    Drunken Noodles with seafood
    Alex K.

I've had disappointing Thai experiences in this area but someone recommended this place, so we tried it out, and were not disappointed! Happy to find quality Thai food in the area. We had the drunken noodles with seafood (shrimp and scallops), appetizer combo, red curry, and tofu and vegetables. The serving size was plentiful, and there was a great amount of seafood with the drunken noodles. The curry was also delicious. I'm definitely a fan!

There's a reason this place is the most recommended Thai place in Johns Creek! I came here with my family and we were seated right away. For appetizer we went with the chicken curry puffs which were tasty however I wish their was more chicken in them because it felt like I was eating only the puff. For the main course we went with Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, Massaman Curry and Garlic chicken. Each of these came with a vegetable soup which tasted really good because it had a clear broth with some veggies and tofu. The basil fried rice was my favorite dish and by far was the best one I have ever tried. The curries also were very flavorful with a good amount of spice. Overall, the food was amazing and came out fairly quickly. I can't wait to come back here for whenever I want Thai food!

Food is always amazing here.. Service is always on point.. and portions are generous.. great atmosphere.. hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Gwinnett. Today I had the Crab Rangoon and Black Pepper shrimp. It was so yummy! The flavors are so amazing! If you are any where near Johns Creek you definitely need to check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

This little restaurant has wonderful authentic Thai dishes that are delicious and not expensive. My coworkers and I ate there for lunch, I had Red Curry Thai with Shrimp, my co-workers had drunken noodles, and a spicy chicken stir fry dish. They food not only tasted wonderful but it also looked very pretty on the dish.

Garden Vegetables Dinner with Tofu (no onion or carrots, only a few celery pieces)

We have no complaints and give them five stars all the way. Before COVID, I had always wanted to eat at Chaba Thai, though I was never in the shopping center when they were open it seemed. They were most certainly worth pursuing via to-go from GrubHub! The employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had the Steamed Dumplings as a shared appetizer. I was very excited to try them since they use ground chicken! We both loved the dumplings and recommend them - even the dipping sauce was great (and thicker than the traditional kind we're use to receiving). My dining companion had the Coconut Soup with Chicken, the Amazing Dinner with Beef and a Thai Iced Coffee to drink. I am told the soup was excellent and made correctly. If he absolutely had to point out something to change, he might want a little bit more lemongrass. The beef was tender, the broccoli was steamed and the peanut sauce was delicious. He would definitely order it again and not change a thing. The Thai coffee was good and very typical of a Thai restaurant. Normally my go-to with Thai cuisine is Green Curry, so I decided to be slightly different and order the Garden Vegetables with Tofu. I ordered it without onion (due to an allergy), carrots (I don't care for them) and celery (simply because I wasn't in the mood). I found a few pieces of celery in my food, which honestly wasn't a big deal. I added Extra Hot Sauce, which came on the side in two, small containers. I have yet to find anything I consider to be "spicy" but the flavor of it was amazing! My Thai Iced Tea was a perfect compliment to my meal and I loved the strength of the tea! Overall, the food was fresh and delicious to the point where we have found our new Thai restaurant.

The entire experience, here, made our day! We would go back tomorrow in a heartbeat to get 2x as much of the food that we received this trip. Chaba Thai's quality of food and service was phenomenal! The owner, Sudawadee, even came out and spoke to us personally. She had been the chef, working in the kitchen, for at least 15 years..! So you know, the food here is consistent and delicious.

I don't agree with people who said food was bland, it def was not. Chaba thai is a small sized restaurant located right opposite to Regal movie theater. The place was not crowded for a saturday noon. But don't let that doubt the food! I've ordered Chicken Satay, Massaman curry with chicken and Pad prik with chicken. All the dishes arrived hot, they were flavorful and fresh. Positive: The HOT spice level was def spicy (not complaining, this is actually hard to find in westernized thai restaurants these days). The entrees came with a bowl of rice, which is quiet enough to serve 2 people. Negatives: Way too many veggies than meat. There was only one server and the service could have been way better. Also they don't serve any desserts. Overall a decent place to try thai food.

    Drunken noodles, average.

We love it and it's such a nice comfort meal. That said, I have to give it three stars. Over the past few years, I've noticed prices have gone up while portions seem to have gotten smaller. For example, a single piece of roti is now $3, which is steep. I've also experienced some inconsistency in the food--such as the Pad Thai and how saucy/not saucy it can come. Another reason for the rating would be service. On weekdays, we usually have the same server who is friendly and attentive, and those visits are always great. I can't remember his name cause it's been a while since we've been on a weekday. During our recent Sunday visits, the service hasn't been as strong. Tonight, our server checked on us right after the food arrived but didn't return for the rest of the meal. Another server eventually stepped in to check on us and help close us out. Other than those things, I still enjoy coming to SriThai whenever I'm craving Thai food! I also noticed they added a happy hour with $4 beers, $5 wine, $6 cocktails, and $7 appetizers, plus $1 wings on Tuesdays--so I'm excited to check that out sometime.
