I will start this as I always do by saying I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I was not sure what to expect when I chose this place for lunch. It looked good and close to where my customers work place was. It turned out to be a good choice. I called for a lunch reservation but turned out it wasn't needed. There were a few tables filled but there was plenty of room. The tables were nice as we got a high top that reminded me of a bowling lane it was kinda cool. The chairs were mismatched on purpose and I loved it. They had a sitting area with a big soft looking couch. The menu was a good size and I liked a bunch of options. I went with the rice bowl with portobello. It was delicious. It had picked vegetables, rice, pico and some sort of wasabi drizzle. I would have eaten another. We got an app that was pita, veggies and pita. The hummus was good and the pesto was very good the only down side is it could have had more pita as there was a lot of pesto hummus and roasted red pepper dip left. Staff was quick and chef was on top of her game I would suggest for anyone that is in the area. Stop in give it a try. I will come back and try some other meals. The burgers that came out looked amazing as they went by

Great service and awesome food! Second time and no hiccups. Nice servers, staff and vibe. Nothing like it around the area. Shut it down each time and owner is a delight to talk too.

We happened upon The Coterie by absolute chance. This is truly a hidden gem in the suburbs of Rochester! Such a great ambiance with eclectic vibes. The menu had something for everything. Cocktails were incredible as well. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but we were too excited. The 777 Seafood Spinach Dip and Chicken Cordon Bleu Egg Rolls are an absolute must try. Service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

First time here, and very impressed! Drinks are great. We got the blueberry mojito, mint julep, and their rhubarb cocktail. I got the black bean burger and my spouse the turkey burger. Their custard dessert was great as well! Very friendly staff and nice vibe inside. Can't wait to be back- thank you!

We were on the west side of town on a Monday night for a family event and needed a place to enjoy a…read morenice casual dinner. Of course, Monday nights are always difficult with so many restaurants closed but my wife used Yelp to see what was open nearby. Cristo's popped up. We weren't familiar with the restaurant (my sister in law indicated that a pizza restaurant had been in this location several years prior with good pizza but a bad attitude) but what the heck, we thought we would give it a try. Well, I can't say enough nice things about Cristo's. We thought we were going for pizza, what we ended up with was some of the best homemade pasta (almost all is homemade), gnocchi, and a wonderful chicken parm that was to die for. Loved the marinara sauce - clearly everything was homemade (including the bread). Pleasant environment. Not loud, well laid out. Good selection of wines (too bad that we learned afterwards that there was no corkage fee on Mondays). Just a wonderful little restaurant with great service, superior food, and well-priced. Can't emphasize the latter enough with today's inflation. And the choices on the menu if you don't like pasta are also intriguing. Nightly steak choices (the filet mignon on a Monday night sounded wonderful but I just had to try the pasta). Wish we had something on the east side like this!

Easily one of the better Italian restaurants in the area for casual dining. The Caesar salad was…read morevery good with all the flavors a proper Caesar salad should have. For my main course I ordered the rigatoni bolognese which was fantastic. The sauce was a lighter version of a traditional bolognese, but still packed with flavor. The only thing that kept me from giving this establishment 5 stars was the martini I ordered. It was served in a cosmo glass but was filled about 1/3. Because the glass is cone shaped, the volume was certainly less than 1/4. The bar tender needs to up their game and learn how to serve a martini. Charging $16.50,for what amounted to a short shot, is almost criminal. I would definitely go back. But next time, I'm ordering a bottle of wine in lieu of a cocktail.

We were fortunate to get one of those. It was decorated very tastefully for Christmas. Dinner was good, portion size for price was ok. My vegetable side was smaller than a baby portion, 4 string beans, one carrot piece. I had sesame salmon, and it wasn't anything special. Glaze on side tasted like from a bottle off supermarket shelf. Husband had the chicken french/lemon something. He enjoyed it. Just nothing impressed with the meals. Desserts however, are unbelievably delicious and generously portioned! Had a tough time making decision. This place, known for its desserts has a full bakery display when you walk in. We shared a slice of cake, we loved it. I would definitely come back for dessert. Most likely takeout, if ever in area again. I don't plan to ever return to Rochester. It was one time situational visit. Service was courteous & friendly.

Always friendly staff and great food in a relaxing dining area. If the weather is nice, it's also great to sit outside on their patio. They have specials that are really good. I've never had anything bad here. And a few are looking for desserts, this is the place to go! As soon as you walk in the door, you can see all the dessert selections in their glass case. They also have ice cream imported from Maine, which is very very good. Give this place a try if you're in town.
