Amazed at how efficient and pleasant the drive thru was today, compared to my local (Buffalo) area. This is probably the Starbucks I go to the most.  I usually use the drive thru.  I've probably actually gone inside twice. The staff are always friendly.  Quick and easy. Like most Starbucks experiences. Caramel Brulee Frappuccinos at Christmas time are my favorite! read more

I love starbucks because it is consistent. This location however is consistently disgusting. Every time I come here they come up with innovative ways to mess up my coffee. One time they served me a translucent iced coffee, meaning I could see directly through the sink water they had in my cup. Another time they mixed my iced coffee with one of their charged energy drinks - how does that even happen? ALSO all of their straws are always crushed/have holes in them. Is someone sitting on all of the straws before they go out? You know I have not figured out what the cause of the issue is - either gross negligence or some perversion of the employees to ruin my day. I absolutely adore this location! The staff here is quick as can be and I have never had an issue with my order. Two of my siblings live out in the Webster and Ontario area, so this is a frequent stop for me when I am heading to their houses in the afternoon or morning. It is an easy peasy drive thru that moves very quickly (at least at non-peak times) and their staff is so friendly. They have all the appropriate COVID measures in place right now including masks and glove wearing. My usual order is a pretty bare bones iced or hot blonde roast, but when I've opted for espresso macchiato those have, unsurprisingly, been up to the usual Starbucks standard. Consistently get my order wrong and average drive thru time is 22 minutes. They had the nerve to ask me to pull away and park in parking lot (which was packed) . After 10 minutes I went into the store. They were quick to let me know they were shorthanded and thanks me for my patience. My patience had worn thin. Being shorthanded is no for excuse getting my order completely wrong. Management tip .. if you are shorthanded and there is a rush, stop worrying about who's going on break next. Beside it being a weekend and during a busy time, the staff took soo long to complete our order for my bf and I. If you're gonna hire people, at least hire people with coordination and have one person at each station. At least two of the staff members were constantly questioning the other staff for "what's in this batch?" "Where does this go?" "Is this batch salted?" Another thing is they didn't bother to shout out the names of the orders, like bruh, it's a Starbucks, what kind of Starbucks don't call out your name when your order is complete?? The seating area was a little messy but the napkins and condiments area was super messy. The staff did their job in taking and making orders, just work on the coordination and assembly to get it done faster. P.S. My daughter ordered a Mango dragon fruit refresher and they said said that they didn't have lemonade. They suggested water (same price, mind you). My daughter really wanted that beverage so we went with it. When we received the beverage, it looked nothing like the Mango dragon fruit refresher she had ordered many times before. There was also no fruit. The drive through was all backed up, as usual so we didn't want to hold everybody up over a minor inconvenience. We also had hot food in the trunk we picked up from another restaurant so we didn't want to waste mire time and go inside. DON'T GO HERE!!!!! GO TO IRONDEQUOIT, NY!!! I was standing outside in 100 degrees weather, waiting on my order. They clearly were looking at me and did not come to the door. RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had my mask on an all. A lady in her car told me if they where open and I said "I don't know". They didn't have any signs anywhere to tell me to go to drive through. I told them to give me my money back on my mobile app and a girl with fake blonde/yellow hair lied to me and said she has no control over that (they did in Irondequoit). She gave me drinks for free and LONG AND BEHOLD, she didn't give me coffee but cream and water! This was the second time this happened, I won't be giving them my money and service again. I use this location quite a bit and usually it's a good experience but this morning the service was not Starbucks service. I'm seriously disappointed when the person on the microphone was not that friendly greeting and they kept saying anything else as if it was an inconvenience. The person at the window was pleasant enough but barely said a word and definitely not, have a nice day or something similar that I'm used to. I will start with the positive experience I had before I get into the disappointing ones. About a week or two ago, a really sweet employee made my week when she complimented me. Her customer service is fantastic. She's blonde and usually has her hair in braids with a hat on and has such a welcoming attitude. However, the last 4-5 times I have ordered, something has been incorrect. From drink size, to the actual drink itself, to the contents of the drink, and even bakery goods. It's so disappointing that this happens EVERY time I order. I've only gone back for a drink remake once because I don't want to bother the employees for everything. Just this morning I had ordered a brownie and instead I was given a croissant. Last week I ordered a venti mango dragon fruit refresher and got a tall but the sticker even said venti. I'll attach that picture as well as the croissant. The week before I ordered the same thing and got a drink I've never seen before. It was orange and pink and had dried strawberries and pineapple floating at the top. The time before that, I ordered the same drink and asked for light ice but half the cup was full of ice. The time before that, I ordered a sweetened peach green tea and it was not sweetened and tasted so gross I had to toss it. I love Starbucks but this location definitely needs to work on making orders correctly and double checking before handing them out :( read more

This Starbucks makes me really wish there were more little local coffee shops in Webster! I'm actually a big fan of Starbucks as a company. I love their coffee and espresso in all its forms, from black to specialty drinks. They've really upped their game in the past few years when it comes to food options as well. I have a Gold Card and I regularly stop at other Starbucks locations when I'm traveling. Unfortunately, this location leaves a bit to be desired. One of my favorite things about Starbucks is that they're constantly rolling out new menu options, both coffee and food. This location seems to sell out of those new things insanely quickly (like, within hours on launch day) and the "sold out" sign stays up on the menu for months. It makes it seem like they just don't want to bother with the new menu items. The staff members are hit or miss. Some are very friendly, others are short and somewhat rude. I will say that in the past year or so, staff attitudes have improved immensely! It used to be a total buzzkill coming here, but no longer. They seem to be understaffed in the morning as well. The drive thru and in-store lines are always insanely backed up, and it's always my luck that I'm stuck behind a teenager trying to create some off-menu Instagram concoction. It seems like they need a better system for managing the morning rush. The in-store layout is super cramped! There is a giant retail shelf in the middle of the store that makes seating options limited. It sucks because, as I mentioned in the beginning of my review, there aren't a lot of local coffee shops in Webster where you can sit down and enjoy a coffee with friends. The drive thru layout isn't great either--it's one of those where if you decide to go through, you're committed. There's no way to leave once you're in the drive thru line. Makes it tough to stop through on the way to work, because you never know if they're going to get backed up and you'll end up late! Obviously I'll keep coming here as it is the Starbucks nearest to where I live, but it's certainly not my favorite 'bucks experience and makes me yearn for a local Webster coffee joint! read more

I typically have no issue with this Starbucks location however today they unexpectedly closed their indoor picked up. I had already purchased my drinks online and am now expected to wait in this drive thru line for over 30 minutes? I decided my time was worth more than my $8 order so I left without my purchase. So, I went here a few days ago after being declined a gift card at the Barns and Noble Starbucks, which had great cheesecake and personal pizza. When I got to the Hard Rod one instead, I was extremely disappointed right off the away with their slim variety of pastry. So my friend and I ordered two plain toasted bagels. After, one the the baristas; "Mike" dropped one of the bagels and we had to settle for a multi grain (not the end of the world) but didn't comp or discount our order? I mean, wouldn't that be the polite thing to do? Then, we watched him stare and criticize a woman for her order as she explained to him "it's just what I like and I always order it" he made comments like: "I don't have a button for that, and oh that's a little weird, never heard of that".
