Just tried this on a whim. It was... just ok. The chips from the chips & salsa free appetizer tasted stale. I ordered the margarita flight and the Tulum flight--margarita was definitely better. The spicy pear and watermelon drinks in the Tulum flight weren't great. Please avoid the Baja fish tacos at all costs. Not sure what that was... a very flat piece of fish with soggy breading that wasn't even sticking to the fish. Nice to have some sauces on the side to jazz it up, though. It doesn't come with rice and beans, but I did enjoy those sides. The green burrito was also just ok. Missing something... a little too earthy. read more

I wanted to try this place for awhile, was curious to see how things would go with the other reviews... nice outside area out front.. but unfortunately the weather was rainy. Inside there's two sides, sit down restaurant area or a large bar area with lots of fun activities. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and promptly given an ice cold bottle of corona. Chips and salsa were great, even better with queso I went with some tasty birria street tacos, seasoned slow simmered beef tacos... delicious. Came with flavored rice and a lovely sauce. read more

TNT has everything you need to be a community staple, the same way that the previous establishment was for decades before. Let's start with the ambiance though. You walk in, and are immersed in a fun setting. The colors and vibrant, and the music is upbeat. It's not your abuela's taqueria, that's for sure. Definitely a fun environment, and that's just the bar side. The food is phenomenal. I've never been to Mexico, but the menu appears to draw on influences all over the map. We were greeted with $5 margaritas that were excellent, and complimentary chips and salsa that were as good as you'll get. I ended up ordering the Elote and the Birria Tacos. If you've never had them before, Birria Tacos are kind of the Mexican equivalent of a French dip - braised beef in a tortilla that usually gets crisped and cooked in the birria au jus (laymen's terms). Try them, they're tantalizing. Same with the street corn, definitely delicious. Wifey had the lunch burrito, it was bomb as well. The service was superb. Our bartender Angela was on point. The food came within a reasonable timeframe. You can't ask for a better experience. Granted, it was lunch on a Monday, but you have to execute and they did. read more

Another Mexican place in Gates. We went on a Wednesday night. Got a table right away. It took a while for someone to come to our table, but once they realized no one has taken our order they were very prompt after that. I ordered a margarita flight. The flavors where good but it was watered down. There was barley any alcohol in it. Our food was good, however I thought the price point was a little high for Mexican. If you are coming here to look for your typical combo meal with rice and beans, you won't find it here. Most meals don't include sides. read more

Wow! This place was fantastic! Server was really sweet, checked back often -the salsa was the Best I have ever had! Got the bandara burrito and it was HUGE! it was the size of a 2 layer cake (4" thick!!!) and came with three sauces (verde, queso n enchilada) to look like the Mexican flag! How cool! The rice was so good, everything was so balanced with tasty authentic spices and flavours yet very different than every other Mexican restaurant! The rice was so SO good I got another whole plate -that's how big the side was! Reminded me of homemade Puerto Rican rice that a chef friend used to make. so good! not many people on there but cool ambiance because they accommodated a party of 12 and had the bar in the other side behind a door with a pool table. Picture this Friday Night 5pm. Looking for a place to eat we decided to stop at this place It looked like it was busy with the number of cars outside. Guess they were bar patrons. The restaurant had maybe 10 tables occupied. Got seated quickly. Got water quickly. Got Salsa and chips quickly. After that the speed of service slowed down to a stop. My wife, my daughter and myself finally ordered after a long 15 minute wait. Chimichanga(17.99), enchilada(16.99) and kids chicken tenders(12.99) the excuses we got about how backed up the kitchen staff was ridiculous. Everything from... we just opened two months ago. To The bar is extremely busy. The favorite I heard from the table next to us was. She doesn't know how but when she entered the ticket it didn't print. I should have known how slow the service was when people got up after just getting water. I will skip past the lack of wait staff checking on people and go straight to the food. Small portions for the amount you pay. They charge extra for everything that comes standard at a normal Mexican joint. And the food tasted like I had been sitting in a crockpot or under a heat lamp for hours. This place was hot garbage. This will be one of those places that I will return only if someone else pays for it. read more

The tacos were really good. So were there burritos. I would say for the best experience just grab a main course a fountain drink and that's about it. I will say there wiped cream was really watery. But the actual flan was amazing. Some drinks were on the expensive side of things but the service was amazing too she was nice. The ambiance was also nice. There was music playing and the decor makes it look really nice. Also the smell of rubber in the entrance was really weird but luckily it did not smell bad after we got out of the room. But that was brief and the new servers and waiters came around and were very polite. The menus were a unsanitary, I really didn't want to touch it because I didn't see any hand sanitizer around. The service and the food were terrible. We received our chips and salsa right away but then we waited 20 minutes for drinks and for the waitress to take our orders. There was only two other tables in the whole restaurant. We knew we were in trouble when she was writing our order on a little scrap paper and she was having a hard time understanding our order. The queso had chunks of unmelted queso in it. The chips were cheap and terrible. Two of 4 meals were incorrect. Added chicken, cheese, etc when we asked for it to be omitted. We had to remind her to bring our sides. The other two meals were awful. The burrito wasn't cooked. They slapped cheese and cooked chicken in a tortilla and called it good. I don't recommend the beef fajitas. We got thin ribbons of beef, not the chunks of beef that you usually get with fajitas. Needless to say, the meat wasn't very flavorful. I understand this place just opened, BUT having to wait 1+ hours for food is absolutely ridiculous. We were never offered refills on our drinks. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the wait at all. When your waitress is seen taking multiple times on her phone and not paying attention to the tables, it's unbelievable. Not once did we have a manager come over and explain or apologize. Instead, we got all the excuses from different staff members. Once the food DID come, my husband's came first, 2 mins later, my daughter's, and then mine almost 20 mins later. We decided to try the new Mexican place. When we were seated tge waitress waited on 2 tables that were seated after us. That was discouraging. Once she di arrive she seemed out of sorts. Millie was her name. Flowers then ordered our food and drinks. The Margaritas were good but we never received our appetizer. They did take it off the bill. Horrible experience. Ordered fajitas for two and it came out the same size as the lady in the next booth who ordered fajitas for one. Manager tried to explain it off by saying there was double meat. Not even close. Asked her right out if she would pay $30 for this. Didn't get chips without asking. Had to keep asking the server for things like drink refills. No sour cream. Rice was dry.
