We LOVE going to Little Bits! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming all the time. This is our go to coffee shop when I don't feel like making my own at home, especially on a weekend. They are great at making reccomdations, and the seasonal menu items are delicious too!

Little Bits is a dine-in cafe/coffee shop at Titus and Cooper in Irondequoit. Parking is shared with Titus Tavern and the soon to open(?) Capone's Italian Eatery. I was given a gift card here so I've been twice. The drink offerings are pretty standard (coffee, latte, americano, cappuccino, espresso, etc.) $1 for almond, soy, or oat milk. The Briarwood breakfast sandwich (egg and cheese) had a nice soft roll. There is a variety of wraps and paninis on the menu as well. I love that they have meatless lunch options - I had a vegan chicken wrap with chips and a pickle and enjoyed it. The service is friendly, there's free wifi, and a discount for cash payments. I'll be back!

Got here at 7:30 am on a Friday and beat the morning rush by only a few minutes! The service was friendly. The ambience was cozy. The white mocha on ice was flavorful and well-balanced. But the piece de resistance was the breakfast sandwich. I ordered the Colebrook, which contained a delicious combination of feta, pesto, egg, onion, and a centerpiece of roasted red pepper. Can't finish the review right now - gotta rush back out there and eat another!

Came here because my normal coffee spot was closed and I shouldn't of. This was the most watered down cheap coffee you can get, they used Hersheys chocolate syrup for my coffee like I'm a child. They had the cheapest oat and almond milk that tasted like water. I threw it away when I should have asked for my money back but the workers were already so awkward when I first walked in I didn't wanna go back.

    Cappuccino - tasty!

Cute little cafe next door to Titus Tavern in irondequoit. About 6 tables inside and some seating out front. Baristas are very friendly. Ordered a cappuccino. Very smooth with just enough foam but not too much. Didn't try any of the food yet. Will have to update when I do in the future. Worth a look!

I always like to look for espresso specials and we were not disappointed by the selection. My fiance got The Snug with maple syrup and molasses bitters. I was too afraid to try any drinks with bitters (I hate how it tastes in cocktails) but I took a sip of The Snug and it tasted great, I would definitely try that next time. I had the B.B.L. latte which had banana syrup, it was more on the sweet side but not overly sweet (I would avoid it if you don't enjoy a sweet palate, try a latte with bitters instead!) It was something unique to try and I was happy with my choice. There was also plenty of seating which is always a huge plus in the winter in Rochester. We had no trouble getting a table. I should also note that there was a very limited food selection here -- about 3 baked goods offered. So if you're looking for food and coffee, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Overall I would happily try out Ugly Duck again! I'm curious if they have outdoor seating in the warmer months.

The downside is…read morethat there isn't a lot of seating space--I actually came here a while back on a weekend and ended up leaving because all the tables were occupied. To counteract the limited seating, there isn't any wifi. While I can respect this decision, it is unfortunate that I was looking for a place to do work while sipping on coffee. I got the seasonal BBL (I'm assuming Banana bread latte). The latte itself is quite strongly brewed, and the drink was very banana-forward. There is a slight hint of acidity, but i didn't mind it too much. If I'm every in the area, I think it would be more prudent to grab something to go, but I do think it's worth visiting for the coffee and the vibes!

On my first visit, I had the unfortunate timing to arrive late in the morning after a huge rush of locals had pretty much wiped out all their specials. Except one: a coffee drink with fish sauce. You read that correctly. FISH SAUCE. Like the kind you put on a savory Asian dish. It wasn't what I wanted, but the person making the coffees talked me into it because, as noted, they were literally out of almost everything else. I thought, well, I do like fish sauce, and maybe it just adds an umami kick, the way salt on caramel amps up the richness of a dessert. And I was not disappointed! In fact, it was delightful and very easy to drink! From that point, I felt pretty much hooked. These folks know their flavor combos and despite how 'weird' some might sound, they just work. My current obsession is their miso gourd-core on their fall menu - sort of like a savory pumpkin spice latte - delicious. I also love the golden nugget with turmeric maple syrup and clove. Really good. I have not tried anything else here food-wise (i.e. no cookies, smoothies or other nibbles), but usually pair my coffee with something delectable from next door at Jens Artisan - such as a quiche, mini cheesecake or cinnamon roll.... I'm a fan. And I highly recommend trying something outside of your comfort zone!

You enter through the ordering area on the right, which opens up to additional seating on the left. Interactions with staff were purely transactional, no small talk or pleasantries, unlike what others have experienced. My drink was ready within a few minutes, while my food took 15. Maple Cinnamon Chai: autumn in a cup. The spices added a cozy warmth to the chai, and the balance of tea to milk was just right. The maple syrup was subtle, leaving a light, sweet aftertaste. Lovely seasonal option. Beechwood Bowl: customizable bowl with your choice of protein, cheese, and sauce. The base comes with two eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers. I went with sausage, vegan mozzarella, and sriracha mayo. The to-go version came in a paper box with utensils. The portion was on the smaller side, but the potatoes and veggies were well-seasoned and nicely cooked. The eggs were soft but a bit bland. The sausage was finely chopped and on the salty side. The vegan mozzarella added a creamy texture. The sriracha mayo had good flavor, but the drizzle was too light to carry through the whole dish. The standout was the crispy potatoes, everything else was just okay. I wouldn't return for the food, but the drinks were memorable. I'd definitely come back for their coffee or tea.

Introduction to Western NY experience:…read more Another out of town Yelp review for alphabet series representing the letter N for N is for New City Cafe & Roastery. Last April 2024, we had gone on 2 trips, which is highly unusual. Rochester, NY was a planned trip, and the M is for Moxie 33 in Virginia was an unplanned trip 2 weeks later. There was a Total Solar Eclipse across America on April 8, 2024, which was the catalyst for my friends doing a love ceremony in the groom's birth city of Rochester and us going there in the first place. Rochester had its pluses & minuses like any place, but one of the pluses was a couple of the great local businesses we tried including Chai Guy & New City Cafe. Also, the day after the solar eclipse we enjoyed the close proximity to Niagara Falls & Buffalo. The day after that on Wednesday, April 10 was our last day staying Rochester before hitting the road later in the afternoon to get back to Maryland, which we visited New City Cafe around midday. Also, interestingly, my girlfriend & I got back from a Canada trip in early June 2025, which included overnights in Niagara Falls, ON, Toronto, & Syracuse, NY and stopping in Buffalo on way, Kingston, ON on northern route on way to Syracuse, & the Finger Lakes area after leaving Syracuse, but we ended up avoiding Rochester this time around. New City Cafe Experience: A group of us from our trip ate brunch & coffee here around lunchtime on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The staff was friendly, and the egg breakfast sandwich I got was delicious and big portion as was the Matcha Latte. My g/f & I had to go back to the Chai Guy for a Chai since we enjoyed so much the morning before; so we split the Matcha Latte. One friend in the group got their Kombucha, which he let me try, but the flavor wasn't my cup of tea, but it was still a good quality. We sat on a long bench which accommodating for our large group. The place was well decorated with various local Rochester flair. As it turns out, this was a non-profit, church ministry to help people in the local community with jobs and to serve the community with friendly customer service, providing great food/drink, & a community gathering place. We didn't know about this as a church ministry as we were just picking a brunch place within close proximity to where a lot of the people's AirBnB as they just checked out, but that's kind of cool. If I'm ever in Rochester again, I'd definitely consider coming back to New City Cafe.
