This is becoming a neighborhood favorite! Great whiskey selection (obvs) and good food. The wings are great and we love that they have great entrees in addition to burgers and wings.

Buffalo chicken wrap and loaded tots, pretty yummy!

Really cool spot right around the corner from the beach. Came with a group of people to support a local band playing at the outdoor stage and we had a really good time! The stage is really big for an outdoor bar area and it felt like we were at a real concert. It gets very loud but we could still talk to each other. Service was a tad slower but nothing to complain about and our server was friendly too. We started off with the traditional wings with blue and gold sauce, which were messy/sticky but delicious! Nice subtly bbq flavor with actual bleu cheese chunks sprinkled on it. We also got the fried Buffalo chicken wrap with loaded tots on the side. I thought the wrap was decent but my fiancé did not like the warm soggy lettuce inside. Loaded tots with cheese and bacon are a must have, can't really mess those up! All and all we will definitely be back!

Perfect spot to go grab some wings after a day on the lake... I've been here several times and just can not stop ordering the "Award Winning Blue & Gold Smoked Wings." I have had wings from a lot of places in Rochester and this one is by far my favorite!

Love the history and ambience-look for the log of first snows on the wall dating back to the 1930s!…read moreI love the hang out atmosphere where kinds-and adults-can play and hang out. I am from Detroit and love the style of pizza and they have a good version. Most importantly the crispy cheese crust and topping to the end of the pie. But... the pretzels are deep fried and are slightly sweet. The cheese sauce was a little light on flavor also. The service was fantastic.

So first off the old mill is a really cool location. Still has some of the old millworks inside…read more Lots of cool spaces as opposed to one big open room. There was a youth softball team celebrating the end of the season upstairs so it was a bit loud, but fun. It's right on the creek and there's plenty of outside seating and picnic tables so if the weathers nice you can get your food and beverages and head outside. The bar tenders were all good, let us try a couple samples to make sure we were gonna like what we ordered. There's a separate spot to order food and the young girls working the food spot were unenthusiastic... We ordered the chorizo poutine, Roni Stark Pizza and Tampa Bay Bustdown burger. The pizza was good, honey drizzle was a nice touch, but the poutine and burger were the clear winners. Chorizo gravy had a good kick, and there were big chunks of cheese curd, nice. The burger had 2 smashed patties, nice crispy edges and a ton of flavor. The Gouda cheese and bacon they are using are both high quality. A lot of variety of beers on tap, not all IPAs which was nice for someone that isn't an IPA guy. Tried 2 lager, an ale and a pilsner they had on tap and I'd drink any of them again.

It also has a couple outdoor tables. The Meatless fried chicken sandwich was PHENOMENAL, we have tried a couple at other places which were good but now that Ive had this one, they dont compare!! This sandwich will make us a regular customer. We also tried the Drunken cheddar soup which was very good. For beer we had a local made Ithaca draft. They only had 8 beers on tap, but shelves of different whiskey.. The staff were all very sweet girls and were constantly asking if everything was okay. *Would love to see a couple more vegetarian/vegan options.

Last evening we stopped for dinner and a beer. We had an excellent British beer, Speckled Hen. We shared the Chicken Korma and Fish and chips (with the peas). The chips were very crisp and the fish was fresh. The curry was mildly spiced. We meet a couple from England. The man in the couple did an internship at the Old Toad years ago. He stopped in when traveling in the area because The Old Toad is the kind of place that you remember. You should stop in soon.
