Visited 12/29/25. Okay first off the country Christmas theme that centro came up with this year is ICONIC and was loved by my friends and I when we visited. Only in part of the restaurant but we were lucky to snag seats in that area due to it being a Monday night and bad weather. Definitely the high point and was super fun to see. As always with this area, parking can be a bit of a mess and in this case it worked better to ignore the area directly on this street and instead to park a block over in residential parking. To start I ordered the chips and dip trio for the table and a beer. They have the QR system which I think works well for centro as a whole. The trio was kind of lack luster and while the queso was solid, the guac didn't taste very fresh and the chips were pretty greasy. I also got the birria crunch wrap and while I I typically don't like to complain about having a lot of meat, it felt like I was just eating meat in a tortilla with no other textures or flavors. Would likely try something different in the future because I was missing freshness or other textures. They definitely were getting closer to closing time which is completely fair, but they kept trying to clear plates and drinks before we were done with them (my friend didn't get to finish her margarita because it was cleared before she could say anything). Centro has such a cool model and vibe so I wish it so much continued success, but across a few visits two different locations I have yet to find things on the menu that I really love.

Happy Hour Hotspot!! The $9 margaritas and chips & queso are so good! We were surprised how strong the drinks were! The outside patio is great for people watching and enjoying the few last nice days of summer! Service was fine, but not exceptional like it usually is. The servers and food runners barely talked, but service was very fast! We will be back!

I was going n a quest to see the Pink Pony Xmas decor, and unfortunately failed! Everyone else had the same great idea at 4pm on a Saturday. Without reservations available, you may need to consider going at off hours or plan to be exceptionally patient with your group! We stuck around for the usual great food and drinks; however, the restaurant was unusually cold. We kept our jackets on the entire night. Below zero weather is tough for a lot of restaurants, but I hope Centro can find a way to better mitigate heat loss. That was kind of disappointing.

Came for the Christmas pop up with some of my friends and we had a great time! The drinks are a bit expensive but definitely a fun atmosphere and decorations. We sat at the bar at first and then moved to a table, it was busier at first but quieted down later! I can't speak on the food but it all looked pretty good as well! Parking is tricky with the snow but there is also a pay lot across the street.

The centro crunch wrap and taco were delicious! Great flavors in the carne asada and chorizo, crunch wrap was delicious, and both had large portions. Service was quick, and the ambiance was very cute in the restaurant!

Stopped at Centro for dinner before a holiday party and it was exactly what we were craving! They had their Pink Country Christmas event going on and I got to try their 9-5 mocktail. Delicious! It felt like an espresso martini mocktail but better. Even on a Friday night we got a table right away. The one thing I would improve is the parking along the road out front, the cobblestone road prevents proper plowing in the winter, so plan on paying in the lot across the street!

Service - friendly but limited interaction because you scan and order from your phone. Ambiance - relaxed bar feel. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice decor inside. Food - Tacos were the winner (especially the fish) but I am giving an overall 4 star because the crunch wrap meat was not warm which was surprising because they brought out the food as it was ready and this was the one we waited the longest for. The tacos and chips made up for it because they were very tasty.

Centro absolutely nailed it. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. The pink cowgirl Christmas theme was perfect for a girls night. Festive without being over the top, and refreshingly different from the usual holiday decor you see everywhere else. Ordering is done right at your table through their web ordering platform, which was super easy to use and honestly a game-changer when you want multiple rounds of drinks or food without waiting. We tried the enchiladas, quesadillas, burrito, and a rice bowl, and every single dish was generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. If you're going specifically for the holiday decorations, I'd recommend getting there early. The Christmas setup is in a smaller room off the main restaurant with limited seating. We went on a Monday night at 5 and had no problem fitting our group of four, but by the time we left, every table was full (but there was some open seating at the bar). Off-peak timing is key if you want the full Christmas experience. If you're looking for a fun and festive restaurant this season, Centro is definitely worth adding to your list.

I've stopped in here a few times with friends. It's pretty large and you will either need to street park or find a lot that you typically pay for. They have outside seating as well For those nice summer days. Everything is order from your table which makes it pretty convenient. They have selections of food, cocktails and other beverages. I had a crunch wrap which was good not great. Next time I'll get the Birria one. I've had their tacos and those are tasty. And a friend got the French toast, eggs and bacon which was pretty awesome! Both the margarita and Bloody Mary were solid. And the bloody had kick. I have no problem going back. It can get a little pricey as well. Overall worth the visit.

Centro/Vivir (both connected) are BOMB! I love the scanning QR code/service concept which enables a relaxed, chill environment while still getting fantastic food, drinks and service! This location has an artful, eclectic ambience, which we loved. It's a super cool spot and we will definitely be back! It's a great spot to hangout order as you go and not feel rushed out. They even have board games if you wanted to play! Parking can be a little hard but doable! You might have to park a little farther and walk. Highly recommend Centro/Vivir!

Their green salsa is so so good! The guac is just ok so I'll pass on that next time. The tacos are good, my favorite were the braised beef and carne asada, I would pass on the pescado next time (very fishy). My parents enjoyed the chicken tinga tacos as well. I'll definitely be back for chips and salsa and a margarita! The service is just ok, you do all the work of getting water and ordering on your own and they just come deliver the food. I love the atmosphere over on the coffee shop side and it's great that you can order everything in one spot!

This is a nice little restaurant with some good drinks. Stopped on for happy hour and had two of the beers, which were great for $5. My friend had the margarits and said they wete very tasty and strong. The service was friendly and prompt. i love that you can scan the menu on the table and then place your individual order and pay for it beforehand so you don't need to worry about splitting the check or doing any math. I wish they had a few more food options in the happy hour menu but otherwise really enjoyed it!

I got the takeout of the birria crunchy wrap. It was not the best I have ever had, but not bad as well. I thought it would have more meat to the wrap or a lot bigger, but it was small. It had more tortilla wrap then any stuffing in it. The consome was plain and it didn't have anything in it. It didn't add any flavors to the crunch wrap. Still, I want to try this place again. Maybe would be better to go than get takeout.

Is this place kid friendly?

Yes, but I probably wouldn't bring a child under 8ish here.

Parking can be annoying in this area (old cobblestone streets), but there is a paid lot right across the street from the entrance if you can't find street parking. Upon walking in, the bar top itself was packed with regulars at an off hour on a Friday. We sat at a small table by the pull tabs. Fun & divey atmosphere with a pool table and plenty of photo ops. Decided on Bina's Burger (smash burger) with Fries, and a side of Mozzarella Sticks. Loved the classic cup the Coke came in, and I tried both of the Old Fashioned drinks on the menu. Bina's old fashioned is okay, and will do the trick if you're purely looking for effect. The Wisconsin old fashioned is very sweet with muddled cherries and orange. The mozzarella sticks were served with a tomato soup dip which was interesting, but makes sense (grilled cheese & tomato soup). Ultimately the smash burger is the star! Very salty and crispy and delicious! I could see this becoming a regular craving! Water and condiments are on a stand to the left of the pull tabs.

My friend and I split the cheeseburger, grilled cheese, and mozzarella sticks. My favorite was the grilled cheese and dill pickle chips. I cannot wait to over order that in 2026. Their mozzarella sticks are served with tomato soup/dip, but I used that for my grilled cheese and it paired well. I did have this delivered via Door Dash, so I understand the quality isn't the same as if you ate at the restaurant - especially on a MN winter night. It was barely warm, but honestly, that didn't ruin the experience. I cannot wait to try their food again in their restaurant.

They described it as an upscale dive bar which I laughed at for sure, but when I went I would say that exactly how I would describe it. It's dark and moody, but very funky and hip with the neon walls and lights. It's very small, behind the new Public Domain space. Seems like the hostesses direct people waiting on a spot there to Neon Tiger while they wait. We were able to snag one of the last tables after we ordered (there are about 5 tables for 2, and 3 standing bar tables from what I remember). The menu isn't large - it has a couple of beers, some basic cocktails and lists spirits and mixers. The only new and exciting thing on the menu is their slushy cocktails. Good news is that this place isn't very pricey, but the portions aren't huge. My small espresso martini was $12, my boyfriend's beer didn't quite look like a full pint but was only $4. We did laugh that it was called Tiger piss. The espresso martini is good, but beware there's no actual cream liquor in the drink - they seem to squirt some foamy concoction from an unmarked squeeze bottle in a fridge on top, which was interesting. Overall, would come back here if I was bar hopping for cocktails - but wouldn't go out of my way to try it again. Great idea to send people here while waiting for Public Domain!

The atmosphere of the place gives a nice relaxed and colorful vibe, and the drinks and food menu had a stunning variety. The music was performed by Javier Hernandez and his band and was beautiful. The music here will change day to day, but on this Friday evening ours was beautiful. It included piano, trumpet, bongos, drums and bass. Staff were all attentive without being overbearing and allowed us to enjoy the music, and the food ended up being fantastic. We got deviled eggs (some of the best I've ever had) and Okonomiyaki which in this case was a variation of fried sweet potato and was delicious. Drink variety ranges from fruity cocktails to wine to N.A. beer and they had something for everyone. We absolutely adored the original bar staff (Dylan and Darin) and came to know them personally. They were always so kind, caring, and welcoming. As someone who works in the service industry as well, I've never meet someone who can make you feel so unwelcome and so unwanted at the same time. Unfortunately, we had a situation with them (about 3-4 months ago) that we thought had been resolved. We have been nothing but kind since then, and continue to support this business. However, we can no longer continue to support until this situation is resolved. Said bartender as well as another member of the team, feel the need to harass us over the situation. If there is a problem, I wowould immediately take it up with the manager. There is NO REASON that a bartender should approach us with this sort of attitude. I've already talked with a manager, but wanted to express how upset we are with the service from this group of staff!
