    Araya's noodle soup

One of the best things about this place is the top-notch customer service. They're so friendly and always ready when you need them. I kept coming back here because of them. I had tried several stir-fry noodles before--they were the best--so this time I picked Araya's noodle soup. I recommend choosing the thin rice noodles since they absorb the broth most effectively; I made a mistake choosing the wide ones, so don't be like me. The broth is great, but the toppings (veggies) don't blend together. The vegetables are fresh, but each has its own taste, which makes the whole bowl feel like a war of veggies. If the chef is reading this, I suggest they try stir-frying the veggies until they turn lightly golden before pouring the broth over. That way, the "raw" taste could be eliminated, leaving room for flavors to blend together better. The benches are a bit too tall for the table. I hope they can adjust them so that customers don't feel lower back pain while eating, especially for a soup dish.

Updating to 5 stars after our most recent visit here. We got two lunch specials and the portions were HUGE. The food tasted fresh and they were generous with vegetables and tofu.

It was so awesome to have a fully vegetarian Thai restaurant! their service is great, friendly and welcoming. Dimmer lights in the interior with cozy plant decor on the walls. Very nice and comfy decoration overall. I adore friend tofu with peanut sauce. theirs was fantastic, crispy outside and soft inside the tofu was cooked perfectly. My only qualm, the food is often underseasoned. Even with level 5 spicy, my party and I found our food to be a little flat. However, this was not enough of an issue to keep me from returning. I was very happy with my time there and would gladly visit again.

Ive always liked this place especially since its fully vegan. The ambience is charming and great for a casual dinner as well as datenight. I can get busy but the ladies are effiecient and service is quick. We generally liked everything we tried but you cant go wrong with any of the curries or pineapple fried rice.

How did I convince 7 of my coworkers to try a vegan Thai restaurant? I don't know but I'm glad they trust my opinions because ARAYA's PLACE DELIVERED in excellent and above and beyond service, food portions, and most importantly TASTE. Blind folded, you would struggle to believe that the Pad See Ew or Pad Thai is all vegan! Well seasoned and garnished to perfection, our group of 8 ordered spring rolls, dumplings, the Pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. There were no leftovers because this corporate team devoured everything on the table! The Thai Tea was refreshing and for $5 in Downtown Bellevue, that is an absolute steal. I am beyond impressed with Araya's Place and so appreciative that a fellow Yelper recommended me this place to take my team. Enjoy the photos!

Got a chance to hang out with a vegetarian friend for dinner and we picked Araya. I haven't been back here for ages and it was surprisingly refreshing. I enjoyed the tofu skewers with the wonderful peanut sauce. My son enjoyed the curry and our friend cleaned his plate. Service was wonderful. It's such a cozy friendly restaurant perfect for holiday gatherings.

Food was delicious!!! I'm not vegan, but I was very satisfied with the amount of fresh veggies in the dishes. Also, the portions are HUGE. I went with a group of 3 and we shared every dish but still had to pack it all to go. The inside is nice and cozy with heaters to help with the cold weather. The servers were sweet and attentive. They were kind enough to give us complementary fresh rice with all the leftovers we packed up. I'm obsessed with the curry noodles! Definitely need to return soon!

If you're looking for some great Vegan Thai food, then araya's should be on your list. The place whips up delicious and flavorful Thai vegan dishes. My favorites are the Tom Yum Soup and the mango salad. They're so so delicious. The place can get busy on weekends, so plan accordingly. The service is however pretty quick. And the ambiance is cute. The tables are pretty close but apart from that, a nice place and one that I frequent quite a bit!

Super delicious vegan Thai food! Love the rustic ambiance and personable service, the restaurant was a bit chilly but there were heaters around the restaurant. Street parking is limited but there's a garage nearby. Mango Salad was okay, avocado was +$5 but didn't do much for the dish. I wish papaya were incorporated into the recipe, the mango slices were rather large, soft, and ripe. Pad Thai was super delicious! I would come back for it and to try more dishes.

Uff! What can i say about this place. Amazing restaurant, friendly staff and great food. To top it all off, so many options!!!!! It's vegan restaurant which is great for folks who are vegetarian and needs to be cautious of fish oil in thai curries. We ordered a couple of things- tofu satay, pot stickers, spicy noodles and thai curry. Everything was just amazing. Quantity is really good. I am definitely going to go there again. Lunch is a good time as wait time could be little less. And it's in Bellevue downtown like what an amazing location. Okay, i think someone reading this post will now understand that I absolutely liked this restaurant.

Went here for an early dinner at 5:30 and LOVED IT! The appetizers are huge and highly recommend the curry. The noodle dishes are strong and flavorful. We sat outside which was a little busy, but inside is quaint and well spaced

I can't believe I hadn't eaten here before. I've never had vegan Thai food and let me tell you, this was beyond delicious! I ordered so many dishes to try, and none of them disappointed. It's a cute little corner place, plenty of seating, both inside and out. Prices are great for the quality and quantity of food! Staff were super patient with ordering and food came out pretty quickly. I got panang curry, pad Thai, fresh rolls, and pineapple fried rice. Loved the food sooo much! Will definitely be back.

Indeed, this place is quite adorable, great for girls' night out or date night. They have a sizable full bar for the boozers. Service was fine and kept our water filled. The restaurant is good overall except menu prices run about a buck or two more than my usual Thai places. I suppose that pays for the decorations. Noodle dishes have a sizable markup if switching proteins at $5 beef, prawns, or $8 seafood. Perhaps they use higher quality sources. This location has their own parking. The Food: Crying Tiger, $27.95 - 4 Stars Menu: Grilled glazed marinated New York strip steak Super cute presentation that is also eye-busy, made me pause to think "where do I start." Beef is tender. The side salad is refreshing. Shu Chee Salmon, $27.95 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Grilled wild caught skin-on Alaska salmon in creamy red curry paste with bell pepper, basil I was bummed when I saw this. The fish is breaded and deep fried. I have ordered curry salmon from many area Thai restaurants. This is the first fried version. So unnecessary. The rest of it is good. I quite like the steamed broccoli to accompany the protein. Koong Oob Woon Sen - 4 Stars Menu: House special bean thread noodle with prawns, mushroom, celery in sweet ginger sauce I am a fan of bean thread noodles, aka crystal noodles or clear noodles. This is a common dish found in Thai restaurants. Bouncy, chewy noodle is served on spinach. Their version is less greasy than another restaurant that serves it in a hotpot. This visit is from first half of 2025. Prices are updated to current.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

My favorite dishes are the PHAD SEE EIW with chicken ($16.25) and the THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD (cooked medium) ($20.50). The PHAD SEE EIW has the perfect sauce balance of sweet and savory flavors and comes with broccoli and carrot. The noodles are super long and wide so you know they are fresh and not from the box. The THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD definitely has a kick to it. This dish comes with raw cucumbers, carrots, onions, and basil and is served in a tangy and umami fish sauce vinegar mix. The beef is extremely tasty, tender, and well-marinated. This past visit, my friends and I also tried two new dishes that I've never had at Isarn before- their CHIANG MAI NOODLES (aka Khao Soi) ($17.25) and the MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL ($16.50). The CHIANG MAI NOODLES were beautifully presented with a nest of crunchy egg noodles on top of a creamy yellow curry with soft egg noodles underneath. It was served with pickled mustard cabbage and onions for extra punch of flavor. The MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL reminded me of Vietnamese larb. However, this dish was more savory and less tangy than larb and the basil really shined through. It is quite oily though so make sure to enjoy it with a side of JASMINE RICE ($2.75). Portions are generous for all dishes and I always leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and trendy. It's a great place for catching up with friends and not too loud. I will say the restaurant is a bit on the darker side, but that's just how they set the ambiance. Service was good and we got our food promptly within 15-20 minutes after ordering. It took a bit of time to waive the waiter down for to-go boxes, but they were attentive otherwise. Note that Isarn doesn't take reservations and it's street parking only. Crunchy outside with tender shrimp and sweet chili sauce - a perfect appetizer to share. Isarn Fried Rice (4.25/5): A fried rice unlike any other. Was my personal favorite dish of the night. The rice kernels were separated into individual grains and coated in grease in the best way possible. I'm a kale hater, but the combination with salted eggs and the purposefully chewy fried steak pieces was just super delicious! Northern Style Sweet Curry (3.75/5): The curry itself is fantastic: super balanced between savory, fragrant, and sweet. The steak chunks unfortunately were just a bit overcooked and chewy. Durian Sticky Rice (4.25/5): Sticky rice has a super satisfying chew and I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Durian itself was sweet and creamy with just a touch funk.
