Salt and pepper calamari is what we always get. There's a small parking area next to the restaurant. We were greeted promptly upon walking in. Wanted to get some calamari for the NYE party at my parents' house and this is what my dad requested. I have never bought it myself before, because my dad always gets it for us but this time I was in the area and he asked me to get it since I was already there. The restaurant has tables and chairs so you can dine in. They offer other dishes as well. The customer service is excellent and friendly. Today we ordered a beef chow fun spicy and an orange chicken entree with it. The spiciness of the beef chow fun was spicy and Smokey. It did need a bit more soy sauce to have a bit more saltiness. The orange chicken was lacking in crunch due to it probably being soggy from the closed container. Other than that, the sauce of the orange chicken is very light and I personally liked how it was not drenched in straight up sauce. Despite the hefty price tag of $25, they give you a HEAPING takeout box filled to the brim with super crispy squid to the point where its closer to a meaty squid chip than the standard breaded calamari you will find at a greek/mediterranean restaurant or some southeast asian establishment. Called them for a last minute Christmas order. We actually love closer to the Milpitas location but their reviews online wasn't all too inviting so we tried this location instead. I inquired about the ordering process and if we needed to pay in advance since it was gonna be a few party trays. Explained that we live far and they were understanding. Told us that as long as we give them at least a 24 hour notice for our order, they could put it together. So we did. Ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, a tray of Vegetables, and a tray of Chow Mein. Food tasted great and everyone loved it! The staff were very nice and accomodating as well! The lady even called us close to pick up time to make sure we were on our way because she said they wanted to prepare the Veggies as close to pick up as possible to it stays hot and not soggy from sitting and boy, they were fresh! We LOVED their fried shrimp, crispy veggie eggrolls, fried chicken wings, house fried rice, beef chow mein, mixed vegetable & tofu, and orange chicken. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Started off at the other location. Was so happy when they moved to this location, which was literally around the corner from where I lived. The owner knew of my family since we would frequent this place, especially after church. She would always ask about my brother, which I think is so thoughtful. I love, love, loooooveee their chicken fried rice. I would always get it as a kid, and will continue to order it. It has always been so flavorful, huge chunks of chicken which I've never experienced elsewhere. I love their beef & broccoli. Irina and I accidentally showed up about 15 minutes before closing, and despite the late hour, we were warmly greeted and treated like royalty. The salt and pepper spare ribs were fresh and perfectly seasoned, the honey walnut shrimp was divine, and the ice-cold beers hit the spot. We even got to try a special drink off the secret menu, which was a fun and delicious surprise. I might of came on an off day from all the reviews, but I ordered the house combination fried rice and the salt and pepper pork spare ribs to go. As soon as I got home, I noticed a rancid odor of old or reused oil. It was not pleasant. First box open the Fried rice, it was coming from the rice. Next box open, salt pepper ribs. It was coming from there also! Extremely disappointed. Mind you, I was a bit surprised at the pieces. There were unusually big. Some pieces shouldn't have been used for the dish. Which means...YUMMY & they stay busy too, even when your there, the phone is busy busy with people calling in to place orders.
