It's really cute inside and the burger I had was great. The fries were super crispy and I would definitely recommend getting them as your side. One thing I wasn't a fan of was the QR code ordering system. It's laid out like a restaurant and the prices were typical restaurant prices, but the only time we saw a server was when they brought out our food. You also get your own water from a water station. It's not a huge deal, but for a place decorated so nicely it made it feel more like a fast food experience. It also asks for a tip with the traditional percentage amounts suggested which I thought was strange because I'm not sure who I would be tipping, I thought that usually went to your server? Besides that though I did really enjoy the burger. They have a pool table and many pieces of fun wall art to look at. They also have a nice patio for the summer. read more

I've been wanting to swing by this spot for a while now and decided to venture out in the snow to make it happen. Parking can be annoying in this area (old cobblestone streets), but there is a paid lot right across the street from the entrance if you can't find street parking. Upon walking in, the bar top itself was packed with regulars at an off hour on a Friday. We sat at a small table by the pull tabs. Fun & divey atmosphere with a pool table and plenty of photo ops. Decided on Bina's Burger (smash burger) with Fries, and a side of Mozzarella Sticks. Loved the classic cup the Coke came in, and I tried both of the Old Fashioned drinks on the menu. Bina's old fashioned is okay, and will do the trick if you're purely looking for effect. The Wisconsin old fashioned is very sweet with muddled cherries and orange. The mozzarella sticks were served with a tomato soup dip which was interesting, but makes sense (grilled cheese & tomato soup). Ultimately the smash burger is the star! Very salty and crispy and delicious! I could see this becoming a regular craving! Water and condiments are on a stand to the left of the pull tabs. read more

Tried Bina's for the first time on Tuesday, 12/16/25 Huge thanks to a DoorDash order from my generous sister. YUMMMOOOO! The meal did not disappoint! The Bina's Burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the grilled cheese was super cheesy and comforting, and the mozz sticks had a nice garlicky twist served with tomato soup (interesting). Even delivered, the food arrived lukewarm (as expected) and delicioso. I live a bit of a distance from the restaurant, but I'll make the drive to try everything in person sometime soon. read more

This was my first time trying Bina's food and I am completely impressed. Everything was seasoned great and portions were decent. My friend and I split the cheeseburger, grilled cheese, and mozzarella sticks. My favorite was the grilled cheese and dill pickle chips. I cannot wait to over order that in 2026. Their mozzarella sticks are served with tomato soup/dip, but I used that for my grilled cheese and it paired well. I did have this delivered via Door Dash, so I understand the quality isn't the same as if you ate at the restaurant - especially on a MN winter night. It was barely warm, but honestly, that didn't ruin the experience. I cannot wait to try their food again in their restaurant. read more

We stopped by Bina's for drinks and a snack and ended up loving it. We tried the vegan sloppy joe, which was flavorful and filling, and it came with a side of dill pickle chips that were perfectly crunchy. We specifically came for the holiday pop-up. The vibe inside was great, it felt like a tasteful Psycho Suzi's-inspired experience with a festive twist. The bar stayed fairly full most of the night, which was impressive (and fun) for a Monday. Bina's has a pool table, darts, and a few arcade games. The whole bar was decorated (even the bathrooms!). The staff were incredibly friendly (lowkey want to be friends with them lol hiiii). They also have a Christmas drink menu, and every drink we ordered was unique, festive, beautifully dressed, and came out quickly. I loved that they leaned into the tropical vibe with the cocktails instead of doing the same holiday flavors everyone else does. Ordering is done via QR code, which was easy and seamless. Overall, I loved the vibe, the drinks, and the clientele. Bina's was great, I'll definitely be back after the holiday season too. read more

Fun lil spot with good music, pool table, claw machine, darts and pull tabs. There's a lounge area with a couch and chairs that's pretty comfy. The food menu is small but they do it well! I love the dry wings, mozzarella sticks, fries, and the Rachel sandwich was super good! Burger is good too. They have a super good vegetarian sloppy Joe. I appreciate that it's a later night food option since there are so few left in Mpls. The cocktails are great, too, and they have $4 yummy Jell-O shots. Went twice for the holiday pop up bar and the drinks are fantastic! I've tried a few other holiday pop up bars and Bina's drinks are the best so far. Friendly, fast service. Order from your seat by QR code or order at the bar. read more

Stopped in here for their Halloween experience. The bar was decorated very nicely and the Halloween themed cocktails were very good! To eat we had the burgers which was exactly what we were expecting, not the over the top huge or "gourmet burger" experience you might get some places but just a good classic old-fashioned bar burger! It was great! Service was decent, we ordered on our phones and really only interacted when things were dropped off, but everyone was friendly! We'll probably be back for other holiday experiences they do! read more

Never been here before but halloween was a great time to start. Me and my date sat at the bar. Cool decorations all over, a little mix of Christmas and Halloween. Everyone working was fun and helpful with menu items. Ordered a couple drinks, pickle fries and wings. Everything was good, definitely recommend the Cajun pickle fries. The price and quality make this place somewhere i will definitely revisit. read more

Lovely service, great cocktails, and incredible ambiance. We were looking for some place fun to have some drinks and watch the World Cup and this place offered the perfect vibe. For late night no fuss eats, this is the place IMO. A memorable smash burger with the convenience of app based ordering system. Just the ticket for flights that arrive too late for most restaurants. Oh, and they have PBR! read more

I've been wanting to go check out the Halloween pop up and finally made it. Located in NE minneapolis next to other bars, restaurant, and brewery. We went during the day and it was the best decision. Plenty of street parking, bar was not busy. We walked in and checked out each decorations in each room until the bar and dining room. The bartender gave us the option of sitting at the bar top or table. They had a special Halloween drink cocktails and it was happy hour special. We tried a cocktail each and pickle fries. read more

Bina's Halloween bar was top notch. We went for Halloween music bingo and had a blast, didn't win any prizes. However, the prizes were gift cards and candles! How fun! For dinner we had a burger and came in for happy hour and got chips and dip and fries. We also couldn't resist the pickle rollup, those things are so big and it was so tasty! This is one of my favorite little bar spots, the vibes are awesome and the staff is exceptional. I loved all of the decorations, it made my Halloween heart happy! I'm already planning another trip there during their Halloween spooky bar. read more

I've been seeing a ton of social media post about the "X-mas Slay" Halloween pop-up bar. I convinced my mom we should stop by and check it out for lunch. We walked in on the patio side and as you walk further in the restaurant it's more decorated. Even the bathrooms were very decorated. The crowd seemed very mixed, there was a smaller party of bar hoppers, some locals and a few tables of casual diners. It was a seat yourself and order via QR code, service yourself vibe. We sat at a table near the bar. Despite there being 3 staff behind the bar, it wasn't super busy, very causal amount of customers, we were never greeted, checked on or anything. So I'd say service is at 0 stars. We ordered drinks as well as food - grilled cheese, upgraded the chips to fries, pickle fries and Green Gobo drink. The drinks came out fairly fast. The food was a whole different story. We were waiting and waiting. 30 minutes had passed- nothing. A man at the bar possibly an off the clock staff or regular got up and mentioned to one of the bartenders he ordered 30 minutes ago and needed his food to go, the bartender told him he could go in back and check, this was concerning a bit because y'all are just letting anyone in the kitchen, also why is it his job to check?? They had his food out within 3 minutes. I ended up getting up to explore the restaurant more, while I was walking around a couple had came in and sat on the other quieter side of the restaurant. They were the only ones on that side (w/ the pool table). About 15 minutes later a waiter was walking their food over. She asked if everything was good and serviced them w/ water. Our food came out a few minutes after theirs. Very interesting. There was also a man waiting over 10 minutes for a takeout order that was also running behind and he also go his food before we got ours and the bartender apologized for the wait and all the pleasantries. Meanwhile, the only time someone spoke was to say "here's your order" and that was it. Mind you when you order and pay before getting your food, it ask you for a tip, we tipped and still were met w/ horrible service. Definitely a situation where I would have tipped less for the service (that didn't exist), so that was very frustrating and disappointing. Honestly we wanted to leave after the 30 min mark. Because they weren't busy enough to wait that long for the quality of simple bar food they are serving. Also our food was lukewarm, not even hot. I also seen that they are owned by the same people that own Centro and Vivir next door which is crazy because the level of service are completely different despite them all being QR based. Overall a HARD pass for me. read more

Five stars for Fresca on the soda gun! Props to the bar tender for bringing the refills. Wings were smoky and crispy. Amazing ranch. Liked my tuna melt a lot. Love love this place! Kitschy, trendy yet unpretentious dive bar vibe with great food. Order with a QR code which some people hate but I personally don't mind. My mom got the blackberry bootlegger. She said it was not too sweet, "just right." Rare praise coming from a picky Norwegian boomer. I got the cowboy gimlet- delicious! We shared the deviled eggs, added herring. 1000/10, put the herring on the chip and eat it then shovel the egg in after. Tuna melts were perfect, with dill pickle chips on the side to put on the sandwich. Got a side of house made ranch to dip chips in based on previous reviews and wow, best ranch I've EVER had (and I'm a connoisseur). Espresso martinis were great. Staff were hot and nice which is such a rare combo. Got the 3 Bina bars for dessert which I would skip next time. I WILL BE BACK! read more

Great burger with lots of flavor, and you definitely need to get their Bina's sauce with their fries. Fries are a bit unique as they're a blend between a potato wedge and a thick cut fry. A fun spot in NE with fantastic food, great service, and good drinks. We were able to find a parking spot in their lot and a few seats at the bar at 5:30 on a Friday. We lucked out though as the place was packed! Ambiance is very dive-esque with old bar decor, pull tabs, and a pool table. It's not a huge spot, so it got pretty loud at times with all the people. I had the Cappelletti Spritz and the Cowboy Gimlet. The gimlet is great if you like spicy tequila drinks! I split the burger/fries and wings with my partner and don't know which one I liked more! Both were super tasty. And I'd never had fries like this before. I will definitely return, but maybe will try to go during a slower time. read more

Nestled in with the art district in NE Mpls, you'll find Bina's on a brick street in much need of work. Entering the front door from the unassuming bar front; you will find some lounge chairs, and a pool table (finally). Further back, you will find yourself at the bar. First off, this place gets four starts just for the name itself. It is probably the greatest name anyone could name a bar! If anybody knows a Bina, you'll know: 1. They are the coolest people. 2. They know where the skeletons are buried and will keep your secrets. 3. Will totally have a drink with you. Any day, any time. With all those superlatives I probably don't need to sell you any more on getting your rear-end here, but seeing this is Yelp, I can tell you more about the food and drink. First, the beer selection is modest, which is completely fine. You will find your standard IPA selections, Pils, Lagers, and some hard seltzers, and ciders. You will also have your choice of nationally branded beers. A Pabst silo (AKA Tall Boy) and a shot (Wild Turkey is their cool rail bourbon) will run you about $8.00. Their cocktails are well made, and they take their time to craft them appropriately, so big props here. I strongly suggest either Old Fashioneds or the Cowboy Gimlet if you want some spice in your life. On the Food side of the equation, everything has been pretty good. The Bina Burger is quite good. The Wings are very good. I will say whatever they try to pass off, as blue cheese dressing for the wings could certainly be much better. I am unsure what that watered-down stuff was served to me. The Nordeast Sushi, which is basically pickle rollups. These are good. This is just a personal note, but I didn't care for whatever they put in their cream cheese, but that's just me. The last item - their fries are like really thick potato chips...I really enjoyed them. Thus far, been here four times, and have had a blast day drinking here. Bartenders are cool, and you can drop yourself at the bar and chew the fat with your fellow bar patron easily. I realize that they market this as a "dive bar.", Compared to the places I drank growing up in Western WI, this place is plenty comfortable with a laid-back vibe, and this is the place I'll be hanging my hat at on the weekends. You should too. read more

As a long time fan of Centro and Everywhen, I was excited about their newest concept - "dive bar" Bina's. First and foremost, I am not crazy about a "dive bar" themed bar. You can't design a dive bar. It comes with age. Nothing about the decor of this place says "dive bar". Sure, they have tacky flooring and a weird wood panel bar back but it all looks new... probably because it is. I would probably use the word retro. Aside from that, this spot rocks. The staff was all amazing. There were 3-4 bartenders behind the bar and they all did a fantastic job making you feel welcome. Started my visit with an old fashioned. It was pretty solid. After the OF I turned my gears to Schells Deer Brand. This is one of my favorite beers and almost no bars carry it so that's a huge bonus. For food I began with deviled eggs. It was a deviled egg. Fine, but nothing jaw dropping and I didn't expect it to be. I had heard rave reviews about the burger right away so that's what I went for. It was freaking delicious. Definitely a bar burger. Nicely charred smash patty, soft bun, pickles and onions, cheese. There was also a burger sauce that I literally didn't taste at all but I didn't care. I was impressed just the way it was. I will not that my significant other received the wrong sandwich. We mentioned it and the bartender said was extremely apologetic and they brought out a new sandwich. And then the side was wrong. Honeslty, not a big deal. Place is new and they have kinks to work out. Overall we enjoyed the experience and will 100% be going back. read more

This place has a nice vibe to it! The price of drinks are great! Can get a nice cocktail for $10, the food is also reasonably priced. Although its hyped up to be "divey" or a rendition of a up north Wisco bar, I wouldn't go that far. i appreciate the vintage beer signs, the old photos of generations now gone, etc. but it doesn't cover up the fact this is a commercial building. With that said, I wasn't disappointed in my lunch. One of the best values in MSP, between 11-3 M-F, a burger and chips is $10. It was excellent. A greasy wagyu burger with fried onions, american cheese and sauce was decadent for all the right reasons. We sat at the bar and also ordered deviled eggs. They were solid and a value at $6. The bartender was great. Zero complaints. A solid experience. Wouldn't hesitate to stop back in when I'm in the area. read more

To start I'm giving 4 stars for the service. The atmosphere is still being built. Love the claw machine. The pull tabs that will soon be there. I'm not a loud music person, but they had the 70s disco music up and I was digging it. The bartender was awesome, very attentive. The food- I had the tuna melt on sourdough. It was good. I'm a sucker for a tuna melt. I asked for just chips but got the fries. Those are hand cut. Very good. Hubs got the binas burger. That was bomb. It made me think of the movie "the menu". Just all around good. Picture perfect and delicious. (If you haven't seen the movie. Watch it) The deviled eggs are to be rivaled with groveland tap. My loss of a star is the fact they are a "dive bar" Dive bars don't measure their shots. Teach the count for illusion if nothing else. It feels very hip to be square rather than a saddle up type of joint. Though at the end they win my heart with a cherry/fireball Jell-O shot. Though- I don't think dives offer those...... read more

Unique hip old style dive bar... does that make sense? Dark interior with disco balls to light up the atmosphere. My wine pour was significantly smaller than my friends, despite ordering & getting them at the same time. It was $11 and served in a small regular cup, not a wine glass. My other friend got one of the $14 cocktails which was very underwhelming as well. There wasn't really much "service", you scan the menu QR, order on your phone, and clean up your own dishes. Really enjoyed Binas. As a Wisconsinite I felt at home as they have Miller Lite, smash burgers, and cheese curds. This feels like a slightly upscale dive bar with pool table, pull tabs, and plenty of bar seating. This is one of those places were you order off your phone and pay and then they bring you your order which I used to really dislike but I found it to be not too difficult. I really like the happy hour and the fact they even have one...seems like many places in Minneapolis don't even have a happy hour anymore or it's very weak. This place offers beer and bump which I recommend. The burgers are good but are pretty salty. We also had the pickle fries which were fine but I think I'd be fine with the simple burger and fries again. The espresso martini also seemed like a popular drink and they had good bar staff. read more
