We really loved this place! The servers were really kind and thoughtful to children so def very kid-friendly. The food was excellent- they even made me a vegan saag which I hadn't had in so long and missed. My husband ate some goat dish and said it was excellent. The ambiance is very relaxed and pretty. The servers were very attentive and helped with anything we needed. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think one of the waiters came out of the restroom without washing his hands and because the back of the restaurant just looks kind of messy...there were boxes in tables and it sort of ruined the trendy ambience of the rest of the restaurant but otherwise, we think we'll be back here much more often! Shaam savera Kofta - this is a spinach and paneer kofta in gravy. The sabzi was tasty but 1. Couldn't taste much spinach in the kofta, barely any flavor 2. The koftas were quite dry, so I would have liked more gravy with it. In the picture it seems like there's a lot of gravy, but it's actually less. Garlic naan was soft, so good there. We got this recommendation from our Indian friends while talking about good Indian food so naturally I was excited. We need We up getting the Chana masala since they didn't have a malai kofta (though maybe their jackfruit kofta was similar). I have never been a big fan of Chana mandala but my wife is and she liked it a lot. Perhaps it was just that I am not as much into Chana madala but I'm not sure if it deserved the high praise that our friends said but it was still pretty good. Would highly recommend the Dahi Puri and Jackfruit Kofta - very refreshing, new and flavorful. Tikka Paneer in appetizer was also good but a little dry. For appetizers we ordered the Pani puri shots, and Jackfruit cutlet. Pani puri hit the spot; had all the right flavors. For drinks I had the Masala Mojito; supremely refreshing. For main courses we got the vegetarian biryani and Paharganj ke choley. Biryani has the perfect amount of heat; good flavors and perfectly cooked rice and veggies. Came here for dinner on a Friday. The interiors were beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly. We ordered pani puri shots, palak paneer, lamb korma, and butter chicken. The entrees didn't come with rice or nann bread, so we ordered garlic nann and butter nann. They were all very delicious in general. It was my first time trying pani puri shots, and I found them amazingly refreshing! Lamb korma was creamy and only came with mild flavor; I wish it could have been spicier to my personal liking. One of the dishes that's definitely worth mentioning is their Dahi Puri - not the typical one but has some wonderful burst of flavors. Their naans were very fresh - probably the most fresh I've had from amongst many good Indian restaurants. Their bhaturas (Chole Bhature) were very fresh too but Chole itself lacked that Punjabi flavor and was more on the basic side! We also ordered their Malpua but it had a stale flavor to it and almost seemed like store bought microwaved version so we ended up returning that to the kitchen - they were happy to accept that back and not charge us when we gave them the reasoning. Recently dined at this newly opened Indian place in Kirkland. I think they replaced Guilt trip . They have ample parking and the food was decent but a little on the pricier side. We tried their Soya Chaap: For our appetizer, we tried the Soya Chaap, which is a soya based preparation and is prepared like Paneer Tikka with a charred flavor. It looked good but I wasn't super impressed with the flavors - would suggest skipping it Jackfruit Kofta: For main course, we started with the Jackfruit Kofta, which, to my surprise, was like a mystery novel - you had to hunt for the jackfruit flavor. It was more of a Malai Kofta in disguise! Sneaky, but still tasty. Kadai Paneer: Loved it! It was like a fireworks display in my mouth - spicy, tangy, and oh so satisfying.
