Discovered this place because I wanted to eat paranthas for brunch one day. I've tried their mooli (radish) and aloo (potato) parantha, and my favorite is the mooli parantha (it's very similar to how my mom makes!) The paratha is the size of a 12" pizza, it's really bigg! Great for sharing. It comes with white butter, pickle, onions and yogurt. Their salty lassi makes for a nice accompaniment with the food. The lady who took the order was sweet enough to add some mint to it when I by mistake ordered asked for chaach (buttermilk, not on their menu) and she was curious what ingredients typically go in it. Also tried their amritsari kulcha the 2nd time we went. The kulcha comes all buttered on top (maybe one can ask for the butter on the side), it is stuffed with paneer and some green chillies, not spicy. It comes with chhole (garbanzo beans) pickle, onion and yogurt. For me, the spot great for stuffed paranthas! I prefer that over amritsari kulcha. It's a small cafe with a couple chairs, would probably have 8-10 tables inside. The paranthas are definitely better when you eat it right there. We also did take out once and they tasted pretty good at home. read more

Cute little eatery in a corner with a decent number of chat options and standard paratha menu. The pav bhaji was soo good and beyond my expectations. It wasn't oily and it is spicy. Enjoyed every bit of it. The Dhokla was decent but not that great. The small papads that are added in it tasted kind of stale. The gobi paratha was delicious and filling. Overall total worth a try and would come back to try out the thali items in the menu. read more

Small eatery in Redmond area to get some Indian fast food. Typically a take out place than a dine-in, though they have a handful of tables available. They offer chaats, Kulchas, Biriyanis, Rolls, Indo-Chinese, desserts and more. Staffs were pretty busy, but they were friendly and very helpful. Ordered the Mooli Paranthas and the Delux Thali for take out. Roughly waited around 10 minute for it to be ready. Parantha was very good - soft, a little buttery - delicious. The Thali was kind of a let down. Portions were small. Was expecting 3 curries, but were there just two. The vegetable curry was a little spicy, but very delicious, the other one was dahl. The Roti was very soft, but the rice was kind of hard. Looks to be a decent place. But pay $$ for an incomplete order is no fun. read more

Delicious Food! ++ Bhatura was Flat, Dense, and Slick, but otherwise tasty. ++ Rude and Overwhelmed Employees. Just like everywhere else. ++ Portions made no sense. You got too lttle of one thing, and too much of another. Also, No Dhania... -- Clean and tidy. ++ All in all, I give it 4 Thums Up. read more

Chaat Corner - Chole Bhatura w/ Carrot Achaar and White Onions. - Indian Near Me - Redmond, Washington

Been here a couple of times in the last 2 weeks after a good friend recommended it. Their parathas are outstanding, truly authentic and better than any of the other Indian restaurants in the Greater Seattle Area. The gobi and mooli parathas are especially great and stand out. We also got the papdi chaat which was quite good. It was more home style than restaurant style and a generous portion that made it perfect for sharing it with my wife. The Paneer Tikka Roll was absolutely horrible. It was a wet soggy mess of a burrito wrapper instead of a proper roti stuffed with bland tasteless paneer and so much dripping wet extremely sour cabbage with some kind of vinegar and chili sauce mixed it. It was honestly the worst (not) kathi kebab roll I've ever had in my life. Just steer clear of these. We loved the paratha and went back literally 10 days later to get more during which time the price of everything on the menu had increased between 20% to 50%. The new prices are now exorbitant for the price and don't feel worth it which if unfortunate, we were really looking forward to frequenting the place. read more

Five out of five stars! Every time! Which is WAAAAY too hot for us. Seriously. We just cannot eat here anymore. My dinner companion who's very seasoned in the flavors of fine Indian cuisine said: "this is the worst I've ever had." I had to take done left over quinoa out of the fridge to dilute it. I also added extra yogurt from the fridge. Other grievances. The roti was tough & dry. 5p scheduled pickup, 4 min wait for first timer ahead of me asking 20 questions about the menu. 11 min drive home. Only the garlic naan was partly palatable amid the pizza box contents. Paranta soaked in waaay too much oil. Lastly: the knives in the to go box were handle side down: so the business end touches all fingers that reach for utensils... no forks to be found. So why give 5 stars? I don't see how they survive. But the biz is hard enough. If enough people like to burn their tongues: I think they'll do well. It's just too hot for us. We love Indian food. Competition is good. read more

Went here for a chaat craving after park play time. We got paani poori. The theeka pani was very sweet, when I asked whether they had spicy water by itself or whether the sweet was pre-mixed, they said it was pre-mixed. Very sad. I mostly like this place for its Punjabi theeka (spicy) food like parathas and chola bhatoora. However recently, when I went to get a mooli paratha, the dough wasn't rolled all the way and had big chunks of dough in the middle. Food quality and taste have gone down. read more

Terrible experience. Both me and my wife fell sick after eating there. We had samosas and chilly paneer. It felt stale and we had nausea and acidity. I am forced to write this review because it is second day and I am still having stomach cramps. read more

We ordered Dahi Bhallaa: The bhalla was dry inside and crumbly, which is rather surprisinhlg because it should be completely marinated in dahi We also ordered Paav Bhaji: whoever made Paav Bhaji didn't have a clue as to what it is and how it should be made or taste... we were served a sweet small bun with mattar sabzee... it didn't taste or look even remotely like Paav Bhaji We also ordered Aaloo Poori, which was the only decently tasting item on the menu... I feel awful writing a negative review because running a restaurant is really difficult but feeding substandard food to people isn't acceptable either... I am so sorry :( read more

We went with good appetite and seeing great reviews on yelp! The food came on time and looks amazing. As we dig in, it was not living up to its expectations. It was not bad, but just I guess we expected somewhat more. We ordered Papadi chaat, vada pav, gobhi parantha and mango lassi. Papadi chaat was good, and mango lassi great. Gobhi parantha was HUGE and good to taste. Just had green chilies that was not to our taste. We were most let down by vada pav! It was just about ok, Did not have the red garlic chutney it's suppose to have. Somewhere the taste was lagging and I could not finish it. Overall just about average. I would give chaat house better ranking as we have had exactly the same food there and it's definitely better. read more

I used to love visiting Chaat and roll before this management took over. I came here on a whim, craving for some nice Chaat. The service was way quicker than before at Chaat and Roll. I ordered Ragada Chaat and bhel puri. The Ragada Chaat was .good but had too many beet pieces for my liking, hence taking away a star. The bhel puri was awesome and the portion size was huge ! They also had free chai which was kinda nice ! I am definitely coming here back again to try their vada paav and other Chaat items. Plenty of parking in the area. read more

This place is basically Chat and Roll rebranded. What's unfortunate is that quality has heavily degraded over the years. Had the following : Papdi chaat - extremely underwhelming Pav bhaji - bhaji was good, but pavs were very small Gobi Manchurian - this was the one good dish Cholla Bhatura - Bhatura we're nice and fluffy, but chollas we're basically tasteless Paneer parnatha and mooli prantha- again tasteless Overall, will not go again. read more

Located in busy Overlake shopping area with lots of Indian restaurants, this small revamped spot offers a fast food experience at affordable prices. It's all vegetarian with usual chaat, desi chinese and parathas. There's little seating so ordering take away might be wise. I had Gobi Manchurian which was tasty but a bit too sweet. Don't forget the free chai! Will visit again to try other options. Enjoyed the chole bhature on my recent visit read more

The management changed during pandemic and they have very exciting menu now. We have tried many dishes like vada pav, khasta kachori, cutlets, parathas and biryanis and curries and every dish has been very delicious and freshly prepared. Got the paneer paratha and chikoo milkshake. Paratha was just okay, a little dry to be honest. And they sent me mango lassi instead.

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Wanted to give them a negative rating. Let me elaborate why. Ordered a pickup, went there, the order was all packed, asked, the person on counter handed me the bag, came home and opened it and it was all disappointment and no quality food. Thali has missing rotis. Separately ordered paratha was missing. Curry containers were broken and literally leaking stuff. Seems like it was been packed for days and stacked that it broker under weight. Almost all the curries were stale, raita was horrible. Ordered a chat also, within 5 minutes of eating it, stomach started making sounds and what not. The only good thing was rice, had to eat it it raw. Once went to eat there only, at that time, the food tasted ok, but again stomach didn't liked it. Seems like they never serve fresh food :/. read more

I happened to like this place way more than I expected! With a very unassuming ambience, Chaat corner actually offers a delicious assortment of paranthas- the aloo sabji with the platter was better than several other places I typically frequent. The desserts were not particularly great however- I would avoid the rasmalai. We asked for the dahi puri with less dahi which was a great choice in hindsight. Service was fairly quick on the whole. I would definitely go back for a quick bite! read more

Sev puri was not too bad....the tangy sauce they provided was super sour, not the usual kind. Saboodana vada tasted really bad. Reeked of reused/burnt oil. It was also a bit too oily. The saboodana was very soft and mushy. Mango lassi was not that great. Felt like there was too much sugar added to it. I'm not sure what was up with the two owners/owners' parents sitting in the corner looking depressed and staring at all the customers. It was not only uncomfortable, but there was something sad about it. read more

I pick up deliveries from here some times. I've never tried the food because I'm not vegetarian. But I'm sure it's pretty good if you are. Anyway, I'm disabled and walk weird and am a pretty big guy at 6"2'. I walked in here the other night and this little girl who is obviously the owners kid or something called me out immediately. HAHAHA She called me fat and was mocking the way I walk. I had no choice but to call her rude for a little girl and told her she needed to learn some manners. Don't go here unless you are looking sharp and perfect or this little lady will call you out. OMG Hilarious. read more

Their parathas are to die for! This is a totally Punjabi place. Even though they have Bombay and other items in the menu, stick to parathas and you won't be disappointed. On the other hand, their sabudana khichdi is tasty but not what you would get in Bombay. Their chaats are very spicy, and not crisp like the ones at Chaat House. Tasty but not what we expected. Overall, it is super authentic and reminded us of eating on the highways near Delhi (Murthal). Yummy! read more

Good food! We ordered a thali and few chaat items, and they were all really good, except for over of the curries which was way too oily. Bhel Puri could also have used some spice, but it wasn't bad.
