    Paneer Dilli 6

Have heard so much about this spot! Finally got to go and really liked the food. Some of the dishes were incredible with the true authentic Delhi flavor but few didn't hit the mark. but do wanna try out more of the dishes!! Lychee martini was refreshing however the masala shikanji is a must try! Would definitely get it again over any other cocktail. Chili veg momos was average, didn't really like the sauce and momos were too dry and over fried. Aloo tikki chaat and paneer dilli 6 were absolutely fantastic, must try. Can't wait to try more and find out the best dishes. Little busy spot so will recommend reserving beforehand

First time, visited with family for dinner. Had to make a reservation in advance. Service was very quick, but some of the smaller details like napkins and cutlery, clearing the table could have been better giving fine dining. We ordered a lot of items on the menu , and pretty much everything was delicious. The Chole could have used some more salt and spice, but the kulcha was on point. The dahi ke appetizer was new and an interesting texture, would def order again. The chaap was delicious too. All in all good experience , would go back.

We went to Dilli 6 and had a really good experience overall! We tried the Kachori Chaat, Chhole Kulche, Chhole Bhature, Momos, Malai Soya Chaap, and Falooda. The Chhole Bhature and the Falooda were the absolute highlights--the bhature were perfectly soft and fluffy, the chhole had great flavor, and the falooda was refreshing and delicious. The Kachori Chaat was tasty but a bit on the spicier side, and the Chhole Kulche also had good Delhi-style flavors. The Malai Soya Chaap was creamy and flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The Momos were decent, though not the best we've had. The presentation was nice. Prices felt slightly on the higher side considering the small portion size, but the overall taste made it worth it.

I was recommended to check this place by multiple Indian coworkers and it did not disappoint. The servers were very friendly and did accommodate us with walk-in since we did not have a prior reservation. The ambiance is very chill and it was very clean. It was authentic Indian food, specifically Delhi food. I had never been to Delhi or tried their local food but it was really fun to try their local and unique dishes like the Ram Laddoo and the Choor Choor Nan. The Chicken Dilli 6 we got was also the right amount of spice and very flavorful. It went really well with their garlic naan. The Shahi Tukda was an amazing finish to this meal and I'd definitely recommend it. It's a must visit if you're looking for a new authentic Indian restaurant.

Dilli6 has a nice vibe and decor, but our experience was ruined by poor service. Our group of four had to wait 20-30 minutes after dinner because their payment system showed a "glitch." The person who claimed to be the general manager -- wouldn't let us leave until one of my friends repaid her share (we had split the bill four ways). Three days later, she found out she'd been charged twice. The manager told us we could call him if there were any issues, When called the person did not respond immediately or apologetically!! The whole experience was stressful and unnecessary, especially with a crowd waiting outside on a Friday evening. In short: Great ambiance, but absolutely terrible customer service.

Food - 4 stars Ambience - 3 stars Service - 2 stars Price - $$$ This is our first time here after the previous restaurant at the same location was taken over by Dilli-6 . We ordered amritsari chole kulche, dilli-6 chicken, tawa mutton, aloo paratha and adulation ki chaat. The littlest one loved the dilli-6 chicken with a slightly sweet yet flavorful chicken. The oldest liked his aloo paratha. The hubby loved the fiery delicious tawa mutton. The only thing which was underwhelming was chole kulcha. The portions were small. Considering the price + taste, food definitely felt overpriced. Like the famous gourmet Vinod Dua said - It's good, but I won't be composing sonnets for this. They have freshly redecorated the whole place to give a jazzy Dilli vibe. Definitely deserves the 3 stars. If the layout had been changed I would have rated it 4 stars for Ambience. Coming to the worst factor in my rating - service. They were courteous. However we had to flag multiple times to get water. Same for refills. The food arrived promptly after the order, but I expect the service to be premium for the price they are charging. Also I do agree with one of the previous reviews where they mentioned posturing about how busy they are despite the tables being empty or reservations being held. My suggestions would be to start a yelp wait list for transparency. Else honor present customers first. Would I be back ? Just when I want a change of food. But this will most likely not be my regular places. P.S. - There is a 4% credit card fee. They prefer cash.

My friends and I walked in, got seated right away and within minutes the place started filling up.. clearly word is getting around. It's fairly a new restaurant and seems like off to a great start! We started with the makhhan Murgh Malai Seekh and it was easily the highlight of my meal.. so well cooked, tender and very flavorful. Then we had Chicken Afghani Momo. It's not your traditional momo but it was rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. The only dish that fell short was the Chicken Mughlai Korma.. it needed a bit more salt and the flavors weren't as yummy as I expected. To balance it, Shikanji was so refreshing! So overall good service, good ambiance and a menu with some unique options. I see myself going back!

We dined here on new Year's Eve and around 6pm it was pretty emptier than usual although they filled out very fast. Would highly recommend getting a reservation before coming though. All the food we tried was 10/10 and we liked everything we tried. Ambience is pretty lively and nice. Would recommend checking it out!!

Mutton Keema Chop, $17 menu vs $17.68 receipt - 4 Stars

Dilli-6 took over the restaurant space vacated by The Turmeric Kitchen. The restaurant basically migrated from Bengali food to Delhi food, hence the 'Dilli' name; they call themselves "unapologetically Desi". We were indeed the only non-Desi customers. The general layout of the restaurant is the same with different wall décor and different bar area. The inside is fairly loud and just as dimly lit with little rechargeable table lamps for mood/ambience lightning. We (2) walked in without reservations at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The hostess (possibly owner) did the song and dance of "let me check the reservations to see what table is available" while I eye more than half the restaurant space is empty. I hate that kind of posturing. Anyway, surprise, they can sit us right away. Insert eyeroll emoji. When taking our order, our server noted hubby's less-spicy (2 stars) request, while I can handle spicy (4 to 5 stars). Because of my comment about spiciness, the server recommended two non-veg dishes. I opted to add one instead of replacing what I already chose. When the food arrived, neither of the two spicy dishes were in fact spicy. I should have said something sooner. I thought I might get an after-kick. Nope, not spicy. When I brought it up to the server's attention, he just said I must have some super spicy tolerance and walked away. No, I am pretty sure the kitchen toned down all dishes instead of only one dish. Sigh. Their prices are quite a bit higher for less food. They are still tweaking the menu. The receipt's prices are tens of cents higher than menu prices. See both photos. It feels like fraud. The Food: Mutton Keema Chop, $17 menu vs $17.68 receipt - 4 Stars Menu: Goat keema chop fried in desi ghee I didn't realize the meat is literally chopped, as in nearly ground meat. (I had chop as in an American pork chop in mind which is one whole piece.) I don't typically like the texture of grounded meats, but the seasonings and the chutney made this chopped dish tasty and worthwhile. There is a slight kick to the sauce. This dish was a pleasant surprise and would order again. Dilli Butter Chicken, $23 menu vs $23.92 receipt - 4 Stars Menu: Butter chicken from the kitchens wehre it was invented This was hubby's "mild" requested dish. This dish is served with them pouring the sauce in front of you, so you can see the bottom of the bowl doesn't have a lot of meat. Nonetheless, the dish is well prepared and tasty. The price is definitely higher than other places. Mughlai Chicken Korma, $23 menu vs $23.92 receipt - 2.5 Stars Menu: Old Delhi famous chicken korma This is supposed to be spicy. It most definitely is not. It is also quite oily. Without the spiciness, the dish tastes incomplete. I tasted the oil more than I tasted the seasonings. I took the majority home to be modified, including draining oil and adding spices. This $23.92 dish has only one chicken hindquarter. That is a lot of money for one skinny hindquarter. Bhogal Ke Choley Bhaturey, $22 menu vs $22.88 receipt - 2 Stars Menus: Famous choley bhaturey of Bhogal market Junpura Delhi This is the additional dish I ordered per the server's recommendation. Again, it was not spicy. I was very underwhelmed by this dish. Oil is once again pooling at the top (you can see in the photo). Chickpeas are presumably slow-cooked in the style of the Bhogal night market seasoning. Without the spiciness, I don't know what am I tasting other than the oil. The breads are fried, and they arrived big and puffy. I tasted some of this dish but took most home to be modified. Choor Choor Naan, $8 menu vs $8.32 receipt - 4 Stars Flaky and crispy hand crushed naan. It really is quite good! It is crispier than the typically plain naan. Steamed rice, $5 menu vs $5.20 receipt - 2.5 Stars Unlike most Indian restaurants in the area, none of their dishes comes with rice. This is plain white basmati rice. The rating denotes the fact that I even have to pay for rice considering the cost of each dish. One order is enough for the two of us.

Visited on a Sunday evening with an online reservation since the place gets crowded. Vegetarian options are limited but good; non-vegetarians have plenty to choose from. There's also a bar. The food was delicious. The Aam Panna Mojito was amazing -- we kept reordering it. Nalli Biryani was generous in portion and flavorful. Kadhi Pakoda was good, and the Amritsari Fish Pakoda with fries was tasty. Desserts were solid too -- Shahi Tukda (would've been better warm) and Giani Falooda were both enjoyable. Overall, a good spot for great food, especially for non-vegetarians.

I'd heard a lot about Dilli 6 and the place absolutely surprised me. There is quite a wait, so please be prepared for that and plan accordingly. The ambiance is quite nice and quirky and the food is delicious. Some of the most authentic Indian food I've had in the area. Everything I had was finger licking good. The momo soup was warm and comforting, the kulcha, was crispy and paired amazingly well with the chole. Last but not the least, the daulat ki chaat was like a cloud. So light and airy. Highly recommend!

Made a reservation for Sunday dinner at 6:30pm but had to go sooner and they accommodated the request. Ambiance: The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that blends traditional Indian decor with modern touches. It's cozy yet vibrant--perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. We had decided to try mainly the appetizers and so we ordered accordingly. Food Highlights: Khajur ki chutney wale golgappe- the server mentioned its not the traditional pani puri. We ordered after reading the description it was full of flavors ,I felt it was a mix of sev and dahi puri. Makkhan Murgh Malai Seekh- it was moist and rich in flavor. Hakka Noodles- had a mix of crispy fried noodles and noodles which were amazing. The portion sizes are smaller but they are flavorful. The menu is extensive, offering everything from classic curries to fusion snacks. Drinks-Aam panna mojito was not up to my expectations I felt it was more of ice and less flavors. Mango lassi was rich. Desserts- I wanted to try Daulat ki Chaat. It was light and felt like eating the foam. The foam had melted and was watery at the bottom. I felt it could be more stiffer and chilled. I liked it as it was very light and I did not feel overloaded. Service: Staff was attentive and friendly . The service is prompt and welcoming. If you're looking to celebrate something or just indulge in a flavorful escape, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Went to this place on Saturday evening and it was crowded for 6pm. Recommend going early or having reservation. We were seated pretty quickly. We ordered the chole kulcha and also dhaba chicken. Dhaba chicken was good but chole were bland. They have fancy drinks but nothing looked that good. The place is pretty and has plenty of seating and staff is nice and provide suggestions!

    Do they do take away?

They don't do takeaway or delivery. Their logic is that to-go orders mess up the consistency since the chefs would have to rush dishes, and I get that. Still, if you really want takeout, you have to dine in, get a table, order food, ask for boxes,… Read more

Gulab jamun was good, no complaints Idk if its a seattle thing, but everything is REALLY PRICEY up here. Chai one cup for 5.99 is just mindblowing.
