Visited Centro for the first time today, and I had such a great experience! From the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere and decor. It was a vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful while answering all of my questions. A special shoutout to Suri for recommending the soft serve margarita, which was easily a 10/10 and something I would absolutely order again! I also got a bowl, which was refreshing and flavorful. Between the amazing food, excellent service, and great atmosphere, this place exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking it out!
Went for their girl brunch deal! The restaurant itself was decorated colorfully and festive. Sadly couldn't have their alcoholic soft serve bc I was sick. I wish they had more NA drink options as part of the deal. It was diet coke or water. I got the chilaquiles and it was super flavorful. The seasoned tortillas did get a little soggy for me but they had a mix of fresh tortillas mixed in which gave it a nice crunch. The hash browns was crispy and delish. The pumpkin spice tres leches was SO good. Not too sweet. Overall for $24 pretty good deal!
Stopped by Centro for a friends birthday last night and was reminded how fun this place is! They always seem to play the best music & have amazing staff! I really love a self-order restuarant, our food came out within 10 minutes and drinks were quick as well. They have great seating options inside or out - perfect for a solo date too! The elote corn really threw me through a loop because it was SO wet. Almost everyone ordered it, and left us a bit dissapointed with how wet it was. Wouldnt order again. The fish taco was really good! I do wish they still had the nopales tacos :( Cherry marg was amazing, and im usually not a big fan of margaritas! Perfectly tart without being too sweet. Nachos were HUGE and layered really well - definitely needed for the entire table! When one of our drinks were forgotten, they gave us an extra to make up for it... which we really appreciated after the wait! Love u centro & especially your parking in the back!
Centro on Quincy St definitely passed the afternoon vibe check. The soft serve margaritas were AHMAZING -- smooth, refreshing, and perfect for a daytime outing. The tacos weren't bad either, flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was beyond awesome, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Good drinks, good food, good energy all around.
Came to Centro to try the Soft serve margarita I'd seen all over social media and boy was it delicious! We got there around 6pm on a Tuesday and were able to get a table fairly easily--it's seat yourself situation with a digital menu. For drinks we got the Strawberry Mango Twist Margaritas and also tried Cool Ranch wings and Birria crunch wrap--all of which we could come back for! If you're looking for a fast casual Mexican restaurant and bar, Centro is the spot!
This was first time at this location but my second time getting Centro. We went on a Saturday night and got a table right away but it wasn't cleaned off yet. You seat yourself so most people were snagging whatever spot they could get. You order at a QR code so there isn't actually a server. They had water you grab yourself but it was on the other side of the bar and not in an obvious location. So just be aware that it is there but you might need to look for it. The food came quick. My friend got the cool ranch wrap and chips and queso. I got the cool ranch wings. Their chips and queso is very good although I could do without the onions and jalapeño on top. The wings were alright. I wasn't really getting that cool ranch flavor and it tasted more just like your standard dry rub. I wasn't a fan of the ranch itself. My friend didn't care for her wrap as it was cold and she felt that the chicken was actually raw/undercooked. She also didn't get any cool ranch flavor come through: Not sure if I'd recommend this place or need to come back but I have had their quesadillas which were good and I did like their queso.
Such a fun spot for drinks!!! The ambience is beautiful. We sat on the patio and had the best time. Try the current soft serve margarita flavor they are offering! We got to try the strawberry one! So delicious.
Craving some great tacos and want a great variety of options...? This is definitely the place to come to please everyone's craving! They have a great patio. Like a lot of efficiency restaurants, they have a QR code to order off of which gives them the ability to provide fast and quality service. Great happy hour place to go as well! Great neighborhood location!
Centro is a great, more casual spot! Street parking is usually no problem, even if you have to walk a block. It's conveniently located next to other restaurants, bars, and breweries. Service is quick, and the food is exactly what you want.
Centro absolutely nailed it. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. The pink cowgirl Christmas theme was perfect for a girls night. Festive without being over the top, and refreshingly different from the usual holiday decor you see everywhere else. Ordering is done right at your table through their web ordering platform, which was super easy to use and honestly a game-changer when you want multiple rounds of drinks or food without waiting. We tried the enchiladas, quesadillas, burrito, and a rice bowl, and every single dish was generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. If you're going specifically for the holiday decorations, I'd recommend getting there early. The Christmas setup is in a smaller room off the main restaurant with limited seating. We went on a Monday night at 5 and had no problem fitting our group of four, but by the time we left, every table was full (but there was some open seating at the bar). Off-peak timing is key if you want the full Christmas experience. If you're looking for a fun and festive restaurant this season, Centro is definitely worth adding to your list.
Went to Centro in Northeast to try the new soft serve maragritas! They were phenomenal. I had heard of other places claiming they had soft serve margaritas in other states and the consistency just wasn't right, but this consistency was perfect. We sat at the bar and had great service. The vibe of the restaurant was fantastic, and the food was great. We ordered the Dirty Yuca fries (not pictured, forgot to let the camera eat first)c but they were fantastic!
Happy Hour Hotspot!! The $9 margaritas and chips & queso are so good! We were surprised how strong the drinks were! The outside patio is great for people watching and enjoying the few last nice days of summer! Service was fine, but not exceptional like it usually is. The servers and food runners barely talked, but service was very fast! We will be back!
Stopped by Centro with a friend while in the area and it didn't disappoint. I would absolutely recommend the Centro crunch and the frozen espresso martini. While it didn't necessarily taste like an espresso martini and more so chocolate ice cream it was fantastic! We sat at the bar, the staff were friendly and attentive. Such a fun place to get drinks or dinner with friends they have a nice outdoor area and tons of seating inside. They only have to-go parking in the lot behind the restaurant but there is plenty of street parking nearby. Can't wait to come back!

Came for the new girl brunch! You get a drink or softserve plus an entree, hashbrown and cake for $20. I noticed a lot of people here were also here for girl brunch. First just wanted to note that our server I mean he did he job but was very unenthusiastic. Can't fault anyone for saving a bad day, but he got my order wrong no big deal went to get another but it was still slightly wrong all with a very stoic expression as if this was an inconvenience to him. Food wise, I got the mimosa softserve, it was alright....very champagne-y, kinda a lot for the morning. I got the avocado toast and nothing was too special about it, but solid choice still. Great hashbrown, crispy like McD's. What surprised me was the pumpkin spice tres leches, THAT was delicious. Would I come back for girl brunch? Probably not but I am a sucker for marketing so probably something else yeah. read more

Visited 12/29/25. Okay first off the country Christmas theme that centro came up with this year is ICONIC and was loved by my friends and I when we visited. Only in part of the restaurant but we were lucky to snag seats in that area due to it being a Monday night and bad weather. Definitely the high point and was super fun to see. As always with this area, parking can be a bit of a mess and in this case it worked better to ignore the area directly on this street and instead to park a block over in residential parking. To start I ordered the chips and dip trio for the table and a beer. They have the QR system which I think works well for centro as a whole. The trio was kind of lack luster and while the queso was solid, the guac didn't taste very fresh and the chips were pretty greasy. I also got the birria crunch wrap and while I I typically don't like to complain about having a lot of meat, it felt like I was just eating meat in a tortilla with no other textures or flavors. Would likely try something different in the future because I was missing freshness or other textures. They definitely were getting closer to closing time which is completely fair, but they kept trying to clear plates and drinks before we were done with them (my friend didn't get to finish her margarita because it was cleared before she could say anything). Centro has such a cool model and vibe so I wish it so much continued success, but across a few visits two different locations I have yet to find things on the menu that I really love. read more

Everything we ordered from here was delicious. The soft serve margarita is so fun and yummy, I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time. I loved the ambiance and the service. Overall 10/10 experience. read more
Service - friendly but limited interaction because you scan and order from your phone. Ambiance - relaxed bar feel. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice decor inside. Food - Tacos were the winner (especially the fish) but I am giving an overall 4 star because the crunch wrap meat was not warm which was surprising because they brought out the food as it was ready and this was the one we waited the longest for. The tacos and chips made up for it because they were very tasty. read more
I was going n a quest to see the Pink Pony Xmas decor, and unfortunately failed! Everyone else had the same great idea at 4pm on a Saturday. Without reservations available, you may need to consider going at off hours or plan to be exceptionally patient with your group! We stuck around for the usual great food and drinks; however, the restaurant was unusually cold. We kept our jackets on the entire night. Below zero weather is tough for a lot of restaurants, but I hope Centro can find a way to better mitigate heat loss. That was kind of disappointing. read more
Came for the Christmas pop up with some of my friends and we had a great time! The drinks are a bit expensive but definitely a fun atmosphere and decorations. We sat at the bar at first and then moved to a table, it was busier at first but quieted down later! I can't speak on the food but it all looked pretty good as well! Parking is tricky with the snow but there is also a pay lot across the street. read more

Stopped at Centro for dinner before a holiday party and it was exactly what we were craving! They had their Pink Country Christmas event going on and I got to try their 9-5 mocktail. Delicious! It felt like an espresso martini mocktail but better. Even on a Friday night we got a table right away. The one thing I would improve is the parking along the road out front, the cobblestone road prevents proper plowing in the winter, so plan on paying in the lot across the street! read more
I've stopped in here a few times with friends. It's pretty large and you will either need to street park or find a lot that you typically pay for. They have outside seating as well For those nice summer days. Everything is order from your table which makes it pretty convenient. They have selections of food, cocktails and other beverages. I had a crunch wrap which was good not great. Next time I'll get the Birria one. I've had their tacos and those are tasty. And a friend got the French toast, eggs and bacon which was pretty awesome! Both the margarita and Bloody Mary were solid. And the bloody had kick. I have no problem going back. It can get a little pricey as well. Overall worth the visit. read more

Went with friends to try out the soft serve margaritas and they were delicious! Nice drink, not too strong. Chips and queso were good as well. Staff were friendly. Ordering is done through a QR code and staff bring it out to you. This is fine but it's a bit tedious to have to pay each time you order, would be nice to have a tab that you just pay at the end. read more

It is a very lively colorful chill vibe. I loved it! The staff were so welcoming and casual. You go in, seat yourself, and order by the QR code at your table. The food was nice large portion per person and very flavorful. The show stopper are their Margarita soft serve drinks. Delicious! read more
Centro/Vivir (both connected) are BOMB! I love the scanning QR code/service concept which enables a relaxed, chill environment while still getting fantastic food, drinks and service! This location has an artful, eclectic ambience, which we loved. It's a super cool spot and we will definitely be back! It's a great spot to hangout order as you go and not feel rushed out. They even have board games if you wanted to play! Parking can be a little hard but doable! You might have to park a little farther and walk. Highly recommend Centro/Vivir! read more

Meh. Sad lil tacos. Other food is ok. The burgers are good but these tacos are chincy. And remember you have to do the QR code thing .but there are actual real menus at the front read more

Their green salsa is so so good! The guac is just ok so I'll pass on that next time. The tacos are good, my favorite were the braised beef and carne asada, I would pass on the pescado next time (very fishy). My parents enjoyed the chicken tinga tacos as well. I'll definitely be back for chips and salsa and a margarita! The service is just ok, you do all the work of getting water and ordering on your own and they just come deliver the food. I love the atmosphere over on the coffee shop side and it's great that you can order everything in one spot! read more
This place is all about the hip vibe and prime location. It's nestled into an area with other good food and the brewery right across the street. I love Mexican food and I would call the grub here good - but not necessarily great. My chicken enchiladas were tasty but didn't pack any epic flavor or heat. I had to order via QR code and had limited options to customize or request a little more POW. I'll admit - I prefer talking to a server who can put in a good word for me in the kitchen. Still - I'd count this as a really iconic spot and a great date night choice. Maybe next time I dabble with the taco options or the Crunchwrap and this gets bumped to 5* read more

This is a nice little restaurant with some good drinks. Stopped on for happy hour and had two of the beers, which were great for $5. My friend had the margarits and said they wete very tasty and strong. The service was friendly and prompt. i love that you can scan the menu on the table and then place your individual order and pay for it beforehand so you don't need to worry about splitting the check or doing any math. I wish they had a few more food options in the happy hour menu but otherwise really enjoyed it! read more
I got the takeout of the birria crunchy wrap. It was not the best I have ever had, but not bad as well. I thought it would have more meat to the wrap or a lot bigger, but it was small. It had more tortilla wrap then any stuffing in it. The consome was plain and it didn't have anything in it. It didn't add any flavors to the crunch wrap. Still, I want to try this place again. Maybe would be better to go than get takeout. read more

Is this place kid friendly?
Yes, but I probably wouldn't bring a child under 8ish here.
