A bit late with this review, but we stopped by on a dreary day and it was a fabulous way to warm up! Walked right in and were immediately seated. The inside is cute, cozy, and very clean. Even though I'm not even vegan, I was incredibly impressed by their excellent menu selection! Here is what we tried Appetizers of Veggie Tempura which was nicely cooked and super crisp. I wished there was a bit more variety in the vegetables, but absolutely none of it was soggy! Great batter-to-veg balance My husband ordered the mushroom soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion size was generous that he saved half for leftovers! I ordered the Tom kha which was tasty and beautifully balanced. You can taste the complex variety of fresh flavors and vegetables. Also ordered to tie iced tea this made with coconut milk and it was absolutely delicious! Perfect creamy sweetness. We both ended up taking containers home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comforting, flavorful meal and reducing meat products in their diet.

Came here for a team lunch since I have a lot of vegetarian coworkers, and they picked this spot. As a non-vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised--I still felt really satisfied with the food thanks to their tofu and plant-based meat options. I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. Overall, if you're vegan/vegetarian--or dining with a group that has dietary restrictions--and you're in Bellevue, this place is worth checking out.

I've been to Araya's a few times, so they were due up for a review. I came for lunch and was impressed yet again. I was in the mood for soup so I tried something new to me. I had the tom yum soup - 4 stars Not too spicy, they weigh she commented on the four stars made me think I'd regret it but I'm glad I went with four stars for spice and perhaps next time I'd even go to five star spicy. ($17) Old town Bellevue off Main has street parking and a parking garage. However, the area is very popular so parking can be challenging. Service was fantastic. When we came in, they acknowledged it was cold out and had one side of the restaurant that was warmer & offered any table to sit at.

My all-time favorite! I stumbled upon Araya's Place in 2023 when I decided to go vegan, and honestly, they made the transition so easy I forgot cheese was even a thing. The staff and cooks clearly put more love into these dishes than I put into my own morning coffee. Located right in the heart of downtown Bellevue (with actual parking behind the building--a literal miracle), the space is gorgeous and filled with natural light. Pro tip: the floor-to-ceiling windows can get a bit drafty, so either bring a sweater or do what I do and order a bubbling hot pot to act as a personal space heater. The Drunken Mushroom noodles and Hot and Sour soup are non-negotiable, and the two-layer chocolate cake is decadent enough to make a carnivore weep. Go once, go twice, go every Tuesday. I'll probably see you there.

One of the best things about this place is the top-notch customer service. They're so friendly and always ready when you need them. I kept coming back here because of them. I had tried several stir-fry noodles before--they were the best--so this time I picked Araya's noodle soup. I recommend choosing the thin rice noodles since they absorb the broth most effectively; I made a mistake choosing the wide ones, so don't be like me. The broth is great, but the toppings (veggies) don't blend together. The vegetables are fresh, but each has its own taste, which makes the whole bowl feel like a war of veggies. If the chef is reading this, I suggest they try stir-frying the veggies until they turn lightly golden before pouring the broth over. That way, the "raw" taste could be eliminated, leaving room for flavors to blend together better. The benches are a bit too tall for the table. I hope they can adjust them so that customers don't feel lower back pain while eating, especially for a soup dish.

Service was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating. We were in a hurry to get to an event and our server did everything he could to help us achieve that goal. We got the Fried rice and the Sweet-and-Sour Tofu; both were gorgeous and scrumptious. The restaurant is super clean and bright and has a lovely atmosphere.

Updating to 5 stars after our most recent visit here. We got two lunch specials and the portions were HUGE. The food tasted fresh and they were generous with vegetables and tofu.

It was so awesome to have a fully vegetarian Thai restaurant! their service is great, friendly and welcoming. Dimmer lights in the interior with cozy plant decor on the walls. Very nice and comfy decoration overall. I adore friend tofu with peanut sauce. theirs was fantastic, crispy outside and soft inside the tofu was cooked perfectly. My only qualm, the food is often underseasoned. Even with level 5 spicy, my party and I found our food to be a little flat. However, this was not enough of an issue to keep me from returning. I was very happy with my time there and would gladly visit again.

How did I convince 7 of my coworkers to try a vegan Thai restaurant? I don't know but I'm glad they trust my opinions because ARAYA's PLACE DELIVERED in excellent and above and beyond service, food portions, and most importantly TASTE. Blind folded, you would struggle to believe that the Pad See Ew or Pad Thai is all vegan! Well seasoned and garnished to perfection, our group of 8 ordered spring rolls, dumplings, the Pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. There were no leftovers because this corporate team devoured everything on the table! The Thai Tea was refreshing and for $5 in Downtown Bellevue, that is an absolute steal. I am beyond impressed with Araya's Place and so appreciative that a fellow Yelper recommended me this place to take my team. Enjoy the photos!

Ive always liked this place especially since its fully vegan. The ambience is charming and great for a casual dinner as well as datenight. I can get busy but the ladies are effiecient and service is quick. We generally liked everything we tried but you cant go wrong with any of the curries or pineapple fried rice.

Got a chance to hang out with a vegetarian friend for dinner and we picked Araya. I haven't been back here for ages and it was surprisingly refreshing. I enjoyed the tofu skewers with the wonderful peanut sauce. My son enjoyed the curry and our friend cleaned his plate. Service was wonderful. It's such a cozy friendly restaurant perfect for holiday gatherings.

If you're looking for some great Vegan Thai food, then araya's should be on your list. The place whips up delicious and flavorful Thai vegan dishes. My favorites are the Tom Yum Soup and the mango salad. They're so so delicious. The place can get busy on weekends, so plan accordingly. The service is however pretty quick. And the ambiance is cute. The tables are pretty close but apart from that, a nice place and one that I frequent quite a bit!

Super delicious vegan Thai food! Love the rustic ambiance and personable service, the restaurant was a bit chilly but there were heaters around the restaurant. Street parking is limited but there's a garage nearby. Mango Salad was okay, avocado was +$5 but didn't do much for the dish. I wish papaya were incorporated into the recipe, the mango slices were rather large, soft, and ripe. Pad Thai was super delicious! I would come back for it and to try more dishes.

I rarely visit vegetarian restaurants, so I ordered based on the pictures on the menu. I wanted to try the Purple Yam Soup after the server confirmed that it would be very fulfilling, but they came back and said it wasn't available that day. One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.

After being recommended Bellden Cafe by a foodie friend for a quick meal, we headed over to get some takeout to eat during the game. Mr. Brioche ($11) - This sandwich starts with a rich toasted brioche bun, which is then slathered with some creamy and fatty aioli. A soft and tender, spiced breakfast patty is placed on top, charred just a tad to give some browning and develop flavor. Some eggs, cooked on the flat top in a circular mold which makes it perfectly conform to the size of the bun, is carefully placed on top of the meat, and then finally some swiss cheese cements the sweet vegetal microgreens atop. The bun is voluminous, especially noteworthy in height. The interior ingredients only reaches perhaps 1/3 the height of the bun, making it appear that the sandwich will be dry. But that's an impression soon deemed to be false, as there's more than enough moisture from the aioli and melted cheese to smooth things over. (4/5) I don't normally associate cafes, particularly ones that seem to lean more towards the drink side of things, to also serve good food. But overall, I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food I ate. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

Both dishes were quite tasty and the presentation was excellent but Kimbap was cold (I guess that is okay but it should really be served just slightly colder than room temp) and the sides that came with Rosé Teokbokki were premade stuff from Young Ocean or another vendor, not housemade. Also the sauce for Rosé had "Korean Corn Soup" in it. I love the Korean Corn Soup but it's a cheap instant stuff you can buy at any Korean Grocery. Service/Venue/Ambiance - 3 stars. Food came out pretty fast and the server was okay. The space was pretty big and we didn't have to wait to be seated (Sunday 11:30am). Price/Value - Negative 5 stars. 20 dollars for what we got is quite ridiculous. Terrible value! Half the food we ate wasn't even made in house. An extra side of the chipotle aioli is a must for me! In general I like extra sauce for just about everything. But with all the somewhat starchy ingredients it can be a little on the drier side. So I suggest ordering extra sauce to balance the textures out. My boyfriend who is a meat eater wasn't a big fan of the eggs but did like the sandwich without them. We were both very full! You could definitely eat half and save the other half for later. Though it's a little "pricy" for just one sandwich. With all the ingredients, you're paying for a full breakfast just stacked on one sandwich! And you're also supporting a local business, which I love to support our community. Next time I'd like to try a Classic Impossible Burger!

Sauzage Vgmuffin: I crave this thing on the weekly. Full of flavor and so filling. That sauzage flavor just burst in your mouth. Bakon Vgmuffin: also quite good in its own way. Fsh filet: very tasty and worth getting. Plenty of sauce on this thing. Yum! Classic burger: I was never a burger person. But this was so good and will get it again. French fries: getting it hot and fresh, salty goodness. First thing I eat after I pick up my food. Now, I ordered online on their website and in 20-30 min my order is ready. They have a tiny parking lot but usually you can find street parking. The entrance has a display of all the restaurants and you push the call button and someone will come out and bring your grub. One of the times I ordered, I came late to pick up my food and assuming it was the owner, he said my fries got cold and if I waited 5 min he could make me a fresh batch and gave me ketchup too. That was so kind and thoughtful and very much appreciated. Overall, I love supporting small businesses, and the food is delicious. How can I not support my fellow vegan viet business owner. Order some food! You will not regret it.

The second time I came I got to try strawberry, the smoked salmon one, and the fried shrimp one. I love the taste of white bread and cream! It reminds me of my childhood, when I use to make ice cream sandwiches with white bread. The sweet flavors are so delicious and nostalgic, whereas the savory flavors are so delicious and makes a perfect morning snack. The smoked salmon reminds me of a lox bagel but in a sandwich form. The fried shrimp one was recommended by the worker and it was tasty! This place is definitely on my list the next time I am in town! Come early for more options!

The one that I like the most was the pork cutlets, even if it was cold it was good. The savory options were not too sweet which I liked. Not a huge fan on the salmon tho. The only issue I had was definitely the portion, it was small. It seems big in the photo and display but the one you get it small. When u open the sandwich the filling and bread ratio is kinda small, which was disappointing because it's kinda pricey. A nice place to try a lot of flavors, definitely recommend.
