It's a fine pit stop for boba especially in this mall. There isn't a ton of seating though. Note they have an espresso royale special right now with the mangosteen juice. Even though I got it unsweetened without any added sugar, the staff was right to call out it is sweet on its own with the juice, as it was too sweet for my liking. Typically I do like their drinks though, just this new special is a pass for me given I don't have a sweet tooth and don't like overly sweet drinks.
Though this is a boba shop, they make decent matcha lattes. Each drink was about $9 which is steep given how small it was. Ordered 2 double matchas and 1 matcha einspanner; can't go wrong with either of your choosing. Located outside of the mall in its promenade and the store stays quite busy.
I came to this location because I thought they had soft serve matcha, but I was told they took it off the menu. I was bummed, the staff was friendly, and I ordered a drink. One of the staff members even remade a drink for me because I forgot to adjust the sweetness level, so that made the experience much better.
I'm pretty bummed the Cha Redefine in Pasadena closed, but luckily this one is still here! I usually grab a drink when I'm at the mall and think this is way better than 3CAT. The matcha, regular teas, and hojicha are all great quality and fragrant which I love. The boba is usually fresh and chewy also. They usually have a seasonal menu that changes quite frequently and it's been fun trying new drinks. The matcha coconut chill (just coconut water and a matcha cream top) was something I've seen elsewhere and been wanting to try. Once mixed together, it was creamy but also incredibly refreshing, quite delicious. There's a little free photo machine by the door you can grab a quick group photo with! Scan the QR code to retrieve. Sometimes it's outta paper but it prints on receipt paper anyway.
I have seen Cha Redefine pop up on SGV, so I finally decided to try on very hot day. This location is part of the Santa Anita mall in the outdoor area where there a few other boba locations. There was no line when I went so I ordered with the employee. There is also a kiosk. I really like the ambiance of the store. It was cool items to look at and tons of seating (including tables and a bar). Just overall super cute inside. I did wait a long time for my drink. I thought it would come out pretty quickly because there were no other orders and several staff members. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you're in a rush to grab a drink. I ordered a matcha latte, which seemed to one of their more popular items. Once my drink came out, I was a little surprised by how small it was (considering the price). I have been on a matcha and boba kick lately and this was one was one of the smallest one that I have gotten. The other thing is that the drink itself was pretty average. It had a slightly bland taste, which was disappointing. Not sure I will be back here since there are tons of matcha places to try in the mall.
Love the non caffeine options so I can share with my son. It's made to order and lots of staff are prepping. Love the cleanliness and environment- great music and the aroma of the variety of drinks. Grateful for a quality tea shop at the mall!
I liked their popcorn latte. They had little crispy stuff on top that added extra flavor to the drink. Mix well. The coffee taste isnt that strong so if youre expecting alot of coffee this is not the one for you. Lychee rice didnt have any lychee taste at all. It tasted like cheesy milk only. Maybe the cheese overpowered it? They have a photo machine that used to print pit the pictures but i guess it ran out but you can download the picture from the qr code at the end.
Cha redefine will always be a go-to. My favorite drink is the Mochi Mango, and would def reccomend to anyone. This location specifically tends to get crowded often, hence it is in mall. However, even during rushes, the staff is fast and efficient. It sometimes gets tight, especially when the line goes out the door, but this spot is nice to sit in and chill when there are less people. Bonus: They have a free photobooth, but it was out of paper when I went. I was still able to download a digital version.
I stop by to just get my favorite Popping Milk Tea . I wish the size would be bigger for the coco one they were featured on their sign , but all I got was just a reg size drink for $7.50 it tasted so good that I was willing to pay for it (just once in a while ). There's always a line, luckily there were chair for me to sit and take pic while waiting for my drink. Surprisingly was pretty quick. Believe is barley and rice crispy popping in my mouth Ambience: the insIde was pretty squishy, better Togo it or carry it outside , since it was outside the Mall, can still window shop while popping my favorite Did you try it yet?
I come here all the time for the blueberry oat milk matcha latte its the best!!! I've influenced others to try it and they love it too! Perfect for my lactose intolerance buddies. Service is great too. I love all the locations!! Yes I travel to the other locations too to get the same item
I had tried Cha Redefine over in Rowland, so I was very interested in trying this one in Arcadia. Luckily, my wife and I visited while shopping at Santa Anita Mall so this was the perfect spot to visit. Interior is quite glamorous, it has that cozy vibe but also a nice modern spectacle to it. There's a limited amount of tables but there's a sizeable crescent counter to place your drinks. Drinks here are good quality, if not, even high quality. They're known for their fresh ingredients and high quality teas and our drinks reflected that. They have a top 10 most popular drinks which is helpful for first time visitors. The matcha tornado was the star of the show for me. It was very delicious and easy to sip. I can see why it's one of the most popular drinks. Although it's more of a smoothie type drink, it still have that milk tea type feel which is a perfect combo. Super delicious and definitely a high value drink. Overall, very happy about this location, probably my top choice whenever my wife and I are shopping around the area.
Been wanting to try this spot for awhile and finally had to get a drink. Flavors were on point and I loved the tea jellies. The cup was pretty large and 25% sweetness was perfect for me. Flavor wise, I think this is definitely a new favorite for me. The drink I got was super refreshing especially during the summer days. read more
First time at this tea shop and my order was so delicious! The interior is clean and welcoming and the staff was friendly. I ordered my drink and it was ready within minutes. This shop is within the mall so I can see that parking can sometimes be a challenge. I came on a weekday at noon and snagged a spot pretty quickly. There was also no wait at the tea shop. I ordered a osmanthus oolong with vanilla cream foam, they were out of the taro :( The foam does make the drink sweeter so at 50% sugar the tea was perfect with the sweet foam. I was craving Matcha and out of all of the numerous options at the mall, this place stood out to me. You can choose from cappuccino, milk tea, tea, ceremonial grade Matcha, and other drinks. The menu offers interesting combinations, like the blueberry oat milk Matcha latte, but I highly recommend just going for the basic ceremonial grade Matcha latte. This will hit the spot even though the specific menu item is not in their top 10 most popular drink list. The service was relatively fast, considering how it was during a Saturday afternoon. I do like that there is a random photo machine that print out free pictures on a thermal paper, which is pretty cool to help people kill time while waiting in line. The ambience of this shop invites people to sit down and chat so expect a moderate volume while you're in here. The layout of the shop is really cute considering how you can choose from sitting at the tea bar, regular tables, or around the tree on the inside. The taste of the ceremonial grade Matcha what's good and did not taste powdery at all, nor did it taste fake. The staff was also helpful and explaining their menu as well. read more

Tried cha redefine back in Pasadena and never went back to that location because drinks lacked in flavors. Decided to order for delivery today from Arcadia location and all the drinks we got met our standards. Drinks are not too sweet and you can taste the tea and fruit in the each cup. read more

Wanted to check out this somewhat newer shop in the Santa Anita Mall and ordered the mochi mango drink with 50% sugar. What's interesting is that the mochi is stuck to the bottom so it was somewhat difficult to enjoy this beverage. The mango flavor was good, and the mochi texture was nice and chewy, but it was very difficult to use a straw for this one. That being said, I'll give this place another try when I'm in the area but the mochi drink was probably a one and done for me. Staff was friendly and the interior is clean. Cha Redefine remains a top-tier tea and boba shop in the Westfield Santa Anita Mall! I ordered the Matcha Latte and the Matta Latte with the addition of Coffee Foam and Mochi! The matcha doesn't have a distinctively strong flavor, but it is super creamy and consistent, which makes up for the lack of taste! What I really like about Cha Redefine is the mochi. The workers clearly take their time to perfect their craft! When it comes to service, it is always consistent and very friendly, usually getting through a multitude of orders in quick succession. The coffee foam was super delicious and had a strong residual taste, which complimented well with the matcha! The aesthetic of their cups is also super cute and great for photos. I heavily applaud Cha Redefine. Come here; it won't let you down! read more

Service was quick and there was a quite a lot of seating. There was loud music so it's a bit hard to talk but it's not bad. I got mango mango as my drink and i really love how fresh the mango taste and my friend got the milk tea and she said she loves it. It's better than torotea, she said! read more

Cha Redefine in Arcadia is so good!! My go to is always the refreshing peach oolong cha. Most times I get with the vanilla foam and it's always so yummy. There matcha is also a 10/10! The workers are always very friendly here as well!They also have a cute little photo booth station right when you walk in!! Will definitely come back again! read more

The boba and drinks here are soooo good! I was in the area so I had to stop by to get the black chappucino! Chappucino drinks are are drinks that include the delicious foam on top. I forgot to take a picture of my drink because I was so excited to drink it :( I always get the black chappucino with light ice, oat milk, light boba, and 1/4 sweet. The standard recipes can be a bit too sweet for me - I like the quality of the teas that they use. The boba has the perfect sweetness and chewy texture. Aside from beverages, they have some delicious looking pastries (which I have not tried). Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I have not had a bad experience! The shop is located outside and is perfect to get while you are shopping around the mall! read more

One of the new boba shops that just opened at Arcadia mall. I swear there is too many boba shops at this mall, but also not complaining bc there are more options haha. I tried a charedfine in Rowland Heights and I didn't really like it as much. Honestly I thought it just wasn't really that special? Although we were looking for boba to drink at the mall, my friend never tried ChaRedfine before so we went here for her to try. I do like the space here a lot, the interior looks very nice with the decor! They have limited seating here but you could also find seating anywhere at the mall. I ended up trying the Da Hong Pao Chappuccino with boba and my friend got the Osmanthus Cream Foam Cha. Honestly I liked my drink a lot more than the last time I tried it! The boba was nicely chewy and not too sweet. The tea itself was pretty nice as well, but also not entirely amazing. It was good to try again! read more
Cha Redefine has multiple locations across Southern California. This location is at The Shops at Santa Anita in the outdoor south west section of the mall. I got the mango mango ($6.95) which was good and full of mango items including mango bits. Interestingly though, the agar boba was grapefruit-flavored and given its name I would've expected it to be mango instead. It's not a big shop and there were only a couple tables and seats. It's a place where you usually wait for your drink and then take it to go walk around the mall. read more

FINALLY they opened. I was so excited seeing that we were getting a Cha Redefine in the 626 as I got to visit the LA one ages ago and was lamenting that it was so far/in a fisted place with semi-stressful parking. Time started ticking by and the Rowland Heights location hilariously somehow opened before the Arcadia one, but glad there's a high quality top tier boba option at the mall now. It DOES get super busy from what I've seen with the lines going all the way out to the door on the night that I visited, but during other times the line is manageable and either way the workers are quite efficient and get your drinks and soft serve out ASAP. There's seating inside and they opted for a not too fancy, natural look to it. I got to say the fake trees do look nice and provide a backdrop for pictures but they do take up a lot of space... We've gotten a myriad of drinks here ranging from their: Coco Avocado, Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte, Mango Mango, Da Hong Pao Chappuccino, and most recently their Coco Cream Foam Cha. I usually hate things with coconut water, but this was a nicely sweet tasty tea with a coconut flavor. I love their drinks with the sweetened pecans on top and you can always adjust the sweetness of their drinks to your preference. We've also had their soft serve multiple times here, both the matcha and their Sri Lankan Ceylon Milk Tea flavor (this one DOES run out). Matcha is pretty good, but the MT flavor is my favorite. They also have the ice cream in a croissant, but it is what it is...ice cream in a croissant. I would just get it in a cup lol. Definitely the better option for boba at the mall! read more

This location is in the mall. It is well decorated on the interior and exterior so it looks like they're planning to stay for awhile. You can smell the fragrant teas as you enter the store which is nice and hopefully means they use good quality teas. There was a line but it went by relatively quickly then waited a few minutes for our drinks. I got the osmanthus oolong vanilla cream foam cha and my friend got the blueberry oat milk matcha latte. Both drinks were good with a strong tea flavor but nothing really stood out from them. It is definitely pricey since it was more than $6 for the smaller size of the drink. There are already so many other options for boba in the SGV and even the mall alone. If I am in that area of the mall, I might come back to try a matcha drink, but still really hesitant because of the price. read more

Rose Oolong Cappuccino One was regular size, no ice, 0% sugar Another was large size, with barley popping boba, no ice, 75% sugar We were extremely disappointed. There were absolutely no rose or oolong flavors at all. The regular one tasted nothing like what I ordered, and the large one, according to my friend, tasted only sweet with no tea or rose flavors whatsoever. Seasonal items: Matcha latte and avocado strawberry Cha Redefine has some of the best boba drinks in town. Always the perfect sweetness for me which is the 75% sweetness. I love their teas. I decided to try their seasonal items and it did not disappoint. Matcha flavor is strong and pairs nicely with their sweet cream. My friend enjoy the avocado strawberry, but wishing that it was a bigger cup size. Overall, good seasonal drinks to try! I recommend their teas, very clean tea flavors. read more

I liked the natural elements of the store's interior. there was plenty of seating & service was quick. i've had charedefine before in oc & remember this drink being really good, but for some reason, the drink did not taste the same here. for me, i felt that the tea flavor itself was lacking and it was definitely more milk tasting, i also topped it off with brown sugar boba but that also felt a bit tasteless as well. not sure, if it was because i ordered 0% sugar but i dont believe sweetness was an issue. overall, mediocre drink, i was a bit disappointed with the flavor. I will consider trying a different drink next time! read more
We came here to get some drinks AFTER we had a spicy lunch across the way at Tai Er. BUT we should have done the opposite! We should have came here first because if you buy 2 drinks here you could get a $10 voucher to Tai Er Sichuan! The voucher is good until end of 2024. So maybe we'll have to pay Tai Er another visit next time. Anyways, this is for Cha Redefine. So we got the mango mango and the blueberry oat milk. Both drinks were delicous!!! I love the colors! Look at the pics! Mango mango has a lot of toppings inside and real mangos! It's so good and filling! The matcha blueberry oat milk is equally refreshing! The wait was not too long and they even make the drinks rather quick. It was a busy day when we went but we had a great experience and enjoyed some delicious drinks! read more
