    Oatmeal with Banana Brûlée
    Ryan H.

I went to the village bakery in Webster- as the breakfast never disappoints . The sore is open and clean, the choices focused and intentional to offer space for anyone and any dietary needs.. the counter service folks must be trained in hospitality as they are all so friendly. I ended up getting the banana brûlée oatmeal with fresh NY maple syrup. My advice: IF they have an almond croissants- MAKE SURE to grab ONE- They tend to run out quickly..

Food was pretty good, some better than others. Macaroon didn't meet even us expectations, and not even close to French standard. Quiche was pretty good, but definitely not the best I've had. Basil chicken sandwich was quite tasty. Also, the almond croissant was pretty close to French standards for just the croissant ... the almond filling was just ok and was a little gritty. Service was so-so ... cashier was pleasant but made a few minor errors, including (after asking twice) if what they had was ice water ... but it wasn't it was luke warm tap water ... fortunately the barista provided a cup with ice when I requested it. Silverware and napkins are available to pick up ... however, even though they deliver food at your table, they don't deliver it with silverware. I thought that was strange. Lastly, and this is quite disappointing ... the quiche was delivered with no garnishments (there should have been at least something to make the presentation nicer, eg a sliced orange or one strawberry or a piece of mesculin lettuce) and very poor presentation, including the crust, which must have broken off, was carelessly placed on top of the quiche. So thumbs up for the croissant & sandwich. Thumbs down for some of the way things were served, but staff was friendly.

Stopped by Village Bakery in Webster on a Wednesday afternoon around 12:45, and the place was bustling--wonderful to see such energy! I was happy to find they still had their white peppermint mocha available. I ordered mine less sweet, and it was absolutely fantastic. This was my first visit to this location, but the welcoming atmosphere and quality coffee ensured it won't be my last. Looking forward to exploring more from their menu next time!

Stopped in to meet a friend for coffee. Very spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered an iced matcha and was able to customize it with seasonal gingerbread syrup. The macaron I ordered was the perfect treat. The texture was not crumbly which I like. Our drinks came quickly and are well made. The Webster location lives up to the reputation Village Bakery is known for.

Top notch, yummy, comfort food , cooked perfectly. DELICIOUS baked goods (whoopie pies are a fav) and outstanding coffee , far better than Starbucks ! Nice , bright, clean open space to sit and enjoy your coffee and read.

    BALT with turkey... I guess.

You know those convenience store sandwiches that are loaded in the middle and cut in half so that the cross-section looks great, but the rest of the sandwich is just bread? Well didn't expect that here, but I got the B.A.L.T with turkey and it was extremely pathetic. For the price and the 45 minute wait, it's not even close to worth it. After several bad experiences here, I felt compelled to leave this review. Please spend your money at an establishment that still cares about quality and their customers.

Giving this visit a 2 star because generally speaking we like their products. Ordered one Black and White cookie that was very disappointing as it was over baked and very dry. We ended up throwing it away. Hopefully next time it will be fudgey and moist.

Stopped at this place in the Mall Location (Eastview Mall) Great coffee and the baked goods looked and tasted amazing! There's sitting area on the 1st and 2nd floor... Definitely worth a stop by and try... I tried getting a picture of the whole cookie but Liza got to it first...

First time checking this place out and it's better than I expected. They Lots of healthy sandwich and salad options as well as a "build your own" breakfast sandwich option. The space is very open and modern feeling and the staff was friendly. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu

Ok well a bunch of stars for the food as usual and the location is nice but the address terribly confusing. It's listed as on Main St but it's behind the shops on Main St like on it's own created street.

I wish this location had more bakery items. It would also be nice if they sold smaller breads as well as rolls.

I have ordered two different omelettes on two different occasions now: an egg white with spinach and mushroom and a meat lovers. Both were quite overcooked and the meat lovers seemed like a thin sheet of egg that they filled with toppings later on like a crepe. Additionally the meat lovers side of rye toast was obviously burnt but still served to me, I just ate around it for a few bites and gave up. My husband ordered fish and chips the first time - I thought the batter was tasty and enjoyed it though I think the filleting of the actual fish could have been a lot cleaner. This item is the only reason my review is not a one star, I thought it tasted good. The second time he ordered clam chowder and a salad that had chicken, fruit, nuts. The salad was fine nothing wrong but not a stand out either it seemed similar to something I'd get as a salad kit from the store. The clam chowder though was awful, so thick and gelatinous it seemed like it was canned which is already a red flag but one of those canned soups that you're supposed to add water to and like they forgot to do that part. On top of being weirdly thick it was also cold you can tell they didn't heat it thoroughly whether that was in a microwave or not though I can't really tell. I truly don't understand the hype or reviews for this restaurant given we've tried multiple items and for the most part fell flat with the sole exception of the fried fish. I was disappointed given the expectation from other reviews and unfortunately we won't be back for a third try.

Before we went there we went to dinner and stopped into Mama Lors Nice little restaurant. Kind of a random location too, but for some reason I liked where it was. Liked the outside of it. Reminded me of like restaurants in old ass buildings down in Staten Island. Spent a lot of time down in the city as a kid (family there) and lots of time on Staten Island. We'd always go to Italian restaurants there (even tho we are all Irish lol). This place kind of reminded me of those restaurants. I know, random thoughts to share, but that's immediately what I thought when I pulled up. It's NOT an Italian restaurant tho. It's American food. Burgers, salads, chicken dinners etc. Food was actually really good. Not too crazy overpriced like majority of restaurants these days...like ones that charge $15 for a plain waffle or something and the waffle is next level basic af. At least I'm not bitter lol But yeah, food was very good. The garlic bread...delicious. I have yet to find garlic bread tho that I don't like. Waitress was suuuuuper nice. Every employee we encountered was very nice. Place is big. Plenty of seating and you're not right on top of each other either. There is outdoor seating as well...pretty sure it was closed when we were there? Could be wrong. However, knowing what the weather right now is like back there...yeah, safe to say outdoor seating closed for the season lol. Restaurant is very clean. Nice floors lol. Random again, but I noticed that the second I walked in. I had neverrrr heard of this place until my friend suggested it. She lives in Chile so she's more familiar with the Rochester area. And Williamson, honestly, I forgot that city/town even existed lol. I didn't do any exploring there tho. The restaurant which is actually in Webster and then we headed to the hayride in Williamson...like 10 mins away. Nice place. I'd 100% go again. I'd also for sure recommend it to anyone..especially if they're looking for a nice restaurant that's not insanely expensive and has a really nice atmosphere AND is in a historic building. Ok so maybe in NY, it's not classified as a "historic building" bc most places in NY are historic. I live in Boise, Idaho tho. We have historic buildings here, but NOTHING like NY has. So when I go to an old building like this....IIIIIII classify it as a historic building haha. Thanks for reading, MamaYelperLor's!!!! Check it out! Support a local business! You'll enjoy it.
