WHAT I GOT: - #1 Sri Lanka Ceylon Latte with Boba ($5.95) - 7/10 - #3 Da Hong Pao Chappuccino ($4.95) - 8/10 - #4 Mango Mango ($6.95) - 5/10 #1 and #3 have a nice tea taste and their boba was pretty good (they originally ran out and had to make it fresh). The mango mango's agar boba was kind of weird. There's a lot of topping and I was a bit thrown off by it. LOCATION: - Located in the promenade (outside section) of Santa Anita mall. Delicious boba shop in the outside part of the mall. This place is always packed and normally has a line to take your order. I will say the wait is worth it. Always looking for non caffeinated options outside of just plain milk and boba and this place really elevates the options. Avo, coco, mango (#2 on top 10 menu) say what? Not only are the drinks so pretty to look at there are instructions on how to consume it for optimum taste! The boba is the perfect chew and not overly sweet. Perfect to cool off or as a refresher at any time of the day. I love the wide array of unique drinks Cha Redefine offers- I've been here a few times now and was able to get their Matcha Latte, Blueberry Matcha Latte, and Taro Tornado, all of which were spectacular. I would highly recommend their matcha- If you're there for the first time, try the original matcha without the blueberry, it tends to mask the real match flavor. The inside is clean, chic, and aesthetic- not plain. It certainly has a character to it, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I would keep in mind though that their lines are most of the time, long. Out of the 9-10 times I've been there, they've consistently had a line, sometimes out the door. Their service time is average- in these long lines, ~7 minutes is normal. I would highly recommend stopping by Cha Redefine. It's also located in a convenient spot in the mall to access parking: Once you enter the mall, park at their indoor structure (entrances by Macy's and Nordstrom), and try to get parking near the Nordstrom side, where you will see an escalator. Cute ambiance inside and outside. This is a shop that sells boba milk tea with actual tea inside! One of the few that had mango flavor with milk in the mall. A long line but quick and efficient service. Waited 10-15 minutes to receive our order after about 5-8 ppl (and we ordered 4 drinks)! I got taro tornado which came with taro foam, real taro (with chunks), jasmine tea, and milk. I replaced my fresh milk with almond milk and it still tasted amazing. Tea wasn't too strong in my drink. Here are my top recommendations: Avocado swirl Strawberry and avocado - this is my most recent favorite Mango cheese - classic, also their top seller It is more convenient if you can order from App such as Panda so you don't have to wait to long to get the drink. The shop feels very warm and welcoming with the decor and color scheme. It is a bit on the smaller side so it could get crowded if there's a lot of customers. Got three drinks to try. All of them were okay. Blueberry Oatmilk Matcha Latte 2.5 out of 5. It sounded good, but the taste & flavor is not quite as expected/to my liking. Personally, I think the matcha and oat milk is fine. My biggest issue with this drink is the blueberry. It tasted rather artificial and ruined the drink. I was hoping for a few fresh blueberries or some sort of more natural type blueberry syrup. Da Hong Pao Chappuccino with Boba 2.5 out of 5. This milk tea tasted light and the flavor was okay. Boba was not okay. It was not soft and chewy. Peach Oolong Cha with Black Sesame Foam 3 out of 5. Bf thought the Black Sesame Foam overpowered the drink. It overshadowed the oolong tea and could barely taste the peach. I actually thought it was the best of the 3 drinks we got. We both agreed that his Peach Oolong & my Da Hong Pao at regular sweet of 75% was a tad bit too sweet. Should have gotten it at half sweet. Not sure how I feel about trying other drinks from them. The drinks weren't that good (so-so at best) and lines were long. Luckily, I've ordered online, but even then there was a bit of a wait for pick up for me & the guy in front of me since the 5 baristas/cashiers working there doesn't look our way. Hard to catch their attention. Strongly recommend ordering online, it beats standing in the constant long line. If you see even a few people in here, or if there's any kind of line you're going to be waiting for at least 30 min! I've been here multiple times and it doesn't matter how empty it is they take FOREVER to make your drink. It's super frustrating!!! Minus a star for that. That being said if you do decide to wait I'd recommend the osmanthus cha with avocado foam- it's absolutely delicious. It's subtly floral and doesn't need sugar. The avocado foam has a very subtle light avocado flavor, which actually nicely compliments the flavor of the tea. I went rogue this last time and got the rose Jade with vanilla foam, since I typically love rose flavor however I didn't care for this drink. The vanilla foam was fine but the rose wasn't good. We ordered the following, all regular sweetness (not too sweet): 1) Green tea latte with sesame cream cold: Very refreshing but the sesame flavor is a bit too strong for the green tea. 2) Sesame cream with espresso cold: I'm not a coffee drinker and I can't stop drinking this! Waited another 5 minutes before the another girl came from the back with a crap look on her face, earphones in, and put 3 drinks out. I asked if there was an order under my name, and before I finished talking she just gave me a side eye and walked off. A couple minutes later, she came back to the area and set 2 more cups down before walking off. I didn't even know one was my drink until I picked it up and read the name. Cha Redefine is a boba shop with super modern and zen decor in the Promenade section of the Santa Anita mall that has quite a bold and unique selection of drink offerings. We stumbled upon it when we noticed a long line of people waiting to order and it turns out they were running a BOGO promotion for their 5 year anniversary. We decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed. We got the blueberry oat milk matcha and the Cha Cha Peachy (which I believe is a limited time drink). The blueberry milk mixed and paired well with the matcha, which we could tell was high grade and of good quality based on the taste and the deep green color. Overall, it was a tasty, unique drink that we would recommend. The Cha Cha Peachy was also very refreshing and delicious; it is an ice blended drink with bits of real peach and agar boba, and was perfect for a hot summer day. We were impressed that our drinks were made very well despite the staff having to work quick to fulfill orders. One thing that did bother us though were all the flies in the shop, which were there probably because of all the mangos that the store uses for their mango drinks and also because it was blazing hot outside. read more

I was excited Cha Redefine was opening at the Santa Anita mall. The store itself is very welcoming and cute inside. I am only giving it 3 stars because of the portion. I ordered an orange green tea. When I received my drink, about more than a quarter of the top was empty! If I'm paying over $6 for a tea drink, I expect it to be filled to the top. The line was long, but definitely worth the wait for me. Tried the Matcha Tornado, Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte, and the Sri Lanka Milk Tea Soft Serve. The Matcha Tornado has fresh taro mixed into an icy fresh milk with matcha and the flavor came out great. The earthy tones from the matcha and taro were not overbearing and complemented the sweetness of the milk. The Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte and Sri Lanka Milk Tea Soft Serve were spot on with the flavors without being too sweet. Overall, the products were well balanced and are perfect for an after meal treat. Behind the counter, the staff was working hard to get the orders out as efficiently as possible. They were nice and helpful with questions I asked. I commend them for keeping up with the orders and drink consistency. i came in to order 2 drinks: matcha einspanner and the strawberry avocado smoothie. idk what was going on today but it was pretty busy because the line was out the door, but also VERY crowded inside because everyone was waiting for their drinks. as we got closer to the register to order i see the pick up counter was full of drinks yet no worker was there to call out orders so that got me a little worried? we decided to wait outside, but realized there was no way we would know what number they were calling so we joined the crowd and watched a lot of the workers just making drinks and placing them on the counter and not calling them out?? it looked so chaotic. we finally heard them calling numbers because a customer was complaining so they decided to finally do something about it and they called out 160 and most of our numbers were in the 200s... everyone was holding up their receipts showing their order numbers and we see different workers touching each cup to read the numbers instead of organizing them to be first order in and first order out system. i saw 5 matcha einspanners sitting there and one of them was mine. it was sitting there till my other drink was ready and by the time the avocado strawberry was ready my matcha was watered down and the rice crisps on top were soggy. they need to be more structured and have one designated person organizing the drinks and calling out order numbers so it can be a better flow. i never write bad reviews, but i was very disappointed with my experience and i hope they can fix their system :( read more

I've tried a few different drinks including their seasonal ones whenever they come out and I've enjoyed them all. Faves are the da hong pao chappuccino, blueberry matcha, orange green tea, and their new peach one that came out recently. Their dirty da hong pao is also really good which has a shot of espresso in it. Drink quality has been consistent and I usually don't need to adjust the sweetness cause their drinks aren't overly sweet. read more

Wow very happy to have this location in Arcadia, located inside the outdoor portion of the Santa Anita mall. Haven't tried too many beverages but the #1 ranked option was soo good, I'm sure everything else will be high quality. The Sri Lankan Ceylon Latte was amazing and I can't wait to get another. I wish I could get this as often as Starbucks as it really blows any latte I've ever had out the water. I have tried Unique tea, L2, AU79, Tancha, Sunright, 3Catea, and etc. The sri lanka drink is almost as comparable to one of the well known drinks in China.
