Sunny's is located on 104 in Williamson and was a great breakfast stop before an appointment in Sodus. They have tons of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, potatoes, many drink options (boba and smoothies too!) and just a few tables for seating. Their cinnamon roll was flaky and delicious, the side of potatoes crispy and perfect. This is a very popular place with a long line, many folks seemed like regulars asking the staff how their family was. Slightly confusing line-up process vs. who was waiting to order and who was waiting for food. They take cards and have a tablet for checking out. Best chocolate glazed donuts in the game. More dense than a typical chocolate donut and tastes almost like brownie batter. The lemon squares are huge and delicious. First visit to Sunny's Donut and Cafe was a success and we will be back. Upon arriving we were greeted and each child with us was offered a donut hole. We appreciated this kind touch. We were amazed by the size of the donuts in the cases and the variety to choose from. The cafe was bustling with people waiting in line to be served. The line moved quickly and we were out the door before we knew it. The cafe is small and there were not many options for seating. We would have liked to eat in but had to take our donuts to go. We paid $15 for a half dozen which works for me based on the quality of the donuts. I do realize this is higher compared to some local chains but you would not be getting the same quality product in comparison. The quality of the donuts is exceptional. We all loved the choices we made and were impressed by how fresh they were. I always like to judge the quality of a donut place by their glazed donut and Sunny's glazed was perfection. read more

I was visiting a friend and she took me here for their incredible donuts. We came around 11:30 am and had a selection of only a handful of donuts (which speaks to how great and popular a bakery is!). The employees there were really helpful in explaining what a spud was and which items they would recommend. We had a delicious breakfast and made sure we visited much earlier the following day to have a bigger selection. Good place for donuts. The place is small with small parking lot. There are few tables for dine in. Staffs are friendly. I came here on Saturday around 7:30am and after 5-7 minutes waiting, I was helped to get my donuts. They also have breakfast and boda tea. I got Boston cream and apple cinnamon. They are huge and heavy. The Boston cream is good. The apple cinnamon dough could be a bit softer, and the sugar powder was too much that made me cough so bad after the first bite. Recently found this donut shop and decided to try it.....OMG! The cannoli donuts are the best and filled with the best cannoli filling. This is the sister company to Ridge Donuts on Goodman St but just newer. Staff is so friendly and always willing to make sure you get exactly what you want. They will even give you a sample if you are unsure. Nice and clean inside. Few tables to sit at and enjoy. They also have sandwiches, coffee and drinks to enjoy. This place is definitely a hidden gem!! Fresh donuts and hot drinks available early in the morning. I ate breakfast there and got a giant cherry donut for the road. They unfortunately sold out of their donut pretzels which were GIANT sized so I'll definitely have to get their early next time!! read more

This is how I judge a bakery: can they 'do' fried dough right? It's easy to get distracted by flavors and fillings--you can overlook the simple things like texture and greasiness. Y'all. This place. The fried dough (which they call a flying saucer): perfection. Dough nice and light, texture was great and not at all greasy. I will be back for something more complex, for sure. Sunny's doesn't look like much--after all, it shares a space with a gas station. The service is about what you'd expect in a small operation; you're going to wait your turn. But if I lived in Williamson, I would be buying bigger pants because I'd be there every day. Do yourself a favor and make the trip. read more

First let me say, I need to give these guys another try since it is a new business. I got 4 donuts and a hot cocoa. The donuts are HUGE! Customer service is good and people obviously like this place as it was quite packed. That said, of my 4 donuts, the Boston Creme and Peanut donuts were great. The coconut donut tasted stale, so I didn't finish it. The chocolate / chocolate donut was hard / stale. I didn't finish that one either. If you didn't know where Sunny's was you could easily drive by it and never know how much confectionary goodness you were missing out on. Tucked in to a small shop next to a gas station/convenient market this cafe produces some of the most delicious donuts we have ever eaten. Made with care from scratch and proofed on site overnight. The bakery produces at least 20 different donuts and specials. We usually order a box of a dozen different donuts. The staff is super friendly and delightfully helpful. The treats they produce are fresh, delectable and unique. They are so good it is genuinely hard to eat just one per sitting so we usually cut ours in 1/2 or 1/4 and share with each other. If you enjoy unique fresh donuts and you're anywhere even remotely close, it's well worth the time to stop in and satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

Go. It's worth the drive. Being from Orlando, I have many great options for donuts including some famous/specialty brands and none are so good as Sunny's! The staff was very friendly. The prices are very fair. The donuts are huge, fresh, and most importantly, delicious. When some of the major brands have resorted to baking in factories and shipping out frozen product, it was so refreshing to have a real, soft, fresh donut. Please support this local business! This is a straight-up gem for Williamson and surrounding communities. I've already plowed through a jelly with powdered sugar coating and a chocolate frosted with vanilla cream. My kids have had chocolate with chocolate frosting, powdered ring, and a couple of others i don't remember, but every one was loved. I'm on vacation so I'm ignoring calories for a little, but if I lived here, it would be trouble. I would surely gain lots of weight from eating too many donuts from this place.
