The absolute most lovely, welcoming and accommodating staff. Please give them all a raise! My salmon bowl was delicious and fresh, as always, parking is ample, and business was bustling. Workers were efficient and the entire restaurant was sparkling clean. CAVA is always my first choice!

The quality of the food was 10/10, very fresh. Considering the time of my order 5:30PM, I expected less but was hit with so much more. The resturant looks great, nice aesthetic [wood decor] and kind people working there. I feel like the portion was so generous too! We are already talking about our next visit and this meal is still ongoing!

Finally got to get this place out kinda like a chipotle but less stuff to choose from. Wasn't what I thought it would be.

Food is fresh and tasty. I liked the lamb and the eggplant salad. I was shocked to hear of an extra charge to get both black lentil and mixed salad greens because they are both grains??? Service was fast and efficient for 2 bowls. Serving size was good. At 1230 there was a line to the door. Lots of seating. There was a constant flow of pickup orders too.

I got the Harissa Avocado bowl with garlic sauce and extra pita crisps! The pita crisps make the meal so much better. The garlic sauce is a must in every bowl that you get. The service was great! They are very attentive and have such good customer service. There's plenty of tables inside! It's so spacious and there's also tables outside.

Cava is my go to! I had no idea Norwalk had a location, but I was commuting from the South Bay and decided to stop because I was starving. There was no line (which honestly surprised me), but I wasn't complaining. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and everything looked fresh and fully stocked. My bowl was great and made exactly how I like it. Overall, such a good experience, especially since other locations can sometimes be hit or miss. Definitely glad I made the stop!

Good option for Mediterranean food. First time visiting Cava and we were actually impressed with the concept. You can choose their pre-set menu of wraps or bowels or you can make your own, choosing your base (rice and/or veggies) and your protein as well as choice of toppings. We got the Garlicky Shawarma chicken bowel and the Falafel Crunch Bowel. We liked how healthy the falafel crunch bowel was as well as the flavors. The Shawarma was good as well with every bite being a little different because of the various toppings. Only complaint would be that the Falafel Crunch Bowel only comes with 2 falafel balls. We also enjoyed the variety of drinks. We tried the pineapple apple mint and the cucumber mint. They were both refreshing and not too sweet. We went on a Saturday late afternoon and there was a steady stream of customers. What I did notice was that some of the people who ordered ahead had to wait for their food. Pretty clean and spacious with plenty of tables. Two bathrooms are available for customers.

Salmon bowl

Not what I expected. I read the reviews about the stinginess in portions and they were not lying. I ordered the salmon bowl, nicely advertised outside the place, to be surprised with a sliver of salmon big enough for a 5 year old's appetite. Not worth the price. The meat on my other bowls was dry and got one pita triangle per plate despite spending almost $100 on 5 bowls (1-child's plate). The only thing I liked was the BYO veggie bowl. Food was decent, but small portions for the price.

Ordered Cava here on my lunch and they skimped me so nasty the bowl was so empty the only thing that barely made it look decent was the toppings but there was literally no base! I put a comparison photo to my order from another location a few days prior. This location skimps you.

Kids meal

It was my first time at this location. I recommend downloading and ordering via the CAVA app; which is easy and convenient. You'll receive text messages regarding order status as well as accumulate points for rewards. The mobile order pick up area consists of shelves towards the left side of the restaurant. Orders are packed in bags, clearly labeled and easy to find. Food: Mediterranean, pitas and bowls that you can customize to your liking. Many veggie options for non-meat eaters as well. Portion for the kids meal (base price is $7.95 plus tax, additional $ for options such lamb, chicken shawarma, steak) was fairly large, and definitely filling for an adult as well.

Chicken bowl with the works

Great place, always fresh and quick. The ambiance here makes you not want to leave in a rush, take your time with your friends and family and just enjoy. The service from all the workers was great except Mayra. When I was getting what I'd like in my bowl she kept asking me "is that it?" After everything I got. "Cucumbers." "Is that it?" "Tomatoes." "Is that it?" "Chips" "is that it?" "Garlic and balsamic sauce" "is that it?" "Pickled vegetables onions" "is that ?" "Corn" "is that it?" Felt rushed and didn't even want to tell her anymore stuff. Other than her the rest of the workers were great!

Add Cava to your list as a go-to healthy fast food option -- think Chipotle meets Mediterranean. Not sure how long it's been open, but it feels fairly new. The interior is clean, modern, and has enough seating to dine in comfortably. Ordering is straightforward: pick your base (greens or grains), protein, and toppings -- or make it easy and go with one of their chef-curated bowls. The food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Definitely planning to come back -- a great spot when you want something quick, healthy, and delicious!

Cava, I'd be honest. I love everything you have here but you're just too damn expensive. But I digress, I cheat the system and always come to your soft openings and eat for free. It's a difficult economy, ya know? I also take the whole family here because it's delicious and nutritious. With that said, this place is the closest location to us. So maybe you will actually see me here all the time. Just make sure you have enough Harrissa chips and my Harissa avocado bowl available. I didn't try it in your location, but every other location I've been to the steak is just too tough. I do also like your roasted eggplant, I think it's a must for any bowl. I hope your CEO and investing in food automation will help crank out delicious bites. But with what we've got the other day, it was delicious as it is. Honestly, skip the regular pita triangle they offer you in the beginning and just opt for the fried Harissa chips. It's life changing when served hot. Oh, speaking of Ambiance your orange bathroom reminds of me of jail. Thank goodness it was clean like always.

My empty bowl because it was so good I forgot to take a picture

Spicy, but not quick. It's like a slow tasty burn and then after awhile you realize it's hot! I found out later that the white sauce helped neutralize the hotness, but yes, that Lebamex sauce is a must try!!! I also preferred the hot cheetos burrito over the other one but that's probably because I tried it first! Both were great! Thanks for the experience! Im not usually in Downey, but hope I can visit again soon! ------- Hey! The service here is impeccable! The workers are so kind to me. I randomly came here on impulse because I was in the area and it was the first one my last that sounded interesting. There were a good amount of people that it looked really good. I saw many people coming in to order and pick up, so they seem a comfort food staple. They're very personable! They gave recommendations for me for what to order. I got the asada hot cheetos and the mix shawarma wrap. The smell of cooking here is delightful! I already know the food is going to be good with how the people dining in and taking out look really happy and excited. Thanks Yelp for the new suggestion! Also, idk if it was just because it's Sunday, but parking was plenty and easy. Good sized parking lot!

Fatima's grill was awesome…read more Don't be fooled this is a Lebanese / Mexican fusion, extremely unique. They have lots of options, treats and drinks throughout the store. My friends and I ordered the shawarma fries, Cali burrito, and the garlic shrimp fries. All of these were very good but I highly recommend the Cali burrito. Very common dish but Fatima's grill knocks it out of the park somehow. Idk how but he did. The shawarma fries also packs a lot of flavor and highly recommend. The GS fries were good but wish I got a little more shrimp. This place is not the cheapest but definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality.

Kabab Crush delivers a satisfying and well-executed meal with their Beef Kabab Combo Plate…read more While it's a bit on the pricier side, the portion more than justifies the cost. The plate comes with three filet mignon skewers, each incredibly juicy, buttery, and tender--clearly cooked with care and quality ingredients. The rice is another highlight: deeply flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning, making it a perfect complement rather than an afterthought. The combo also includes pita and two sides; I chose the hummus and yogurt cucumber, which added a nice balance of richness and freshness to the meal. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the food does take some time, but it's evident everything is made fresh and to order--well worth the patience. Overall, a hearty, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared plate that earns a solid 5

Finally doing this spot justice with a review because this is hands-down hubby and I's favorite…read moreMediterranean place. We've been here a good five times and I'm finally writing a review--better late than never. Parking is easy and there's a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. Ambience-wise, it's your typical fast-casual, in-and-out vibe. Nothing fancy and not super pretty inside, but don't let that fool you. Once the food hits your tongue, it's game over. Hubby and I are creatures of habit and always order our usual plates. He gets the beef and lamb kebabs, and honestly the portion sizes are so generous that our plates are interchangeable every single visit. A must-have side is their Mediterranean salad--get the large so you can save some for leftovers the next day. For my plate, I always order the red cabbage, hummus, sumac onions, and of course the Mediterranean salad, and it is always absolutely delicious. For the entrée, I go with the chicken and beef shawarma. The meat is perfectly shredded and pairs so well with their fluffy rice, plus the generous amount of garlic and tahini sauce. The only downside I would say is the pita bread. I personally don't care for how dry it can be, but to be fair, the best pita bread I've ever had was in Athens, Greece, so it's very hard to compare when most pita breads here are premade. Service is always fast and on point. This place is an absolute must-try if you're craving Mediterranean food. Happy eats!

Great food quality for the price - their lunch pricing at $21.99 is quite a deal. Dinner at $28.99…read moreis also great too. In addition, at dinner only, each person can order one lamb shank - just this piece of meat alone is worth your $28.99 visit. The restaurant food section is maintained very cleanly, food is beautifully displayed for a self-serve buffet restaurant. Plenty of seating area with ability to accommodate larger parties, and feels family friendly. The only shortcoming they have is that their fruit section tastes consistently unappealing, and some of the desserts don't tastes too great either. But at least their main dishes taste good. Regardless, this is a regular lunch spot frequented, and would bring friends over for dinner here, if they ever feel like Mediterranean.

I stopped by Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet in Cerritos for a brunch-style meal…read more For a buffet, the price didn't seem too expensive at first, but after eating, I didn't necessarily feel like it was an amazing value for what I had. To be fair, I went on a weekend, so I paid the highest price. I could see this place being a much better value during weekday lunch. The inside was very clean, which I appreciated. One thing that felt a little awkward was the service setup. There didn't really seem to be servers inside, and you pay when you leave, so I wasn't completely sure how much tip made sense. I noticed they even had a 10% tip option, so I'm guessing they know the setup can feel a little unclear. The food overall was clean and decent. It felt like they had pretty much everything you would expect from an American-style Mediterranean/Middle Eastern buffet. Nothing really stood out as especially amazing, but there was a good variety, and most of the food gave me that "this is probably healthy" feeling. I'd consider coming back if I were with friends who really like Mediterranean food.
