Call me stupid, or whatever, as I have been to this restaurant several times and have never had a good meal. We were out for a ride on a nice sunny Sunday and decided to have lunch near the water. We called our close friends and asked them to join us, which they did. As others have said, the view is great and there's nothing bad to say about it. But, that's where the good news ends. We sat on the outside patio and waited for some time to have a server take our drink order. After we received the drinks, it took a long time for the server to come back for our lunch order. I ordered the "special" hamburger "medium rare" and my friend ordered his "medium". As we sat waiting for our food, we observed several parties seated after we had ordered. Their meals came out quickly, so there we sat waiting, waiting and more waiting. We asked our waitress to check on our order and she said that she had been in the kitchen "screaming" at the kitchen staff to get our order out. When the meals came, my "medium rare" hamburger was about 1 short step from being charcoal. It was done well beyond "well done". My friend, who ordered his hamburger "medium" got what he asked for. Now, how can the cooks, who receive the orders at the same time, cook one burger medium and one that was almost inedible because of the way it was cooked. Well beyond "well done". The waitress said she would send the manager over, When he came to the table, his comment was "you wanted to see me"? I calmly explained the disappointment in the service and especially disappointed on the condition that my "medium rare" hamburger had been served. This guy couldn't have cared less about what I was saying and asked my "what do you want me to do about it? He offered me an after dinner drink, or a dessert and a gift certificate for a future visit but never offered to take the burned hockey puck off of my bill. So, he gave me a dessert and a $15.00 "gift certificate" which I will never use because I will never go back to that place again. If you read other reviews, many comments are similar to mine, poor food, poor service and poor attitudes. This restaurant could be a gold mine if they cleaned up their act and hired someone who knows how to cook, which, apparently, is not the case. The manager said he had five cooks in the kitchen that day and doesn't understand why it took so long to get our food. Management's attitude really sucks and they only care about making money, not providing their customers with a good meal and good service. If the person who spoke to me is the manager, he should be fired. If he was the owner, he should sell the restaurant to someone who knows how to operate a restaurant and turn it into a first class eatery. Certainly, management and the owners don't know a thing about running a restaurant.
So, if you want to higher price for lousy food, poor service and attitude, but a lovely view, this is the place to go. Bon Appetite. read more
