Chole Bhatura w/ Carrot Achaar and White Onions.
Ken M.

Delicious Food! ++ Bhatura was Flat, Dense, and Slick, but otherwise tasty. ++ Rude and Overwhelmed Employees. Just like everywhere else. ++ Portions made no sense. You got too lttle of one thing, and too much of another. Also, No Dhania... -- Clean and tidy. ++ All in all, I give it 4 Thums Up.

Best samosas in the Eastside. The inside doesn't look like much but the decor isn't a reflection of the quality of food. If you're on the hunt for classic Indian street food, come here!

Paani Poori
Shreya P.

Went here for a chaat craving after park play time. We got paani poori. The theeka pani was very sweet, when I asked whether they had spicy water by itself or whether the sweet was pre-mixed, they said it was pre-mixed. Very sad. I mostly like this place for its Punjabi theeka (spicy) food like parathas and chola bhatoora. However recently, when I went to get a mooli paratha, the dough wasn't rolled all the way and had big chunks of dough in the middle. Food quality and taste have gone down.

Added quinoa & yoghurt from home to dilute the excess spice.

Five out of five stars! Every time! Which is WAAAAY too hot for us. Seriously. We just cannot eat here anymore. My dinner companion who's very seasoned in the flavors of fine Indian cuisine said: "this is the worst I've ever had." I had to take done left over quinoa out of the fridge to dilute it. I also added extra yogurt from the fridge. Other grievances. The roti was tough & dry. 5p scheduled pickup, 4 min wait for first timer ahead of me asking 20 questions about the menu. 11 min drive home. Only the garlic naan was partly palatable amid the pizza box contents. Paranta soaked in waaay too much oil. Lastly: the knives in the to go box were handle side down: so the business end touches all fingers that reach for utensils... no forks to be found. So why give 5 stars? I don't see how they survive. But the biz is hard enough. If enough people like to burn their tongues: I think they'll do well. It's just too hot for us. We love Indian food. Competition is good.

Good place for panjabi food , cost is little expensive same as downtown but overall good, you can go sometime for change the mouth taste.

Makki ki roti and sarsoan ka saag
Namrata I.

One of the best and authentic 'makki ki roti' and 'sarsoan ka saag' in the Seattle area. Food tastes like home cooked Punjabi food. Marked 4 star coz kathi roll and sabudana wada from our order was mediocre.

Tasted aloo paratha

Authentic, fresh, and delicious. Portion size Is huge. Worth every penny small place, kind people. True Punjab feel. Must must visit. One paratha can serve 2 easily. Chat is best in town and so is the sarso da saag and makke di roti.

We went with good appetite and seeing great reviews on yelp! The food came on time and looks amazing. As we dig in, it was not living up to its expectations. It was not bad, but just I guess we expected somewhat more. We ordered Papadi chaat, vada pav, gobhi parantha and mango lassi. Papadi chaat was good, and mango lassi great. Gobhi parantha was HUGE and good to taste. Just had green chilies that was not to our taste. We were most let down by vada pav! It was just about ok, Did not have the red garlic chutney it's suppose to have. Somewhere the taste was lagging and I could not finish it. Overall just about average. I would give chaat house better ranking as we have had exactly the same food there and it's definitely better.

I used to love visiting Chaat and roll before this management took over. I came here on a whim, craving for some nice Chaat. The service was way quicker than before at Chaat and Roll. I ordered Ragada Chaat and bhel puri. The Ragada Chaat was .good but had too many beet pieces for my liking, hence taking away a star. The bhel puri was awesome and the portion size was huge ! They also had free chai which was kinda nice ! I am definitely coming here back again to try their vada paav and other Chaat items. Plenty of parking in the area.

Gobi Manchurian
Janaki V.

Located in busy Overlake shopping area with lots of Indian restaurants, this small revamped spot offers a fast food experience at affordable prices. It's all vegetarian with usual chaat, desi chinese and parathas. There's little seating so ordering take away might be wise. I had Gobi Manchurian which was tasty but a bit too sweet. Don't forget the free chai! Will visit again to try other options. Enjoyed the chole bhature on my recent visit

Aloo Paratha

A small eatery where you can get home cooked kind of food. They serve really good parathas, i love their aloo paratha and chole bhature. Will go to this place whenever i am craving for an authentic aloo paratha.

I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. Overall, if you're vegan/vegetarian--or dining with a group that has dietary restrictions--and you're in Bellevue, this place is worth checking out.

This was on a Friday night at almost 6pm and my friend and I came in to a nearly empty interior that filled up throughout our stay. Is it just dinnertime that time or were my friend and I bringing in the crowds? You'll enjoy a very clean and well-kept restaurant with clean tables and chairs, with lighting that's very little but lights up the whole place well. Menu has a lot of offerings (both regular and vegetarian) but since it's dinnertime I decided on a rice dish as usual. I got their beef short ribs rice dish, which has their usual marinated short ribs with a fried egg and veggies. I actually liked how they offered their rice in a separate bowl, and everything else on one plate... which means the meat almost covered my whole plate! By the way, my friend got their grilled pork chop rice dish, and the meat also almost completely covered his plate. Both our meats were marinated so well and held in so much flavor, and came off their bones easily. We both agreed the grilled beef short rib dish I ordered was the winner because of the bolder and more defined marinated taste of the meat. I've tried so many Vietnamese restaurants and almost exclusively get their beef short ribs rice on the first visits of them, but this is the first time I've seen meat portions this huge for a rice dish. I'm thinking of coming back here for another visit even if I have to deal with the tight parking plaza this place is close to.

I went with their Classsic Vermicilli bowl which comes with pork, shrimp, a tiny egg rolls, noodles and cucumbers. It was delicious the pork was very tasty and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. It's a small shop with a great variety of affordable items, and while it's take-out only, the service is incredibly efficient despite the steady stream of customers. The highlight of my visit was the Purple Rice Roll. Made with a blend of black and white rice, pork floss, pickled mustard & turnip, and a Chinese donut (you-tiao), it has a perfect balance of flavors. I love that they make it fresh to order in the back, so you get that wonderful crispy texture from the donut against the chewy rice. I also picked up several other items to go: * Unsweetened Soy Milk (Half Gallon): A staple for me. * Steamed Veggie Bun and Meat & Chive Bun: Both were delicious and very satisfying. * Pork Buns (4-pack from the fridge): These are great to have on hand for a quick meal. The buns are generously filled and offer great value for the price. So we got one Seolleong Tang and one Kalbi Tang. The broths were not the same, the Kalbi Tang broth was quite a bit clearer and plainer. The Seolleongtang came with shredded meat, while the Kalbi Tang had big chunks of meat and bone, it was quite a bit bigger but the broth wasn't the same as promised and was a bit tasteless. Furthermore, when we brought our leftover soups home, neither of the broths solidified when refrigerated. That is a key tell-all, because real Seolleongtang broth made from ox bones and rich in collagen and nutrients would congeal when refrigerated. So I highly recommend not ordering their low quality Seolleongtangs. The banchan dishes were fine, I wish they gave you more options as I would've liked to try some of their other sides to see if I wanted to buy some since they sell the banchan dishes in a refrigerated case. I also got the wings with the onion powder on them very unique and different flavor but way too expensive. Restaurant is small with lots of tables packed in. It felt a little stuffy. They were pretty busy but I didn't have to wait. The service was friendly enough. Overall unfortunately the experience was regrettable. Disappointed because I wanted to like this place but I'll have to drive further away to find better quality Korean food.

Only he has had Peruvian food before so we opted for the prefix V-Day menu to make decision making a little easier. I wish I noted the exact items, but I believe we got a nori cone with fresh fish on top, hamachi crudo, crab ravioli, braised beef with mashed potatoes and veggies, chocolate mousse, and chocolate covered strawberries. Every single item was DELICIOUS with absolutely zero notes from either of us. Our favorite had to be the crudo with the vibrant orange, tangy sauce. Their seafood is all incredibly fresh. For drinks, we got the maracuya sour and hanami whisper. Both drinks were a bit stronger than we expected but we enjoyed them nonetheless. They also had inca kola, though our server did have to check to see if they even carried it. It's a Peruvian soda that tastes exactly like bubblegum. Worth a try! Service: (5/5) Given we were there are such a busy night, the team was absolutely incredible. They were so attentive without being overbearing. More conversational but not in a creepy way haha. The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here
