3/18/25 Wanted to give this place one last try because it's one of the closest to us. Disappointed. Pineapple fried rice salty. Panang curry too sweet. The mixed appetizer tray was okay. The ube cheesecake was okay. The server we couldn't understand the first thing she told us. We think she asked us what appetizers we wanted. We asked her for Arnold Palmer but she came back with lemonade. Not returning anymore.

I love getting my Thai food to go from here! My favorite is the Beef Short Rib Panang. It's so tender and falls right off the bone, and I love putting that Panang curry on just about anything! The Pad Thai, which used to be my favorite, is a solid dish as well, but the short rib has taken the crown. The appetizers are winners as well: the crab rolls, chicken satay, even the salads. Everything is just flavorful and fresh tasting and I'd be going here way more often if I lived closer. The coconut cake and cheesecake desserts are also fabulous! And the one time I actually ate in the restaurant itself, the service was great and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

I love Thai food. I have been here several times. Dine in and to go. Staff is friendly. I have tried Panag curry, Red curry, Thai Basil fried rice, Drunken Noodles etc. All were pretty good. Ambience is nice. Parking is decent. Prices are ok.

The food was fantastic from the Tom Kha to Shrimp Dumplings, then the Crispy Duck in Red Curry. Been to Thailand and I am very skilled at preparing Thai food. This blew me away! Don't miss this place.

PROs - ambience, location, interiors, many food items were good, price CONs - Serviceeeee, Veg food First timer.. was craving thai food and went to this restaurant. Actually when we entered , it wasnt that packed. only a couple of tables had customers. Service could have been better. Someone took orders right half of the table and didnt ask the other half of table. half table got drinks while other half was waitng. We tried calling them multiple times, but they kept saying "im not assigned to this table" .. atlast after 10-15 mins everyone in the table their drinks. price was ok.. not that expensive. They have a full fledged bar with some decent collection of beers . Food was ok. pad thai was really good. the noodles was a bit thick but it tasted good. vegetarian friend rice was OK. vegatarian food overall was average. Fried tofu was good. satay was good , and soup was also ok. we just loved the fried ice creams to finish things off. that was our favorite. overall a good experience with food, and service could have been better.

Jan 24 - definitely not the same as it was five years ago...Service was focused on taking an order and bringing it out...little more e.g.I had to ask three separate times (two separate people) for lemon. Portions are much smaller and prices much higher. Pad Thai was dry...Massaman Curry Sauce was excellent though the chicken was tough. General complaint - offering an "American" Chicken and Rice Soup (as our Waitress called it) as the Soup of the Day is disingenuous...at least offer something somewhat Thai (or a reasonable up charge for one)... Overall a "Meh" experience, especially compared to the last time I was here...this will likely be my last time here.

The restaurant was packed when we walked in, from what I've heard it is great to have a reservation as we had to wait 20 mins before being seated. There is no waiting area indoors, however they do have a bar where you can be served the full menu if you're dining alone. Their menu is expansive and has a lot of customizable options. They care for your dietary restrictions be it vegan or vegetarian and they make sure fish oil or paste is not added to any broth or stir fries. I highly recommend their pineapple friend rice, it has a smoky flavor and is quite filling. All the food is nicely plated and well served. Their tom kha is also quite flavorful. The ambiance is casual and family friendly. They don't have any stairs and is accessible with wheelchairs and the tables are also appropriately tall. There are accessible stops for parking in front of the restaurant and ample of free parking in the lot. The service is fast. They offer dine in, to go and delivery through all major apps.

Very good food. I ordered takeout and the serving was enough for two meals. The prices are fair and my food was delicious!

I visited Thai basil on the recommendation of a friend while visiting Atlanta for the weekend and boy was it good! The staff was so friendly and inviting and the food was equally as wonderful. They even have cooking classes which unfortunately we couldn't attend. My friend had the cashew chicken while I had the pad pack and they were both delicious and more than enough food for two meals. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well there were beautiful pictures of Thailand on the wall and a bar with dark wood and just overall an excellent place to eat. They even have a cute patio area out to side of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back when in the area.

Came here as I was visiting ATL, and it is just as good as it always has been! This is one of the few places where I always order the same things, just because they are SO good. Everyone needs to try the Panama curry! Genuinely the best Panang you can get in ATL, and definitely also recommend the mango passion fruit cheesecake. The staff is super friendly and we have a great experience every time. 10/10

First, the staff is absolutely amazing. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate a table for 10 and they were happy to oblige. We got there and they had a table ready to go and sat us right away. The waitress was so sweet and really took the time to answer questions and crack jokes with us. Truly made us feel at home in their restaurant. The food was chef kiss! We ordered the shrimp tom kha to start and spicy catfish as the main course. Both were delicious and the spice level was just right. The spicy powder and sauce on the table added a little extra for those of us that tend to like a tad more heat. Other orders at the table: drunken noodles, green curry, red snapper, duck, fried rice, and spring rolls. Everything was so good we barely had any left overs at the end of the meal. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. So glad we got the opportunity to dine with them!

We met the owner during our visit, and she is incredibly kind and clearly passionate about her food. She personally oversees many of the dishes, and it shows in the quality. Up front, Landon handled our service, and he was excellent... friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He deserves a shoutout for the great service. We ordered gyoza and dumplings to start, and both were very good. The dipping sauce they serve is not the typical soy sauce mix you find at most places; it has a sweeter profile and paired perfectly. I also ordered the chicken Tom Kha soup (it's a coconut base broth) and it was outstanding!!! Earthy, full of chicken and mushrooms, and very flavorful. For entrées, my wife ordered their red curry with veggies and it was so good! Plenty on potats that combined well with the rest of the curry meall and rice, and I tried the drunken noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly... not mushy, not overdone, but with a great texture and "snap." The portion size was generous enough that I actually had leftovers, which is rare for me. Desserts were another highlight. The mango sticky rice was excellent, very soft and well-balanced. The coconut cake was also fantastic, with a cream-cheese-style icing and a very moist interior. There are several Thai restaurants in this area, but we truly believe this one stands out above the rest. Great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming ownership. One important note: Google Maps randomly dropped us off you at the wrong location. The correct spot is in the same shopping center as Papa John's off Peachtree Parkway (address shows 1595 Peachtree Parkway). Highly recommended for anyone in or near Cumming. At lunch special. We did get seafood so it bumped each up to $19.95. Lunch special? It would be okay if it were amazing, but it was just pretty good. Unfortunately the seafood was not up to par. The squid pieces were charred and super chewy. I love squid, and yes, its supposed to be chewy, but not so much you can't really eat it. The mussels looked charred and gross and I did not eat it. The curry was tasty, and the drunken noodles were good enough. I think a give away that its not a traditional Thai restaurant is they dont have vinegar and jalapeño, which is pretty much at every authentic Thai restaurant. They only had vinegar. Service was a bit strange. We and one other group were eating but even with 2 staff, it was hard to get their attention. I had to walk up to them because they wouldn't come by or look over. My partner and I decided to try Tani Thai 02.20.2026 and stopped by around 6:30PM for dinner…read more First off, the interior seemed clean and well-kept. The ambiance was dark and intimate, which I appreciated -- it gave the space a cozy, relaxed vibe that felt nice for a dinner date. The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. The dish looked vibrant and colorful, but flavor-wise it felt unbalanced and slightly one-dimensional. Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($18) - 2.5/5 The menu labeled this as spicy as well, but again, there was zero kick. Not even a subtle warmth. It tasted like very standard, plain fried rice -- mildly seasoned, slightly oily, and lacking depth. The fresh Thai basil aroma wasn't very pronounced, and the overall flavor felt muted and underwhelming. The chicken was okay texture-wise, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out or justify the price point. It needed more heat, more fragrance, and more boldness to feel like true Thai basil fried rice. Coconut Mushroom Soup with Chicken ($5.50) - 2/5 This one was disappointing. When it first arrived, it was comforting and creamy with a light coconut aroma. Initially, it tasted balanced and mildly savory. However, as it sat and I alternated between dishes, the flavor became increasingly sour and slightly off-putting. The chicken was extremely dry, stringy, and overcooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The broth lacked the rich, silky depth I was hoping for and ended up tasting thin, overly acidic, and somewhat flat. Thai Teas ($5.50 each) - 3.5/5 Honestly, these saved the night. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing -- exactly what you expect from a good Thai tea. Smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. Water - 0/5 I took one sip and didn't touch it again. It tasted like straight tap water with a faint cleaning solution scent. Thankfully, we had the Thai Teas to rely on. Overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, but the food didn't quite deliver -- especially considering how Thai cuisine is typically bold, aromatic, spicy, and layered. For us, the dishes leaned either too sour or too bland, without much balance in between. Given the prices, we were expecting more depth and stronger flavors. Not a terrible experience, but not one we'd rush back for either.

I was the only one there, which was slightly concerning at first. I was hungry, I ordered egg rolls, and then the tangerine beef and fried rice. The egg rolls are what you'd expect, crispy and texturally perfect. I like adding a touch of soy sauce to get more salt in. Helped bring out some of the vegetable flavors more. The tangerine beef was spectacular. The portion was large, and I shouldn't have eaten it all, but there was no going back.
