had lechon. but im so glad this was my first time having it. crunchy and tasty. tosilog was hitting crazy. nice balance to the greasier lechon bc of the sweet. always very good garlic rice and i love the veggies with it. also ordered 2 pieces of turon to bring home to mom. a bit sad bc they gave them to me lukewarm at best so i had to reheat them to really enjoy them but the flavor is amazing. trying my best to not go back next week.,,

We came around 4pm on a Sunday and there wasn't anyone dining in, so we got seated right away. I was in awe of how pretty the restaurant was, so the host sat us in the corner with the pretty signage and artificial cherry blossom tree hehe. The menu is very big, which can be a bit overwhelming. We decided to stick to our usual order, short rib/bone marrow fried rice and crispy chicken fried rice, but decided to try the shaken beef fries as an appetizer. The food came out really quick, since it was just us there at the time. The shaken beef on the fries were very tender and just melts in your mouth! When we packed our leftovers, you can see the juices from the beef spilling out lol. My bf gave me some of the crispy chicken skin from his bowl and it was so good; you can hear the crunch when I bit into it! My short rib/bone marrow fried rice was amazing as usual and very filling.
