We normally love vegetarian Chinese food, but the flavor of the food here was lacking a bit to me. We ordered noodles with "chicken" for our daughter (who only seems to like ramen and chow mein) and a tofu and veggie dish. The dishes were full of veggies which was great but the sauces were very bland. It is likely they were trying to be really healthy, so the salt level was low and I doubt they use any MSG. This is a great place if you are looking for healthy, veggie forward food. We also enjoyed the mock meat because it is really hard to find that in this area. read more

Met a gf here for lunch recently and was excited for this new vegan find. Well, color me unimpressed. The space itself is a cute and clean strip mall spot. The ordering sucked big time. Scan the QR code and order online, then someone will come and verify your order, then they'll bring you your food, and then they'll come and bring you your bill at the end. Sounds simple enough, but: 1) I already hate the QR code menu thing. Just let me not be on my phone please! and 2) It wasn't clear that everyone at the table has to order from the same phone, so when the server came to confirm our order only my friend's was on there. (Where did mine go??) Our server was not helpful and would not add my order manually, and instead she just walked away while we struggled to re-add mine. Then no one came back to confirm it went through to the kitchen, so I got up to check and she seemed confused about why I would even need to make sure because obviously they got it... We were the only people in the whole place, by the way, so it's not like they didn't have the time for this. Anyway, all that was very annoying. So the food came out quickly and was disappointing. Gloopy, gloppy, bland. I had the Combo #1 with corn chowder, egg roll, General tso's chicken & rice. The egg roll was the best part but it was so greasy. I picked away at the rest of mine and sent it home with my friend thinking maybe her kids would eat it (kids like bland food, right?). Was hoping for a decent replacement to Bamboo Garden, but sadly this is not it. What a bummer. read more

I have to make sure i have the right place. Because a lot of people are calling this place "vegan" when their website indicates "vegetarian" - very different. Regardless, I wouldn't eat here again. I found the food to be very bland and uninteresting. If you're looking for unimproved vegetarian cuisine, this would be the place. i just didn't find any dish worth revisiting. The service was great! Noticed this spot had turned into a Vegan restaurant not too long ago and was so excited to try. My first time I ordered takeout with a friend and loved it so much, I went back the next day to dine-in! Everything I've tried so far has been excellent - the general tao's dish, kung pao, dry pot, and sweet and spicy eggplant were all excellent. My only caveat is that the photo showed stir fried eggplant, but it ended up being breaded/fried. I also tried both the mango cheesecake and chocolate cake, which were INCREDIBLE. I wish they weren't quite so expensive, it was almost as much as the entrees for the mango cheesecake when I ordered a slice the other day at around ~$15. The food was excellent though, I can't wait to try more of the menu!! The service was incredibly friendly and the inside is really quiet and decorated nicely. I'm happy this spot is nearby and recommend to any vegetarian/vegans :) read more

Food was decent enough, but the upselling by the lady there (perhaps the owner?) was INCESSANT. We'd order 5 plates, she'd come and push us to order more (for 3 ppl...) Then she'd be back before the food arrives, trying to get us to order some drinks. Once the meal was finished, she'd come back and keeps telling us to order dessert. I felt bad for my friends that I brought along as we all felt uncomfortable with the pushy selling tactics. I liked the food enough but we won't be back. read more

I was really hungry and ordered way too much food. But it was all delicious! The honey chicken walnut looks very bland in appearance but order it! It is so delicious, you won't regret it. New vegan spot that opened up in Kirkland! I'm so glad there's more vegan options in this area, that are not just American food either. They did a vegan take on asian food - including curries, noodles, chicken dishes, and vegetables. We got Singaporean rice noodles, general Tao's chicken, and tofu curry clay pot. Rice is extra unfortunately and did not come with the curry. For dessert we ordered the mango tofu cheesecake. Everything was SO delicious and the mango cheesecake did NOT taste vegan at all, it was amazing. My favorite was the general Tao's chicken - the breading was the perfect consistency and the sauce brought everything together. You could choose between 5 spice levels and they had additional hot sauce if you wanted it. I recommend ordering family style since the dishes are large and pricey (most around $16-22). The menus are on a QR code and you can just order on that site, then they bring out the food (pretty quickly). You pay in person, it would be nice if they could have an option to pay on the website too. I loved that it was the right amount of service, they checked in on us to see if we needed anything but weren't overbearing. Ordering through the website really sped up the process and l hope more restaurants adopt that. Love this spot, I think I'll definitely be back! read more

Yes a bit smaller portion for the price. But it's pretty good if you are vegan and been craving greasy Chinese food. read more

Our server told us that there was a promo, so we got steamed dumplings too, for free! Things came super quickly, and our server was very sweet. My new favorite place for Chinese food when I'm in the area! I highly recommend to all hungry people, from vegans to carnivores. Also, they are super knowledgeable and accommodating to those of us with food allergies, which is such a huge plus. The restaurant is clean and cozy, with lively conversation and classical music in the background. What really stood out for me was that the people there are so kind and attentive, serving homemade comfort food made with love and intention. It felt like visiting family more than going to a restaurant. I'm far from my family at the moment and pretty sad about it, so it meant so much that they would take the time to make my solo dining experience special. I had a nice pot of jasmine tea that the server gave me the rest of in a go cup with a little extra hot water to make sure it was a nice temperature for my travels. They brought me a savory bowl of hot and sour soup that took the chill off the cold, rainy November night. They were making veg "crab" and cream cheese wontons, and made me a sample plate with dipping sauce that was wonderful. That's something I haven't had since becoming vegetarian so it was a treat. For my main dish, I ordered the General Tao veg "chicken" and a side of rice. The meat was juicy and of pleasant texture inside with a crispy, golden coating, paired with tender broccoli crowns and a delicious spicy chili sauce. The chili sauce they serve on the side is house made as well and is super tasty. I will return to eat on my lunch break and to have dinner with my family next time we're all in the area most definitely! read more

Could eat it all day. The pineapple fried rice is served in a pineapple, and is the perfect blend of salty and sweet. And the Mongolian beef tastes like the real thing. The broccoli is perfectly cooked in all dishes -- crunchy yet cooked enough to carry all of the unctuous sauces in its florets. The jasmine tea has an unparalleled fragrance.
