Meat 1,2 and 4 can only be ordered twice. I didn't like that rule as it wasn't clear to me before I went there. In reality, it was impossible for me to order the meat again because the portion was insanely large. They serve you an entire steak. I was struggling so hard after finishing two entire pieces of steak. I think it would be better if the portions are smaller because it was delicious and fresh.

Best quality ayce kbbq I've had ever, while the menu items may not be as extensive as some of the other ayce kbbq places out there, who cares as this place gives you a huge premium of quality of cuts. Came here with a large party near the beginning of their grand opening. Went through their entire menu and was super impressed by all the items they had here with the short rib being some of the most tender beef I've ever had in my life and their chicken asada incredibly flavorful and tender as well. Loved the chimmichurri sauce they provided and was in awe at how high the quality was at an ayce kbbq. Would definitely come back and would probably make this my regular kbbq spot

Char Haus is the newest AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant on Northern Blvd. The space was formally another Korean restaurant, but is now under new ownership, featuring a completely new concept. Char Haus features quality meat options, like the prime ribeye, fresh prime short rib, and more. Each table also gets an illuminating fire show, which was entertaining to experience. On our visit, we tried to order all the beef options. I enjoyed all of them aside from the bulgogi (personal preference). The prime ribeye was the best cut as it was seared prior and brought to the table to sear some more. The meat was extremely tender and juicy. It paired so well with the sauces provided. It was like a chimichurri with fish sauce, which I used for everything. The marinated short rib w/ bone was also delicious and tender. I could just stick with these two cuts and be satisfied but we had to try the other options. Surprisingly the chicken asado was also quite good and I wouldn't typically order chicken at KBBQs. Overall, at the $48.95 dinner price for AYCE, I'd say it is great value for the quality of meat that other AYCEs do not offer. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Came in on a Saturday night for dinner. Pretty much every table was full. Our sides, we had to remind them to bring missing items out. Our server had gotten so busy that our pork started getting burnt until we just started cooking it ourselves. The steak was extremely chewy, they did not even change our hot plate when it was all burnt and so on. I can understand they were extremely busy and it was definitely a lot of people to serve for just 2-3 servers. My first time coming here it was quiet but i was amazed, second time i was extremely disappointed. We also got seated at what seemed to be the last exhaust fan for the bbq smoke, it was not suctioning ANY smoke whatsoever. I am sure they'd be great on a quieter day, they definitely need more staff!

Steamed egg - fluffy, came out steamy hot, made to order. Part of the AYCE menu.

Newly opened AYCE, reasonably priced on par with every other AYCE. However, what they have better than all the rest is the excellent and tasty quality cuts of meat and a fantastic staff who gave great suggestions, checked to make sure you're okay, cooking the food with a friendly attitude that you rarely get anywhere else. The place is small but does not feel crowded. You're not rushed, asked if you want more food and the staff makes great suggestions and no pressure to rush. We had the ribeye, hanger steak, beef blade, short ribs, pork steak, pork belly, pork jowl. All generous cuts, cooked expertly and they divided up the meats to two plates to ensure both ends of the table could reach the food. There's a brief fire show at the start of your meal. Our guy checked to make sure we were ready before he began and -whoosh- in a blaze, our ribeye was cooked and caramelized and so good, we ordered it two more times. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The staff joked and chatted with us. They seemed genuinely glad we're there. I know we were glad to try this place. We are definitely coming back!

$48.95 for dinner for this quality of beef is a steal. Sadly when I came on a Friday night, they did not have LA Galbi. However, the prime ribeye, prime shortrib, and marinated short rib with bone were delicious. Out of the 3, the marinated short rib with bone was the best. I wasn't a big fan of the sides nor the sauces they provided. I do wish the AC inside was stronger since it was so hot with the live fire show going around and music to be lowered as it was so loud.

Was with family - in the moment and enjoying so I have no photos, sadly. Their alcohol menu consists of beer and wine. Tsing tao and Sauvignon blanc were our drinks of choice - as they were out of both options of sake. To eat - we had a little of everything - the wonton soup, veggie dumplings, pork soup dumplings, the ribs, braised beef noodles, the eggplant dish and ones of the fish. Everything was absolutely delish and the service was quick. They were also out of the dessert we wanted - the green tea cheesecake but we had the pumpkin dessert which was phenomenal! It came out hot and had red bean paste in the middle! Absolutely delicious. Took off one star because there were a couple of things we requested that were unavailable but aside from that the food was delicious and the service was great! Definitely check them out - there are multi locations in the city!

The restaurant itself is clean and well lit--a great place to stop by for a good, hearty meal. We ordered the Lanzhou Beef Noodle and Pork Hamburger. I really enjoyed both dishes. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the beef was delicious. I will say that I wish the broth had more flavor, but it did feel light and clean. The pork hamburger came with a good amount of meat, which I appreciated. It was super juicy and flavorful. The service was quick and attentive, and I felt that the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is near my friend's place. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! The place was a little busy, and didn't take reservations, but we were seated immediately. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was delicious and flavorful, and also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Others had something else I had no interest in to remember the name. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Murray Hill Manhattan. My only complaint was that I noticed a male staff member leave the restroom without flushing the toilet, which took away from an otherwise positive dining experience.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.
