    Salt and pepper chicken wings
    Lisa N.

My aunt bought some salt and pepper chicken wings from here for a family gathering. Wow it looks and smelled amazing! The best part was that it actually tasted sooo good and crispy! It wasn't too oily and had great flavor. I kept eating and wanting more. Apparently they only serve take out items with party trays. This is a great food option for a social gathering and/or parties. I can't wait to visit on my own and try again.

I keep coming back for the chicken wings. I feel I should try something else some time, but for now, I'm happy with what I get. The service is mixed, but the food is great. The ambiance is a takeout place.

the service was really quick and friendly! The ambience was quiet, but I went on a weekday. I highly recommend going on a weekday, so the food comes out quickly. I will definitely come again!

For almost $70, I got two packets of sriracha and no hot oil.

I'm from Sacramento, wanted some Chinese food to eat at the beach, and decided to Google which place is decent. This places popped up and the review was decent, so I decided to try it. I spent almost $70, so I expected the food to be decent but boy was I wrong. The chicken wing batter was extremely hard to chew some were flavorless, and other were salty and a little sour. The sweet and sour pork was tough and batter was also hard to chew. The walnut shrimp was $17.99 and I was shocked that they used Panko breading and the texture was the weirdest thing ever, and it was by far the worst. Kung pao chicken was bland and even Trader Joe's taste better, and that's crazy. However, Chow fun was probably one of the most decent item that I order. I asked the cashier lady if I could get some hot oil and sriracha and she literally blew me off like "yeah, yeah, it's in there." I did give her the benefit of a doubt because honestly, who eats chow fun without hot oil right? And there was none in the bag. If the food was good I wouldn't even complain about her being dismissive or her customer service. I drive all the way to Stockton from Sacramento just for Chinese food and they could be rude at times but the food makes up for it. If I could give this place a zero star I would. Save your money and don't eat here because it's horrible.

FYI - temporarily closed until Oct. 5, 2023 Good for Chinese food party trays, but doesn't accept orders over the phone

Calamari $62.99 for a small tray, but worth it if you like the people you're buying it for :)

Ever watch Seinfeld? Do you remember the soup nazi? That should sum it up, right? But people keep coming cause the food is decent... and they're known for the coveted calamari. So here's a couple of things to know: 1-be prepped with thick skin, it's not personal, there may be some yelling cause it's hard to understand through the mask 2- cash only 3- no place to sit and eat, it's a takeout place 4- the picture menus are helpful so don't expect food splayed out, order then wait 15-20 more minutes for the food 5- calling and trying to reach out is hit and miss 6- the calamari is great (the only reason I'd drive for over an hour is due to family requests from out of town)

I give the food 5 stars. However, friendly they are not. Just order, grab and go. Lady not nice.

I want to come back for lunch so I can get their Yunnan Rose Coffee or Tea Latte. It says on the menu that their coffee beans and tea leaves are from pristine mountains of Yunnan. They do serve coffee for dinner time but I can't take the caffeine at night. The service is above average for a chinese restaurant. The waiter was pretty patience with us as we brought an elderly guest with us at the table so we took a little longer to enjoy our meal. The interior design of the restaurant is pretty interesting where the booth is align an triangular shape with a center piece so the tables can be put together for larger parties very easily. Definitely easier to get a table for parties of 4 or less but it will work out for larger parties as well.

They use shiitake mushrooms and don't hold back -- the portion is generous and the flavor is unreal. I could honestly eat this every single day. The vibe is also a whole moment. Cozy, warm, and gives you that greenery feel without actual plants -- just super inviting and perfect for a chill meal with friends. The Shrimp Rice Rolls are the clear star--the rice noodle is incredibly smooth and thin, which is the mark of a great chang fen. They don't skimp on the shrimp, and the sweet soy sauce ties it all together perfectly. For something heartier, the Wonton Noodle Soup features a very clean, savory broth and snap-to-the-bite noodles. The Pork Congee is also a winner; it's silky, flavorful, and exactly what you want on a cold day or when you're craving something soothing. We also grabbed the Shiu Mai, which were plump and well-seasoned with a great meat-to-shrimp ratio. The kitchen is efficient, and the flavors are consistently authentic. It's a reliable spot for a great quality, traditional meal that never misses the mark. Prices are reasonable and service is fairly quick but there's also a QR code for an optional online ordering for some.

Not just because we were famished, but because it was THAT good. (One of those situations where you stop talking and just eat...) I'd wholly recommend the Oyster Pancake (a balance of briny seafood with sweet pancake sauce) and the Specialty Hakka Noodles ("Q," i.e. chewy, in the most perfect sense). Will definitely make a pit stop in Milpitas for Taiwan Cafe next time in Milpitas and highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a taste of some excellent Taiwanese cooking.
