I came here because they have hand made tortillas! I got the chicken, asada and marinated pork. All were great but my favorite was the chicken! Definitely the best chicken taco I've had in a while! The flautas were also very very tasty! The agua de jamaica was super tasty! If you like hibiscus tea, give it a try! Service was quick and friendly! I was greeted when I arrived (: The vibe is family, quick bite, or hang with friends. Parking lot wraps around the building.

Great new taco spot! It's a super cool building with a fun aesthetic inside and the patio looked nice as well. The staff was awesome and our service was great, they were fun, friendly and helpful. I'm a sauce fiend and they have a ton of options so it was helpful to get their take on what they recommend for those especially. We got a few different things to try, the street tacos seemed popular and those definitely delivered and the quesabirria platter which came stocked with 3 tacos, consume, pickled veggies and beans & rice. The highlights for me were the consume which was rich and flavorful and the salsas. The guajillo salsa that came with the quesabirria platter was to die for and stole the show, it was smoky, creamy and delicious! You also have to try the Salsa Real which is their house salsa, beware if you aren't a spicy fan but I am and it had amazing spice and flavor and definitely gave the guajillo salsa a run for its money. We also had the agua Fresca Jamaica which was delicious and refreshing especially on a hot day.

I write about places and experiences I'd wholeheartedly recommend to friends--spots I'd gladly return to myself. El Taco Real is one of those gems. It checks every box for fast, high-quality food. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, there's something for everyone. The street tacos are perfect for on-the-go eating--affordable, flavorful, and surprisingly filling--while the larger dishes are satisfying and beautifully presented. The staff was warm and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. This is the kind of authentic, handmade, home-style cooking that feels both comforting and special. Inside, the pared-down, modern decor gives it a cool, relaxed vibe, and the patio looks like a great spot for groups. My family had a great time, and we're already planning our next visit.

Delicious new spot in walking distance from my house! Had chips & salsa, two street tacos, Gordita and churros. All were very good. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Woman who took our order was extremely pleasant, friendly and patient. Good came out quickly and was piping hot. Everything tasted super fresh. The avocado salsa on the Gordita was delicious! Space is small and was very clean. This is more of an upscale fast food place. Can't wait to try other menu items. Will for sure be back to this new neighborhood gem.

First time here after seeing their ad on Facebook yesterday. My husband and I ordered from the gourmet menu section. The gourmet plates had 3 tacos and depending on kind of meat and style, the pricing is different. My carne asada steak was flavorful and I liked that their in house corn tortillas have structural integrity and doesn't fall apart from the sauce like most places where they need to serve it with 2 tortillas. The cucumber lime drink was refreshing. It was good and glad we came to try it out. A little pricier than most taco places. Counter order than they bring your the food to your table with a number. Not much interaction once the food is delivered to your table. It's in the location of what used to be a Greek fast food. Small dining area with outdoor seating but no umbrellas so on hot and sunny days, it can be unbearable to sit outside. They have only been opened for 2 days.

This is high-end Mexican food made with love. I talked to the owner who told me you wouldn't believe what goes into making a taco. This is not a place that cuts corners on ingredients or anything. This is a small former Taco Bell location, but it is nicely and simply decorated, and the surface is amazing. You can eat outside there's multiple tables inside or take it to go. There's a huge creative menu. Stop in and grab some amazing food!

I ordered the tostado nachos- they were just ok. Something was missing that I can't pinpoint in the flavor. Service was fast and friendly and I enjoy that they have orange water in a self serf station. Prices were a little high for the portions. Small restaurant with small outdoor seating also. They have a parking lot

I got the breakfast burrito and added crispy cheese... it's probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also MASSIVE. The ambiance is very modern, with smooth tables and an enormous, vaulted ceiling. Service was quick and efficient, with a cash register/ordering station, and a separate pick-up station to the left. Took about ten minutes to prep my burritos. I ate one of them at home, saving a breakfast burrito for later in the week. Delicious carnitas burrito, good salsa. There is parking in back, and some on the side street without paying. The menu appears unique, a mix of traditional and fusion. Prices are in the $15 range for an entree. Food delivered warm, in aluminum wrap. Generous portion, quite satisfying. Note: Please participate in my proposed National Hispanic Small Business Week, starting Monday, Feb 2, to Monday, Feb 9. To begin with, our table and the menus given to us were very dirty and had lots of visible food tidbits, which made us have to clean things up a bit ourselves. That was okay, though, because I have experienced worse and wouldn't choose to let it impact my judgment to such an extent. I thought the only item that was solid was my lengua torta, which had a good amount of stuff inside ranging from meat to lettuce to mayo, and made me full in a very satisfactory way. A lot of the tacos were dry and reliant on the lime for a little bit of juice, including the birria tacos. My partner ordered the chicken, shrimp, and fish tacos, and thought they all tasted mediocre. Personally I enjoyed having some radishes because they cleansed my palate when needed. Another unfortunate event was that later that night, I experienced a severe stomachache and had to throw up. Granted, I have not tried their birria with consomé yet, which per my understanding was what made them famous since the beginning of time, at least according to a piece of newspaper I had seen next to the bathroom. Next time when I visit, I will try such instead, which I hope can provide me with an improved experience.

Let's start with service, the server was nice enough, but very rarely came by to refill drinks. The others were taken quickly, but the food all came out at wildly different times. I received my food probably 20-25 minutes before the last person received theirs. The wave was maybe 2 people's food at a time. The whole free dip with 5 Birria tacos was confusing as no one really knew which tacos qualified. As for the food, the horchata was okay. It wasn't super flavorful and seemed poorly mixed. I had to take the top off to try and mix it better, but the straw didn't work well. The goat Birria was very bland to me. I added all the hot sauce, but still couldn't even really taste it. I ended up mainly just dipping the tortillas in the green sauce, which wasn't bad. Perhaps I came on an off day. I'm not sure I would go back though.

In terms of taste, the birria ramen was very salty, to the point that I had to water it down a bit to finish it. I appreciated the idea of having this option but I seriously think more meat and more noodles are needed for the consomé to not have an overpowering taste. The tacos tasted good as usual and had a good amount of ingredients which I loved. Previously I came here to get lengua tacos and they had very little dry lengua meat. The torta was also good in the most conventional way, which grilled chicken, mayo, and more. Back in the days I used to order a tray of tacos, 25 of them, for about $75 which I believe is still the case for the same price.
