We had a great experience at mama Lors cafe. We were with a bug group, 13 of us in total. We did have reservations. Server was very attentive, brought water out to everyone right away, then took drink orders. Considering we had a large group and it was a busy Saturday morning, all of our food came out within 30 minutes and all was warm and fresh. The Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and so were the fries I added for $2 more. They make their own chips if you prefer those. If you do not like spicy Buffalo sauce I would recommend getting this on the side. My husband got breakfast with hash browns. The hash-browns were thick and almost like they made them in house. Our toddler loved them. We will definitely be back to try different items mama lors has to offer.

Happy to find that Mama Lors has a second location given their food has always been a hit in my experiences in Webster. They have a private parking lot, which was pretty full this Sunday brunch hour. The seating area is open and bright. It can get noisy with the buzz of conversations around. Food did not disappoint. My daughter and I both love our eggs benny and we would order them again. The food came out quickly and given how busy it was, it didn't feel like we waited long. We were in and out in about two hours. Looking forward to coming by during the warmer days.

Texas French Toast & side of bacon

First time dining at the new location. It was easy to find, plenty of parking in the back, and a big patio with outdoor seating! The main entrance is in the front of the building, so it may be a trek for some, especially in the winter. There are stairs too, but there may also be a ramp on the other side (sorry not sure) of the stairs. Inside is bright with large windows, lots of seating, a full bar and a few high top tables. The hostess stand is readily available but there is not a lot of room to stand & wait. I could see this being an issue on busy winter nights. There are two gender-neutral restrooms (one person at a time) on the far end of the dining space. We were able to get breakfast or lunch on a Friday at 1pm. We both opted for breakfast. Lindsay was great and got our orders in quickly. ALL of the staff were hustling around - service should not be an issue here. We were seated by the kitchen and all of the food coming out looked and smelled amazing. Hubby had the Texas French Toast with a side of bacon and hot tea. Bacon was a little dry but the toast was great. I had the Bumz Plate Skillet and it was delicious! I did ask for cheddar instead of American cheese, and that request was ignored by the cooks. The meat sauce could be spicier IMHO, but they do have hot sauce if you need it. Neither of our meals were hot, which was surprising. They were not cold, but my guess is they sat for a few minutes before they were brought out to us, but it was a busy Friday. We love the cookies at the other location but Lindsay said they don't have them at this location, or any in-house made desserts. They do have lots of pies, I think from Leo's. And, there is no wood-fired pizza here either, but there are plans to add it sometime in the future. Overall nice meal, clean & bright space, friendly staff and good food. We would return!

French onion soup

The food was good, especially the fish fry. I'd pass on the french onion soup due to the mammoth onions. Their beer selection bottled and on tap was just right. The service was also very good. The decor is nice and pretty standard, it is quite open so noise travels. Everyone liked their meals.

Was treated to a soup I really love Manhattan Clam Chowder. Jen was awesome putting in this request. This place rocks. Cheers

We will definitely be back Jen put in my request and was lucky that Tony whipped this Manhattan Clam Chowder Both of the rock. This place rocks Cheers

Garlic fries, Mac cheese mini fish fry

Very happy with my service. Food was good. Wanted garlic fries they made them special for me because they were not on the menu. Fish fries are huge for the mini and the regular size. I purchased the mini see picture.

I finally had a Sunday off (retail life) and we decided to try out the newer location of Mama Lor's, although I've never been to the other location. First thing I love is they take your name and number and text you how long your wait is, which on a Sunday at 11AM, 15 minutes was NOT a bad wait time. We sat in our truck to wait, but they have a small enclosed patio you would wait in as well. We were seated promptly 15 minutes later and my husband ordered a Bloody Mary (he said it was delicious!) and I had a hot chocolate (also delicious.) For eats, I had the cinnamon roll pancakes....I mean, check out the photo! So delicious & not overly sweet. The combination of cinnamon and icing was perfect! I had the short stack with a side of bacon and could not finish it, so naturally my husband helped! He had the pastrami and Swiss omelet with home fries. He is green, so VERY particular with home fries and he was not overly impressed with them, but his omelet made up for it. It was filled with pastrami and Swiss and looked amazing, but not my thing. Overall, we will definitely be back, and looking forward to warmer weather as it looks like they will have outdoor seating!

BBQ burger

Super cute and clean space, airy and open. A nice patio area out front for a nice day like today. Servers super friendly. Had the best Buffalo cauliflower "wings" I've ever had, by far. Very good apple pecan blue cheese salad. Only complaint was the boyfriend's steak on his salad was very tough. Otherwise , liked it a lot and will definitely come back. Didn't realize there was a bar inside and interested to see if they decide to stay open a little later and have some live music which would be perfect.

the food was fine, but the margaritas were so weak I feel that they were some kind of scam. Not thrilled.

The desserts come in giant glass about 1.5 feet tall, the steaks massive, and the atmosphere a good festive place that makes you feel like you are on some nautical adventure. Steaks- must get. We got the rib eye and we got the standard size- 18 oz? It was HUGE. I had to flag the waitress down to makes sure they didn't give us the wrong order due to the size. We had to take it home between 2 people. Luckily we didn't call the 24 oz. That thing would have been about 1 foot across. If you're eating for 1 person, get the 14 oz. that is plenty. the 24 oz can probably feed a family of 4. Appetizers wise, I thought these weren't as impressive as the main courses. you may be ok with not ordering these unless you just want to kill time and have things to graze on. the main portions are already so big that I would save your appetite for that instead. We ordered sriracha apricot duck legs which were ok- just reminded me of some Panda Express Honey chicken dish. The artichokes were also not memorable. Crab cakes were good- definitely get this if you had to get an appetizer. Fresh oysters were fresh. If you're an oyster person, would also get this. Seafood- we ordered the Tuscan seafood pasta. This was actually an ok dish. The seafood was plenty but it was such a large dish with the pasta being a little too overcooked by the time you get 1/3 in that it was kind of a big overwhelming underflavored dish. If you can split it fast among like 3-4 people and eat it fast while hot this may taste better. For 1-2 people it's ok for flavor. We had to to go this dish because it was on a blander in with a LOT of protein Desserts- definitely need to order one of their GIANT sundaes. it's served in a glass wine glass the about 1 foot tall making it impressive in presentation and definitely setting the tone for celebration at your table. Service- attentive and good. Atmosphere- loud and celebratory. Think of nautical ship vibes and drinks galore and large seafood. Come here for sure in a ready mood to go big or go home vibe.

I have ordered two different omelettes on two different occasions now: an egg white with spinach and mushroom and a meat lovers. Both were quite overcooked and the meat lovers seemed like a thin sheet of egg that they filled with toppings later on like a crepe. Additionally the meat lovers side of rye toast was obviously burnt but still served to me, I just ate around it for a few bites and gave up. My husband ordered fish and chips the first time - I thought the batter was tasty and enjoyed it though I think the filleting of the actual fish could have been a lot cleaner. This item is the only reason my review is not a one star, I thought it tasted good. The second time he ordered clam chowder and a salad that had chicken, fruit, nuts. The salad was fine nothing wrong but not a stand out either it seemed similar to something I'd get as a salad kit from the store. The clam chowder though was awful, so thick and gelatinous it seemed like it was canned which is already a red flag but one of those canned soups that you're supposed to add water to and like they forgot to do that part. On top of being weirdly thick it was also cold you can tell they didn't heat it thoroughly whether that was in a microwave or not though I can't really tell. I truly don't understand the hype or reviews for this restaurant given we've tried multiple items and for the most part fell flat with the sole exception of the fried fish. I was disappointed given the expectation from other reviews and unfortunately we won't be back for a third try.

I went in with reasonable expectations, this is perfectly acceptable, edible, I'd eat here again…read morefood. There's lots of parking. I was actually surprised how large it is inside. I met a friend I haven't seen in probably nearly 17 years for lunch on a Friday. We never felt rushed or pressured to hurry up. I didn't notice much of a wait but it was nearly always full. A good indication of quality. When you first walk in there's a dessert case and they all looked tasty. I knew I was in a good place. They serve breakfast all the time. Score. I had a Swiss cheese omelet I requested it well done because I don't like it runny or slimy-it still was and that's really why I didn't give a 5. I didn't want to be a pain and send it back so I dealt with it. I ate the whole thing, I just wish it hasnt been undercooked. I got the breakfast potatoes. They are exactly perfect the way I like them, some bits nice and crispy and other bits soft but cooked through. (I'm going to come here again because of the potatoes). I had a grilled hard roll and coffee. They offer flavored creamers which I like. My friend got ham and two eggs but added a third with toast. She liked her food as well. I got two slices of rainbow cake to go. Let me tell you-it was fantastic. My mom and I both liked it a lot except this is going to be oddly specific, the blue and green layers, the frosting on the back of them has something EXTREMELY crunchy in the frosting. It felt like those little hard decoration balls and they were very unpleasant. My mother also commented about something crunchy in the frosting so she didn't care for it either. Another reason I didn't go full 5 on my review. The frosting on the other layers up was fine. It was really tasty. The cake was moist and not dried out. I noticed it was pretty popular. The service was good. It was really busy and we tried to flag our server down a few times and she didn't see me and that's okay we were there for two hours and she had a large section and like I said we weren't exactly campers but we were catching up and we weren't her priority and this is perfectly acceptable. Both my friend and I having been in the food industry for over 20 years completely understood. Our needs were never not met. We had what we needed and didn't have to wait long on refills on drinks ever. We will meet again there since we both had a very positive first time experience.,

As a nod to the local food scene, we "started" with their version of a garbage plate. One dog and one burger. Was very good. Shared with my son as an appetizer. Was more fun than anything else. But it was tasty, not greasy for what it is. My son then ordered a pastrami Ruben. The portions are excellent. The marble rye and the fries clinically perfect. The pastrami was mid-level deli wog. Kind of a disappointment. I had a turkey club. The best I've had outside of NJ. Clearly house roasted turkey. Perfect toast to meat and veg ratio. Fresh. Delicious. My only knock is YOU DON'T put cheese on a club!!! I'll ask for no cheese next time. The next two points are really how I judge a diner... pickles and coleslaw. Pickles were good. But just good. The Cole slaw was very good. I was happy. Service exceeded my expectations. Really fantastic. Prices very reasonable. Excellent portions. Simply cannot wait to go again and try a burger.
