First time visiting this restaurant and I'm a little surprised it's not rated higher. Making…read morereservations for 1pm on Mother's Day, we were immediately greeted. Requesting if the outdoor seating is available, the staff happily obliged. We started with a few appetizers which include their lobster bisque, potato skins and crab cakes. The lobster bisque was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to see chunks of lobster meat throughout the soup. The crab cakes were packed with crab and had a crispy exterior and tender interior. Although I personally prefer my crab cakes pan-fried and these were deep fried, I actually found them very enjoyable. As for the potato skins, these were pretty standard and nothing to write home about. For mains, I opted in for one of their Mother's Day specials which was their prime rib. I found this to be incredibly tender. I did however find this to be under-seasoned and 30% of the prime rib to be pure fat, but nevertheless this was tasty. For dessert, I opted in for their vanilla creme brulee which was tasty. The consistency of the custard, I found to not be as smooth as I'm used to, but again nevertheless it was tasty. I have to point out the service and hospitality from Audrey (our Server), and Declan (helper) was impeccable. Audrey was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Both constantly checked up on us and made our experience even better. The atmosphere, along with the great food, and along with the great service, we'll definitely be back.

What is little gem! Tucked away in a small Plaza on Dewey Avenue, it's been a bar at least three…read moretimes before. But now it's not just any bar. It's a little Neighborhood Place you can come alone and feel welcome and safe. It's a place where if you come to eat good bar food, you're in the right place. It's a place that if you come to meet new people and enjoy st that kind of a bar. It also has a patio, and if you are or know native Rochesterians, we LOVE dining al fresco, since we only get like 10 days of sun a year (okay, actually it's 165 , but we're not exactly overrun with sun). The first time here, I install myself on a bar stool and immediately greeted by and waited on by Todd (one of the owners). I asked for an Ice Pic, which no bartender in Rochester has ever even heard of. So I figured it must be a Pittsburgh thing. He made it, and immediately offered to make me something else if I didn't like it. It was a little heavy on the lemon (pucker worthy). He happily subbed a White Claw. They have black cherry and mango. I had one of each, and preferred the mango. It's served in a can, so I asked for a glass of ice. Very refreshing. Anyone that knows me, knows I'm a wing girl through and through. I ordered wings, half medium buff and half garlic parm. Both were very good and mostly drums. Todd was attentive, fun and friendly. Very chill dude. The customers, obviously locals, were very friendly. The second time I was here, Ashley, the bartender, suggested a Deep Eddy. Refreshingly alcoholic. I had fried mushrooms. They come in a little metal bucket; at least 10 to 12 tender, plump, perfectly fried mushrooms. There was a tiny bit of water inside, which is to be expected and it didn't at all ruin the mushrooms. They're served with blue cheese. Honestly, they were so good, they didn't need dressing. I have two suggestions. One, they provide some sort of shade for the patio. The tables and chairs, which are metal, are in the sun (a couple tables have umbrellas). I think a big canopy over the patio would do the trick. Second, use a bit more light. It's a but dark. I fiddled with all the settings on my camera, and still could not get decent interior shots. I think it's much better with the blinds open, but at night...hmmm. To be fair, I've never been here past 7 p.m. I know...atmosphere. And I'm a total cornball when it comes to (love and) romance. But this isn't designed for that. It's a neighborhood bar with good food, friendly folk and a chill, fun vibe. And you can't improve that.

Today alone we waited for 45 minutes and were not acknowledged we finally moved to the bar where we were able to order. The months special was unavailable (6 days into the month) the food didn't come out until almost another hour passed. We are so extremely unimpressed everytime we go there.
